멀티모달 맥락정보 융합에 기초한 다중 물체 목표 시각적 탐색 이동 (Multi-Object Goal Visual Navigation Based on Multimodal Context Fusion)

  • MultiOn(Multi-Object Goal Visual Navigation)은 에이전트가 미지의 실내 환경 내 임의의 위치에 놓인 다수의 목표 물체들을 미리 정해준 일정한 순서에 따라 찾아가야 하는 매우 어려운 시각적 탐색 이동 작업이다. MultiOn 작업을 위한 기존의 모델들은 행동 선택을 위해 시각적 외관 지도나 목표 지도와 같은 단일 맥락 지도만을 이용할 뿐, 다양한 멀티모달 맥락정보에 관한 종합적인 관점을 활용할 수 없다는 한계성을 가지고 있다. 이와 같은 한계성을 극복하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 MultiOn 작업을 위한 새로운 심층 신경망 기반의 에이전트 모델인 MCFMO(Multimodal Context Fusion for MultiOn tasks)를 제안한다. 제안 모델에서는 입력 영상의 시각적 외관 특징외에 환경 물체의 의미적 특징, 목표 물체 특징도 함께 포함한 멀티모달 맥락 지도를 행동 선택에 이용한다. 또한, 제안 모델은 점-단위 합성곱 신경망 모듈을 이용하여 3가지 서로 이질적인 맥락 특징들을 효과적으로 융합한다. 이 밖에도 제안 모델은 효율적인 이동 정책 학습을 유도하기 위해, 목표 물체의 관측 여부와 방향, 그리고 거리를 예측하는 보조 작업 학습 모듈을 추가로 채용한다. 본 논문에서는 Habitat-Matterport3D 시뮬레이션 환경과 장면 데이터 집합을 이용한 다양한 정량 및 정성 실험들을 통해, 제안 모델의 우수성을 확인하였다.

석고(石膏)가 만성 신부전 Rat의 신기능 보호 및 조직학적 변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Gypsum Fibrosum on Renal Functional and Histopathological Disorder in Chronic Renal Failure Rat Model)

  • Objective : Gypsum fibrosum has been traditionally used in treatment of febrile diseases and recently been shown to have anti-inflammatory effect. Chronic renal failure has a serious clinical symptoms including proteinuria, azotemia, anemia, and hyperlipidemia and has characteristic histopathological changes, glomerular hypertrophy, infiltration of inflammatory cells, and crescentic sclerosis, We investigated the effects of gypsum fibrosum on renal functional and histopathological disorder in chronic renal failure rat model induced 5/6 nephrectomy. Methods : Using Sprague-Dawley rats, CRF was induced by 5/6 nephrectomy. The rats were divided into 3 groups, normal, conrol, and gypsum administered orally with gypsum fibrosum 500mg/kg/day. Body weight, 24 hr proteinuria, hematologic analysis, and histological morphologic changes were followed up after 8 weeks. The glomerular macrophage/monocyte infiltration, $TGF-{\beta}_1$, type IV collagen, and angiotensin II type1 receptor($AT_1$) were evaluated by immunohistochemistry. Resuls : In the CRF control group, functional parameters and histopathologic changes clearly indicated the development of CRF. 24 hr proteinuria significantly increased in the CRF control group over the normal group, and serum creatinine level was lower in the gypsum group than in the control group, LDL-cholesterol was significantly lower in the gypsum group than in the control group. Morphological investigations showed a variety of characteristic features of CRF, glomerular hypertrophy, increasing cellular density of glomerulus, deposition of extra-cellular matrix, fibrotic change, and glomerular sclerosis in the control group, but in the gypsum group, these features diminished significantly. In observation of renal type IV collagen and $AT_1$ expression, positive area significantly increased in the control group over the normal group, and it significantly decreased in the gypsum group compared to the control group. Conclusions : Our findings suggest that gypsum fibrosum inhibits $AT_1$ and type IV collagen expression in renal tissues and attenuates progression of glomerulosclerosis and interstitial fibrosis in chronic renal failure rats, which lead to amelioration of renal function. From these results, we suggest that gypsum fibrosum may have renoprotective effects and could be a useful remedy agent for treating chronic renal failure.

등고선지도를 이용한 수로 및 산사태 위험 분석 -천안의 성거산을 중심으로- (A risk analysis of water courses and landslide using contour maps -Focusing on Mt. Seonggo in Cheonan City-)

  • 우리나라는 지형적, 기후적 특성으로 인해 매년 여름 산사태의 가능성이 크며, 최근 난개발로 인해 이의 발생과 피해가 더욱 커지고 있다. 천안지역은 상대적으로 안전한 지역으로 인식되어 왔으나 산사태의 위험요인이 증가하고 있어 체계적 분석이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 천안 성거산 주변을 중심으로 등고선 지도를 이용하여 지형의 특징을 추출하고, 이를 이용하여 호우 시 수로와 유역의 면적을 계산하였다. 분석결과 성거산 주변 지역은 수로의 길이와 호우 유입량 관점에서 산사태에 비교적 안정적인 것으로 분석되었으나 일부 국소지역은 계속적 관찰이 필요하다. 한편 등고선 지도는 다른 수치지도 보다 비용 면에서 경제적이므로 1차적 산사태 위험도 분석에 적합하다.

