  • Performance appraisal system is to evaluate employee' work performance, work ability and work attitude. It becomes a important foundation of personnel management. This system's goal is to accomplish employee ability development. The purpose of this study is to make some contributions in order to efficient performance appraisal system of hotels by analyzing the problems of current performance appraisal system. The suggestions for efficient performance appraisal system are as follows: 1. Performance appraisal by job analysis. 2. Though evaluators' training for objective assessment. 3. The assistance system of appraisal results for employees. 4. Magnifying use of appraisal results. 5. Object management strategy by using self-rating.

소프트웨어 복제도 감정기법의 표준화 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Research Model for the Standardization of Software-Similarity-Appraisal Techniques)

  • 소프트웨어(SW) 복제도 감정의 목적은 두 프로그램 사이의 동일 또는 유사성 정도를 판단하는 것으로, 컴퓨터프로그림 저작권 관련 분쟁해결의 주요한 기술적 판단근거를 제시하는 제도라 할 수 있다. SW감정을 진행함에 있어서 중요한 점은 감정인의 주관적 판단에 편중되지 않도록 하고, 신속 객관적인 감정의 수행으로 정확한 감정결과를 도출해내는 것이다. 그러나 현재까지 체계적인 감정기법의 표준화 연구 및 개발은 미비한 상태이며, SW감정 분야별(유형별) 감정기법 조차 전문 감정인들에 따라 그 접근방법이 천차만별이어서 뚜렷한 표준안이 제시되지 못하고 있다. 또한, 기 수행되었던 감정사례에 대한 실증적 분석 결과, 기존 감정 절차 및 기법의 오류 또는 감정인의 전문지식 결여 등의 문제가 잠재하여 일부 감정결과에 대한 객관성 및 정확성에 손상이 있음을 알 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 감정인에 따라 동일한 평가 항목에 대하여 서로 다른 결과가 도출될 수 있는 오차의 허용치를 감소시키기 위한 객관적인 평가 방법과 정형화된 SW복제도 감정기법의 표준화 모델을 제시한다. 특히, 기존 감정기법의 문제점 해결 및 보완 연구를 기반으로 감정범위의 설정, 감정기준 및 방법, 단위작업 프로세스 기준의 감정영역 및 감정항목 설정, 가중치 부여, 논리적 복제도와 물리적 복제도 산출 등에 초점을 맞추어 감정기법을 분석 평가한다. 따라서 SW복제도 감정 기법의 표준화 모델은 감정인의 주관적 판단에 의한 오류의 가능성을 최소화하고, 감정결과의 객관성 및 신뢰성을 한층 제고하기 위한 도구를 제공할 것이다.

  • 기록관리의 가장 궁극적인 목표는 기관의 기능과 활동을 역사로 남기는 것이다. 기관의 활동을 반영하는 많은 기록물들 가운데 어떤 기록물들이 장기적으로 보존할 가치가 있는가를 객관적으로 평가하여 가치 있는 기록물들만을 선별해 내는 것은 기록관리의 핵심이면서도 대단히 어려운 작업이다. 현대기록은 그 양적인 폭증 및 복잡성의 증대, 전자화 현상을 특징으로 하며, 이는 정보화 환경과 맞물려, 기록물의 전생애주기에 걸친 관리, 통제라는 연속체적 개념의 성립을 가져 왔다. 본 연구는 장기보존할 가치가 있는 기록물을 기록물관리 초기 단계에서부터 선별하기 위한 객관적인 가이드 라인으로서 기관의 기능과 조직이라는 거시적인 요소와 개별 기록물의 내용평가(증거적가치)라는 미시적인 요소가 결합된 업무분석적 평가방안을 제안하였다.

New Appraisal Method for Blocking Effects in Subimage Coding

  • Considering the human visual masking property, a modified relationship between the activity function and the visibility threshold is developed. This leads to a novel objective appraisal method for blocking effects in a lossy subimage coding by virtue of the human visual sensitivity. The appraisal criterion is examined using a series of reconstructed images that are DCT-coded at various bit rates. Experimental results show that the presented blocking effect measure well agrees with the subjective ranking.

