A Study on the Trend of Korean Pop Music Preference Through Digital Music Market (디지털 음악 시장을 통해 본 한국 대중가요 선호경향에 관한 연구)

  • Recently the domestic popular song market has been growing mainly in digital sound sources. As a result of analyzing the top 100 music charts from 2012 to 2016 through digital sound sources and musical scores, the average annual BPM has fallen by 11.26 over five years. Every year, The style of music has diversified every year, and the proportion of Hip-hop has doubled from 8.5% in 2012 to 17.8% in 2015. Dance music and ballads have a high preference rate, but the relationship is inversely proportional. Singer composition was inversely proportional to the ratio of female solo to male group. Especially, the relationship between BPM and the Major/Minor key is that 81.42% for slow tempo songs is Major key and 53.85% for fast tempo songs is minor key. In the case of TV drama OST, the solo singer 's music was preferred, the music style was 80% pop and 20% ballad.

Near-Infrared Spectral Characteristics in Presence of Sun Glint Using CASI-1500 Data in Shallow Waters

  • Sun glint correction methods of hyperspectral data that have been developed so far have not considered the various situations and are often adequate for only certain conditions. Also there is an inaccurate assumption that the signal in NIR wavelength is zero. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the NIR spectral properties of sun glint effect in coastal waters. For the analysis, CASI-1500 airborne hyperspectral data, bathymetry data and in-situ data obtained at coastal area near Sin-Cheon, Jeju Island, South Korea were used. The spectral characteristics of radiance and reflectance at the five NIR wavelengths (744 nm, 758 nm, 772 nm, 786 nm, and 801 nm) are analyzed by using various statistics, spatial and spectral variation of sun-glinted area under conditions of the bottom types of benthos, barren rocks and sand with similar water depth. Through the quantitative analysis, we found that the relation of water depth or bottom type with sun glint is relatively less which is a similar result with the previous studies. However the sun glint are distributed similarly with the patterns of the direction of wave propagation. It is confirmed that the areas with changed direction of wave propagation were not affected by the sun glint. The spatial and spectral variations of radiance and reflectance are mainly caused by the effect of sun glint and waves. The radiance or reflectance of more sun-glinted areas are increased approximately 1.5 times and the standard deviations are also increased three times compared to the less sun glinted areas. Through this study, the further studies of sun glint correction method in coastal water using the patterns of wave propagation and diffraction will be placed.

Effects of Antioxidant Tempol on Systematic Inflammation and Endothelial Apoptosis in Emphysematous Rats Exposed to Intermittent Hypoxia

  • Purpose: Obstructive sleep apnea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are independent risk factors of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and their coexistence is known as overlap syndrome (OS). Endothelial dysfunction is the initial stage of CVD; however, underlying mechanisms linking OS and CVD are not well understood. The aim of this study was to explore whether OS can lead to more severe inflammation and endothelial apoptosis by promoting endothelial dysfunction, and to assess the intervention effects of antioxidant tempol. Materials and Methods: Male Wistar rats (n=66) were exposed to normal oxygen [normal control (NC) group], intermittent hypoxia (IH group), cigarette smoke (CH group), as well as cigarette smoke and IH (OS group). Tempol intervention was assessed in OS group treated with tempol (OST group) or NaCl (OSN group). After an 8-week challenge, lung tissues, serum, and fresh blood were harvested for analysis of endothelial markers and apoptosis. Results: The levels of intracellular adhesion molecule-1, vascular cellular adhesion molecule-1, and apoptosis in circulating epithelial cells were the highest in OS group and the lowest in NC group. These levels were all greater in IH group than in CH group, and were lower in OST group than in OS and OSN groups (all p<0.001). Conclusion: Synergistic effects of IH with cigarette smoke-induced emphysema produce a greater inflammatory status and endothelial apoptosis. OS-related inflammation and endothelial cell apoptosis may play important roles in promoting cardiovascular dysfunction, and antioxidant tempol could achieve a partial protective effect.