The Identification of Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix, Vladimiriae Radix and Aristolochiae Radix, Using Macroscopic, Microscopic and Physicochemical Methods

  • Objectives: This study aimed for establishing the discriminative criteria for Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix, Vladimiriae Radix and Aristolochiae Radix, which can be confused as 'Mokhyang', because of similar appearances and synonyms. Methods: Morphological characteristics of dried herbal medicines were compared by macroscopic observation. To examine microscopic features of 'Mokhyang', paraffin embedding and the staining by using Ju's method were conducted. Physicochemical experiments were performed using HPLC analysis and antioxidant assay. Results: The types of stem, phyllotaxy and leaf shape were chosen as macroscopic criteria and the size, oil spots, color and root top as well as phloem and central cylinder were compared using microscopic features. The HPLC results showed different amounts of costunolide and dehydrocostuslactone among Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix and Vladimiriae Radix. However, Aristolochiae Radix only contained aristolochic acid. The antioxidant assays also showed that Vladimiriae Radix exhibited strongest antioxidant activity followed by Aucklandiae Radix, Inulae Radix and Aristolochiae Radix. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that macroscopic, microscopic and physicochemical methods would be useful tools for the discrimination of 4 kinds of 'Mokhyang'.

파티클 필터를 장착한 가중된 다중 인스턴스학습을 이용한 전방차량 추적 (Forward Vehicle Tracking Based on Weighted Multiple Instance Learning Equipped with Particle Filter)

  • 본 논문에서는 파티클 필터를 장착하고 WMIL(Weighted Multiple Instance Learning)을 이용한 전방차량 추적 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘에서 영상표현은 Haar-like 특징들을 사용하고 차량인식 결과는 추적하고자 하는 전방차량의 위치를 알아내는데 사용된다. 제안된 방식에서 WMIL과 파티클 필터를 결합하기 위해 기존의 외관모델을 이용한 추적에서 탐색영역에서 영상조각의 추적객체 신뢰도 맵을 계산하는 대신에 파티클 필터의 전파, 관측, 추정, 선택 그리고 분류기 훈련 등의 단계를 매 프래임 마다 순차적으로 수행하여 객체의 새로운 위치를 갱신하였다. 제안된 전방차량 추적방식은 실험을 통해 Ada-boost, MIL(Multiple Instance Learning)이나 WMIL 방법을 이용하는 추적에 비해 파티클 필터로 인해 계산량 증가는 불가피하나 추적의 질적인 정확도는 국도, 고속도로, 터널 및 시내도로 등의 실험 동영상에서 추적대상의 위치오차가 평균 4.5화소 정도로 기존의 추적방법들에 비해 크게 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • We propose a cosmological survey to probe star formation and nuclear activity in galaxies at redshifts of z=2-4 by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) features using the SPICA mid-infrared instrument (SMI) with a spectral resolution of R=20. We will cover a wavelength range of $20-36{\mu}$ that corresponds to z=2-4 for the PAH features (11.3, 7.7, and $6.2{\mu}$). The sensitivity will be $1{\times}10^{-19}W/m^2(5{\sigma})$ in case of a reference survey that covers 4 arcmin2 field in a one-hour observation. It corresponds to $L_{IR}=2{\times}10^{11}L_{\odot}$ at z=3 and will give us more than 10000 galaxies in a 450 hour survey.

드리스 반 노튼 컬렉션 고찰 (2) - 1992년 S/S ~ 2014년 F/W 남성복을 중심으로 - (An Observation on Dries Van Noten's Collections (2) - Focus on Men's Collections from 1992 S/S to 2014 F/W -)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between the inspirations and designs of Dries Van Noten's Men's collections from 1992 S/S to 2014 F/W. The specific questions of this research are as follows: what are the important design features of the Dries Van Noten's Mixed collections from 1985 S/S to 1991 F/W? What are 'the roots of inspiration' of Dries Van Noten's Men's collections from 1992 S/S to 2014 F/W, and what are the aesthetic criterions of Noten's works? How can the roots of inspiration be categorized and what are its features? How did these roots of inspiration influence the Noten's designs? The paper is a reference of how ideas turn to practical works, and what the relationship between inspiration and design. Researchers utilized a qualitative research method providing a systematic review of the previous studies by analyzing the content. To conclude, roots of inspiration of Dries Van Noten's Men's collections can be classified into nine categories: 'Interpretation', 'Ethnic', 'Multiple Contents', 'Subculture', 'Region', 'Artist', 'Fashion Item', 'Sports', and 'New Trend'. Through the roots of inspiration, sensibility of Belgium, England, Italy, French chic, inquiry of ethnic, artist, sports, the neuter gender image, 1950's, 1960's & 1970's trend & style of street fashion, elegance for men, romanticism, zoot, rock 'n' roll, teddy boy, mods, punk, new romantic and 19th century's Anglo-Saxon style are extracted and applied to the designs through cross impact. The identity of Dries Van Noten's Men's collections are cross culture contents and harmony of the old generation and new generation.

