Digital imaging technology has developed into a state-of-the-art IT convergence, composite industry beyond the limits of the multimedia industry, especially in the field of smart object recognition, face - Application developed various techniques have been actively studied in conjunction with the phone. Recently, face recognition technology through the object recognition technology and evolved into intelligent video detection recognition technology, image recognition technology object detection recognition process applies to skills through is applied to the IP camera, the image object recognition technology with face recognition and active research have. In this paper, we first propose the necessary technical elements of the human factor technology trends and look at the human object recognition based spFACS (Smile Progress Facial Action Coding System) for detecting smiles study plan of the image recognition technology recognizes objects. Study scheme 1). ASM algorithm. By suggesting ways to effectively evaluate psychological research skills through the image object 2). By applying the result via the face recognition object to the tooth area it is detected in accordance with the recognized facial expression recognition of a person demonstrated the effect of extracting the feature points.
In this paper, We propose reasoning system for object recognition and space classification using not only visual features but also contextual information. It is necessary to perceive object and classify space in real environments for mobile robot. especially vision based. Several visual features such as texture, SIFT. color are used for object recognition. Because of sensor uncertainty and object occlusion. there are many difficulties in vision-based perception. To show the validities of our reasoning system. experimental results will be illustrated. where object and space are inferred by bi -directional rules even with partial and uncertain information. And the system is combined with top-down and bottom-up approach.

In this paper, we propose a new opto-digital object recognition system which has rotation, scale, and shift invariant characteristics. The fourier power spectrum of the object image is modified to get shift invariance. The log-polar transform is used for rotation and scale invariance. And the decision of similarities is performed by nonlinear joint transform correlator (NJTC) that can control the ratio of phase and amplitude signals. Experimental verification of th eproposed optical object recognition system is presented.

In this study, system of object recognition independent of translation and rotation using ultrasonic sensor and neural network is presented. The object recognition rate is 92.3[%] in spite of changing output neuron space size of SOFM neural network from$4\times4 to10\times10$and iteration from 10 to 50. The experimental results show that the proposed system of object recognition can be applied to the object recognition field of intelligent robot.
In this paper the object recognition performance of a photon counting integral imaging system is quantitatively compared with that of a conventional gray scale imaging system. For 3D imaging of objects with a small number of photons, the elemental image set of a 3D scene is obtained using the integral imaging set up. We assume that the elemental image detection follows a Poisson distribution. Computational geometrical ray back propagation algorithm and parametric maximum likelihood estimator are applied to the photon counting elemental image set in order to reconstruct the original 3D scene. To evaluate the photon counting object recognition performance, the normalized correlation peaks between the reconstructed 3D scenes are calculated for the varied and fixed total number of photons in the reconstructed sectional image changing the total number of image channels in the integral imaging system. It is quantitatively illustrated that the recognition performance of the photon counting integral imaging system can be similar to that of a conventional gray scale imaging system as the number of image viewing channels in the photon counting integral imaging (PCII) system is increased up to the threshold point. Also, we present experiments to find the threshold point on the total number of image channels in the PCII system which can guarantee a comparable recognition performance with a gray scale imaging system. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on comparisons of object recognition performance with 3D photon counting & gray scale images.

There have been a lot of researches on object recognition in computer vision. The SURF(Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithm based on feature detection is faster and more accurate than others. However, this algorithm has a shortcoming of making an error due to feature point mismatching when extracting feature points. In order to increase a success rate of object recognition, we have created an object recognition system based on SURF and RANSAC(Random Sample Consensus) algorithm and proposed the pattern recognition filtering. We have also presented experiment results relating to enhanced the success rate of object recognition.

As the 4th industry has been widely distributed, there is a need for a process of real-time image recognition in various fields such as identification of company employees, security maintenance, and development of military weapons. Therefore, in this paper, we will propose an algorithm that effectively recognizes a test object by comparing it with the DB model. The proposed object recognition system first expresses the outline of the test object as a set of vertices with the distances of predefined length or more. Then, the degree of matching of the structures of the two objects is calculated by examining the distances to the outline of the DB model from the vertices constituting the test object. Because the proposed recognition algorithm uses the outline of the object, the recognition process is easy to understand, simple to implement, and a satisfactory recognition result is obtained.

Recent some SoC FPGA Releases that integrate ARM processor and FPGA fabric show better performance compared to the ASIC SoC used in typical embedded image processing system. In this study, using the above advantages, we implement a SoC FPGA-based Real-Time Object Recognition and Tracking System. In our system, the video input and output, image preprocessing process, and background subtraction processing were implemented in FPGA logics. And the object recognition and tracking processes were implemented in ARM processor-based programs. Our system provides the processing performance of 5.3 fps for the SVGA video input. This is about 79 times faster processing power than software approach based on the Nios II Soft-core processor, and about 4 times faster than approach based the HPS processor. Consequently, if the object recognition and tracking system takes a design structure combined with the FPGA logic and HPS processor-based processes of recent SoC FPGA Releases, then the real-time processing is possible because the processing speed is improved than the system that be handled only by the software approach.

Recently, the demand to interpret image data with artificial intelligence in various fields is rapidly increasing. Object recognition and detection techniques using deep learning are mainly used, and video integration analysis to determine unstructured object recognition is a particularly important problem. In the case of natural disasters or social disasters, there is a limit to the object recognition structure alone because it has an unstructured shape. In this paper, we propose intelligent video integration analysis system that can recognize unstructured objects based on video turning point and object detection. We also introduce a method to apply and evaluate object recognition using virtual augmented images from 2D to 3D through GAN.
This paper presents a 3D object recognition method for generation of 3D environmental map or obstacle recognition of mobile robots. An active light source projects a stripe pattern of light onto the object surface, while the camera observes the projected pattern from its offset point. The system consists of a laser unit and a camera on a pan/tilt device. The line segment in 2D camera image implies an object surface plane. The scaling, filtering, edge extraction, object extraction and line thinning are used for the enhancement of the light stripe image. We can get faithful depth informations of the object surface from the line segment interpretation. The performance of the proposed method has demonstrated in detail through the experiments for varies type objects. Experimental results show that the method has a good position accuracy, effectively eliminates optical noises in the image, greatly reduces memory requirement, and also greatly cut down the image processing time for the 3D object recognition compared to the conventional object recognition.