Psychological Impact of Health Risk Appraisal of Korean Women at Different Levels of Breast Cancer Risk: Neglected Aspect of the Web-based Cancer Risk Assessment Tool

  • Objective: Health risk appraisal is often utilized to modify individual's health behavior, especially concerning disease prevention, and web-based health risk appraisal services are being provided to the general public in Korea. However, little is known about the psychological effect of the health risk appraisal even though poorly communicated information by the web-based service may result in unintended adverse health outcomes. This study was conducted to explore the psychological effect of health risk appraisal using epidemiological risk factor profile. Methods: We conducted a randomized trial comparing risk factor list type health risk appraisal and risk score type health risk appraisal. We studied 60 women aged 30 years and older who had no cancer. Anxiety level was assessed using the Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory YZ. Results: The results of multivariate analysis showed that risk status was the independent predictors of increase of state anxiety after health risk appraisal intervention when age, education, health risk appraisal type, numeracy, state anxiety, trait anxiety, and health risk appraisal type by risk status interaction was adjusted. Women who had higher risk status had an odd of having increased anxiety that was about 5 times greater than women who had lower risk status. Conclusions: Our findings indicate that communicating the risk status by individual health risk appraisal service can induce psychological sequelae, especially in women having higher risk status. Hospitals, institutes, or medical schools that are operating or planning to operate the online health risk appraisal service should take side effects such as psychological sequelae into consideration.

보육교사의 정서지능과 직무스트레스 간의 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개적 역할 (The Mediating Roles of Child Care Teachers' Communicative Competence in the Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Job Stress)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between child care teachers' emotional intelligence, communicative competence, and job stress. Methods: Four hundred and fifty child care teachers answered questionnaires on three research variables. Data were analyzed by correlation analyses and regression analyses. Results: First, child care teachers' emotional intelligence, i.e. self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, uses of emotion, and regulation of emotion, were negatively related to job stress. Second, child care teachers' emotional intelligence, i.e. self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, uses of emotion, and regulation of emotion, were positively associated with communicative competence. Third, child care teachers' communicative competence was negatively linked to job stress. Lastly, child care teachers' communicative competence partially mediated the relationship between self-emotion appraisal, others' emotion appraisal, regulation of emotion, and job stress, and child care teachers' communicative competence fully mediated the relationship between uses of emotion and job stress. Conclusion/Implications: This study suggests that high emotional intelligence and effective communication are important in order to reduce child care teachers' job stress.

의료감정(鑑定)에 있어 포괄성에 대한 고찰 (The Study on the Comprehensiveness of Medical Appraisal)

  • The conventional medical appraisal which was done in the process of medical lawsuit was requested from the court to the designated hospital and was delivered as a pattern of one question and one answer in each. However, the comprehensiveness of medical appraisal which was pursued, for example, in Korea Medical Dispute Mediation and Arbitration Agency, could be guaranteed in terms of in-depth medical analysis as well as the broader capacity of the causality estimation besides. The comprehensiveness of appraisal would also include how well organized hospital system of medical care is and how well correlated job system among medical staffs, when medical dispute was happened at the hospital. This comprehensiveness will exert a big contribution on making a demonstrative medical care to prevent from the medical dispute and it could achieve the national plan of building the patient safety net which is effective in restoring the worsened quality of contemporary medical service. Therefore, the comprehensiveness of medical appraisal has to be designed to go forward interdisciplinary fused speciality rather than one division of medicine, which is also aiming at the reliable and consistent appraisal with the supreme dignity from one window. In addition to that, the objective and concrete frame of comprehensive appraisal under the computed connection has to be deliberated to make itself possible in collaboration with positive participation of medical community. The comprehensiveness of medical appraisal would serve to expand not only the capacity of speciality but also the ability of influence on a restorative justice, so that it give effect to an increased number of mediation and arbitration rather than medical lawsuit as well as a decreased number of the social cost and social conflict.