CORDEX-동아시아 2단계 영역 재현실험을 통한 WRF 강수 모의성능 평가 (Evaluation of Reproduced Precipitation by WRF in the Region of CORDEX-East Asia Phase 2)

  • This study evaluates the performance of the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model in reproducing the present-day (1981~2005) precipitation over Far East Asia and South Korea. The WRF model is configured with 25-km horizontal resolution within the context of the COordinated Regional climate Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) - East Asia Phase 2. The initial and lateral boundary forcing for the WRF simulation are derived from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecast Interim reanalysis. According to our results, WRF model shows a reasonable performance to reproduce the features of precipitation, such as seasonal climatology, annual and inter-annual variabilities, seasonal march of monsoon rainfall and extreme precipitation. In spite of such model's ability to simulate major features of precipitation, systematic biases are found in the downscaled simulation in some sub-regions and seasons. In particular, the WRF model systematically tends to overestimate (underestimate) precipitation over Far East Asia (South Korea), and relatively large biases are evident during the summer season. In terms of inter-annual variability, WRF shows an overall smaller (larger) standard deviation in the Far East Asia (South Korea) compared to observation. In addition, WRF overestimates the frequency and amount of weak precipitation, but underestimates those of heavy precipitation. Also, the number of wet days, the precipitation intensity above the 95 percentile, and consecutive wet days (consecutive dry days) are overestimated (underestimated) over eastern (western) part of South Korea. The results of this study can be used as reference data when providing information about projections of fine-scale climate change over East Asia.

In-situ and remote observation of Cochlodinium.p blooms and consequences of physical features off the Korean coast

  • Spatial and temporal aspects of toxic dinoflagellate Cochlodinium.p blooms and consequences of physical features in complex coastal ecosystems, off the southern Korean coast, have been investigated using data obtained from SeaWiFS and AVHRR as well as in-situ observations. Hydrographic parameters measured using CTD sensors were used to elucidate physical factors affecting the spatial distribution and abundance of Cochlodinium.p blooms. The results show spatial and temporal variations of chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) and sea surface temperature (SST) and reveal significant information about Cochlodinium.p blooms and process underlying their evolution. Satellitederived Chl-a estimates appear to be potential in explicating the evolution, movement and distribution of Cochlodinium.p blooms in the enclosed bays of the South Sea. The existence of thromohaline waters offshore provide favorable conditions for the rapid growth and subsequent southward initiation of Cochlodinium.p blooms that are influenced to flow on the offshore branch (OB) during September. It was observed that there was a significant variation in the sun-induced chlorophyll-a fluorescence signal in the remote sensing fluorescence spectra and its high-intensity was recognized during the period of exponential growth and physical transport. Satellite-derived Chl-a concentration during September 1999 ranged between $3­60mg/m^3$ inside the Jin-hae and adjacent Bays and $1-6mg/m^3$ in offshore waters, with varying Cochlodinium.p abundances 1500 to 26000 cells $ml^{-1}.$ The closely spaced CTD surveys and satellite-derived SST give a complete overview on the initiation of Cochlodinium.p blooms in hydrodynamically active regions of the offshore southern East Sea by the influence of Tsushima Warm Current (TWC).

  • 심인성 발작은 신경과 및 정신과 임상에서 가끔씩 접하게 되는 질환으로서 진성 간질성 발작과의 감별진단이 가장 중요하다고 하겠다. 특히 정신과의사는 면밀한 환자의 병력청취, 임상양상 관찰 등을 통하여 확진 전 단계에서 심인성 발작을 어느 정도 진단내릴 수 있다고 생각된다. 저자들은 11세 여아의 심인성 발작 증례를 경험했는데, 심리환경적 스트레스가 명확했고, 임상특징이 일치 했으며, 신속한 검사와 정신과적 중재에 의해서 좋은 결과를 얻었다. 본 증례로 볼 때 소아기 심인성 발작의 진단과 치료에 있어서 뇌파 검사 외에도 철저한 가족배경 조사 및 병력청취와 정신교육학적 중재가 중요하다고 생각된다.