Automated Classification of PubMed Texts for Disambiguated Annotation Using Text and Data Mining

  • Recently, as the size of genetic knowledge grows faster, automated analysis and systemization into high-throughput database has become hot issue. One essential task is to recognize and identify genomic entities and discover their relations. However, ambiguity of name entities is a serious problem because of their multiplicity of meanings and types. So far, many effective techniques have been proposed to analyze documents. Yet, accuracy is high when the data fits the model well. The purpose of this paper is to design and implement a document classification system for identifying entity problems using text/data mining combination, supplemented by rich data mining algorithms to enhance its performance. we propose RTP ost system of different style from any traditional method, which takes fault tolerant system approach and data mining strategy. This feedback cycle can enhance the performance of the text mining in terms of accuracy. We experimented our system for classifying RB-related documents on PubMed abstracts to verify the feasibility.

  • 본 논문에서는 내용 기반 음악 정보 검색에 음악의 temporal 특징을 이용한 검색 방법을 제안한다. 방송환경에 적용하기 위해 검색 범위를 드라마나 영화의 배경 음악으로 사용되는 OST 앨범으로 제한하였다. 오디오의 특징 벡터로써 UFCC(Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient)를 사용하였으며 이 특징 벡터를 이용하여 VQ(Vector Quantization)로 부호화한 codeword로 오디오 신호의 시변 특성을 표현한다. 본 논문에서는 제안한 음악의 temporal 특성을 반영한 codeword-sequence를 이용하는 방법을 pitch-histogram을 기반으로 하는 방법 및 MFCC codeword-histogram을 기반으로 하는 방법과 비교하고 성능 개선을 보여주었다.

  • 영화 "본 투 비 블루 (Born to be blue, 2015)"는 재즈 애호가였던 로버트 뷔드로 감독이 재즈음악가 쳇 베이커의 청춘을 다양한 모습으로 그린 영화이다. "Born to be blue"의 OST에는 쳇 베이커의 곡을 포함한 기존에 대중에게 알려진 재즈 음악이 다수 수록되어 있다. 하지만 원곡 그대로 영화에 쓰인 것이 아니라 영화배우의 보컬로 다시 녹음되고, 장면에 어울리게 원곡이 편곡되어 영화와 조화롭게 사용되었다. 그 중 특히 마지막 장면에서 엔딩 크레디트로 연결되며 사용된 곡 "Born to be blue"는 원곡과 큰 차이점을 보여주는 편곡을 보이며 곡에 중요한 의미를 부여하고 있다. 영화의 장면 속에서 갖는 곡의 의미와 편곡을 분석한다.

UV/ozone Cleaning Processes for Organic Films on Si Studied by in-line XPS and AFM (in-line XPS와 AFM을 이용한 유기물의 UV/ozone 건식세정과정 연구)

  • 본 실험에서는 실리콘 웨이퍼 위에 photoresist(PR)와 octadecyltrichlorosilane(OST, CH3((CH2)17SiCI3)를 입혀서 UV/zone 처리를 어떻게 유기물질들이 UV/zone과 반응하여, 어떻게 표면에서 제거되는지를 in-line으로 연결된 XPS로 분석하고 반응시킨 표면들의 거칠기(roughness)를 AFM을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 실험결과 상온에서 UV/zone 처리를 했을 경우, PR과 OTS같은 유기물질이 표면에서 산화되는 것을 알 수 있었으나 이들이 제거되지 않고 표면에 그대로 남아있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 가열하면서(PR:$250^{\circ}C$, ORS:$100^{\circ}C$)UV/ozone 처리를 하였을 경우 표면에서 산화됨과 동시에 이들 산화물들이 표면에서 제거됨을 알 수 있었다. XPS 분석으로부터 이들의 산화반응물은 PR과 OTS 모두 -CH2-, -CH2O-, =C=O, -COO-를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 열에너지에 의해서 이들이 표면에서 제거되는 것으로 나타났다. AFM 분석결과는 상온에서 UV/ozone 처리를 하였을 경우에 표면의 거칠기가 적은 반면, 가열하면서 UV/o-zone처리를 하였을 경우에는 표면의 거칠기가 다소 증가하였다.

  • In this study the real situation of apartment house in seoul is reproduced with multi-zone modeling program contam2.4. This model include immune building system(disinfection system) which is consist of dilution, Filter Technology and UVGI(ultra violet germicidal irrdiation). In this study experiments design method used for estimating interaction of HRV air change rate, UVGI air change rate and UVGI grade. Result show that HRV air change rate and UVGI air change rate is most influence factor for remove rate. also Interaction of HRV air change rate and UVGI air change rate is ost influence factor for remove rate.