정서의 심리적 모델: 개별 정서 모델, 평가 모델, 차원 모델을 중심으로 (Review on Discrete, Appraisal, and Dimensional Models of Emotion)

  • Objective: This study is to review three representative psychological perspectives that explain scientific construct of emotion, that are the discrete emotion model, appraisal model, and dimensional model. Background: To develop emotion sensitive interface is the fusion area of emotion and scientific technology, it is necessary to have a balanced mixture of both the scientific theory of emotion and practical engineering technology. Extensional theories of the emotional structure can provide engineers with relevant knowledge in functional application of the systems. Method: To achieve this purpose, firstly, literature review on the basic emotion model and the circuit model of discrete emotion model as well as representative theories was done. Secondly, review on the classical and modern theories of the appraisal model emphasizing cognitive appraisal in emotion provoking events was conducted. Lastly, a review on dimensional theories describing emotion by dimensions and representative theories was conducted. Results: The paper compared the three models based on the prime points of the each model. In addition, this paper also made a comment on a need for a comprehensive model an alternative to each model, which is componential model by Scherer(2001) describing numerous emotional aspects. Conclusion: However, this review suggests a need for an evolved comprehensive model taking consideration of social context effect and discrete neural circuit while pinpointing the limitation of componential model. Application: Insight obtained by extensive scientific research in human emotion can be valuable in development of emotion sensitive interface and emotion recognition technology.

기록물 보존가치 평가 개선방안에 관한 연구 - 육군 특수기록관 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Improvement Directions of Appraisal for Archival Values - Focused on example of ROK Army's Repository -)

  • 이 글의 목적은 기록물의 보존가치 평가를 객관적이고 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 모든 기록을 보존하여 후대에 전하는 것이 가장 안정적인 기록보존의 형태가 될 수는 있겠으나, 비용 대비 효과의 문제를 고려하지 않을 수 없고, 무엇보다 기록의 보존가치를 평가하여 중요기록물을 선별 보존함으로써 기록의 평가는 완성되기에 소위 말하는 평가론자들을 포함한 기록관리자들은 객관성을 담보할 수 있는 평가 기준을 찾기 위한 노력을 지속해 왔다. 그럼에도 불구하고 지금까지의 연구는 개략적인 기준의 제시, 기록물관리기관의 현실과 다소 동떨어진 이론적 분석 위주로 이루어졌다는 한계를 갖고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 평가이론과 현행 기록관리법령을 기반으로 기록물관리기관에서 적용해볼 수 있는 보존가치 평가방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 즉, 생산자 의견조회는 단순한 조회로 그쳐서는 안 되며 다각적인 평가요소를 가미하여 판단할 수 있도록 '추가적인 업무활용 목적', '기록의 역사성', '기록의 유일성', '기록의 중요성(기록이 미치는 파급효과, 적용범위)', '기록의 증거력(향후 법적 분쟁 등에서의 증빙성)'으로 평가요소를 세분화하고 상 중 하의 계량적 평가를 실시해야 한다. 기록관리전문요원 심사 역시 '거시적 평가', '분류기준표(기록관리기준표)상의 보존기간', '관계법령, 훈령 및 규정상에 책정된 보존기간(법령 및 규정류)', '기록의 역사성', '기록의 유일성', '기록의 중요성(기록이 미치는 파급효과, 적용범위)', '기록의 증거력(향후 법적 분쟁 등에서의 증빙성)'으로 평가요소를 세분화하고 요소별 계량적 평가를 실시함으로써 어느 정도의 객관성과 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있다. 본 논문이 모든 기록물관리기관에서 모범적으로 참고할만한 보존가치 평가 방안을 제시할 수는 없다. 그러나 평가이론과 법적 테두리 속에서 다양한 평가 요소를 계량화하고 객관성을 확보하려는 시도를 통해 기록물관리기관에서 당면하고 있는 적체된 보존기간 경과 기록에 대한 평가 업무를 활성하고 후속연구와 평가론 진화의 단초를 제시하고자 하였다.
