  • In this paper, we developed a Widows 98 version off-line programming system which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. The track vehicle was adopted as an objective model. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Widows 98's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

GPU 기반 행렬 곱셈 병렬처리 알고리즘 (Parallel Algorithm for Matrix-Matrix Multiplication on the GPU)

  • Matrix multiplication is a fundamental mathematical operation that has numerous applications across most scientific fields. In this paper, we presents a parallel GPU computation algorithm for dense matrix-matrix multiplication using OpenGL compute shader, which can play a very important role as a fundamental building block for many high-performance computing applications. Experimental results on NVIDIA Quad 4000 show that the proposed algorithm runs about 208 times faster than previous CPU algorithm and achieves performance of 75 GFLOPS in single precision for dense matrices with matrix size 4,096. Such performance proves that our algorithm is practical for real applications.

3D 가상도시 구축을 위한 건물 텍스쳐 이미지의 왜곡보정 (Adjustment of texture image for construction of a 3D virtual city)

  • 3D 가상도시 구축에 있어 사용자로 하여금 공간 객체 중심으로 지형 지물을 인식할 수 있게 해 줄 수 있는 요소로서 Texture Image를 들 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지틀 카메라를 통하여 건물 측면 Texture Image를 획득하고 이렇게 획득한 이미지가 가지고 있는 왜곡을 2D Projective Transformation방법을 사용하여 보정하였다. 보정이 끝난 Texture Image는 OpenGL을 이용하여 3D 건물 모델에 Mapping을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발한 응용 프로그램은 가상도시를 구축하는 과정상에 자동화된 방법을 제공할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 항공기의 비행정보를 효과적으로 시각화하기 위하여 Google Earth를 이용한 시스템 구현에 대해 기술한다. 이 시스템은 Google Earth 에서 제공하는 상세한 위성 영상 정보를 이용하기 위하여 COM API 를 이용하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 항공기의 다양한 장치에서 얻어진 비행정보를 OpenGL을 이용하여 각종 계기판에 표시하고 실제 비행모습을 가시화하기 위하여 Google Earth Map에 연동하여 표시하였다. 본 연구결과는 비행평가 및 개선에 이용될 수 있고 향후, 비행소프트웨어 개발에 적용될 수 있다.

  • This paper presents a task teaching method for off-line programming of a multi-robot system. Teaching commands were developed in order to simplify a complex teaching process, to shorten the setup time for new working environment and to have flexibility for changes in working environment. Four teaching commands can be used to automatically generate trajectories of an end-effector of the robot in electronics assembly line. The robots used in the work cell are a four-axis SCARA robot and six-axis articulated robot. Each robot is controlled in a independent way while objects, working environment and robots are modeled in corresponding modules, respectively. The off- line programming system developed uses OpenGL for a smooth graphic effect in Window s where three dimensional CAD data can be leaded for graphical modeling.
