  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of nursing emotional labor, role conflict, and reciprocity on turnover intention in comprehensive nursing care wards nurses. 209 nurses working in comprehensive nursing care wards across 13 hospitals in G and M city participated in this study. Data were analyzed descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. As a result, the research model explained 52.9%(F=14.458, p<.001) of intention to turnover. The most significant factor affecting turnover intention was emotional labor(β=.311), followed by reciprocity and role conflict. Therefore, it is necessary to devices and guidelines to protect nurses who encounter various situations in the process of emotional labor, and to implement a human resource management system that can maintain friendly and equal relationships.

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the shear bond strength between various commercial zirconia coping and veneering ceramic, and to observe the failure mode. Methods: For each zirconia block (iJAM Emerald, LUXEN Smile block, ICE Zirkon transluzent), 10 rectangular specimens were layered with Cercon ceram kiss, IPS e.max ceram, ICE Zirkon ceramic according to recommended by the manufacturer. The shear bond strength tests of the veneering porcelain to zirconia were carried out until fracture by a universal testing machine. After the shear bond tests, failure modes were characterized visually, under a stereomicroscope, such as adhesive, cohesive, or mixed. Data were analyzed with One-way ANOVA followed by Scheffe's tests. Results: The shear bond strength ($mean{\pm}SD$) of zirconia-veneer ceramic were JC group $13.9{\pm}3.6MPa$; JE group $17.7{\pm}2.4MPa$; JI group $15.1{\pm}2.5MPa$; LC group $9.5{\pm}1.5MPa$; LE group $16.2{\pm}2.3MPa$; LI group $12.6{\pm}0.8MPa$; ZC group $16.0{\pm}2.3MPa$; ZE group $18.5{\pm}3.4MPa$; and ZI group $15.3{\pm}3.2MPa$. The One-way ANOVA showed a significant difference between groups (p<0.05). The failure mode in most experimental groups was mixed failure, except for the LC group, which showed adhesive failure, and JE group, LE group and ZE group showed cohesive failure. Conclusion: For IPS e.max ceram, the shear bond strength value was highest for all kinds of zirconia blocks. For ICE Zirkon transluzent, the shear bond strength value was highest for all kinds of veneering ceramics. Most of experimental group interfaces revealed mixed failure mode.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between intention to participation in sharing economy, digital cultural capital, and social connectedness and then analyze the variables affecting the intention to participate in sharing economy. This subjects were university students. Collected data were statistically processed by PASW 18.0 program using reliability, frequency analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, redistribution participation and cooperative lifestyle participation were relatively high. Second, intention to participate in sharing economy activities differs according to gender, age, monthly allowance, and SNS usage time. Third, intention to redistribution participation increases as the recognition of objectified digital culture capital, embodied digital culture capital, and social connectedness increases. And the intention to cooperative lifestyles participation and information sharing participation increased as digital culture capital increased. Forth, the most significant variable affecting the intention to participate in sharing economic activities was digital cultural capital.

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the relationships between emotional intelligence and college adjustment and nursing professionalism in nursing college students. The study participants were 172 nursing students of a university in Chungnam province. Data were collected by a self-administered questionnaire from December 1 to 20, 2015. Collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 20.0 program with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe test. The level of the emotional intelligence, college adjustment, and nursing professionalism were not high, and the emotional intelligence of nursing students had positive correlation with college adjustment(r=.448, p<.001)and nursing professionalism(r=.376, p<.001). These results suggest that nursing interventions to improve the emotional intelligence of nursing students should be developed and applied for improvement of college adjustment and nursing professionalism.

  • This study was conducted to examinate the mediating effect of clinical competence on the relationship between grit and retention intention among new graduate nurses. Participants were 232 nurses working at hospitals with over 300 beds in Korea. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression following the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test for mediation. As a result, There were significant relationships between grit and clinical competence(r=.38, p=.011), grit and retention intention(r=.32, p=.016), and clinical competence and retention intention(r=.33, p<.001). Clinical competence showed partial mediating effect in the relationship between grit and retention intention(z=3.14, p<.001). The results of this study suggest that interventions enhancing grit would be useful to improve retention intention of new graduate nurses.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore convergence on the theory of unpleasant symptom, and factors affecting quality of life of liver cirrhosis patients. A total of 198 liver cirrhosis patients were recruited symptom experiences, physiologic factors, psychological factors, situational factors, and quality of life. Data were collected from March, to May, 2014 and analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlations, multiple regressions analysis with PASW (SPSS) 21.0. Variables such as duration of liver cirrhosis(${\beta}=.19$, p<.001), symptom experiences(${\beta}=.19$, p=.032), physical(${\beta}=.15$, p=.008), psychological(${\beta}=.39$, p<.001) and situational factors(${\beta}=.32$, p<.001) explained 51.8% of variance in quality of life(F=15.57, p<.001). The symptom experiences, physiological, psychological and situational factors should be considered for caring liver cirrhosis patients. Symptoms of postmyocardial infarction (post-MI) patients at risk for progression to heart.

  • This study induced ecological and cultural regeneration factors which can be introduced in island regions. And then, survey on recognition on importance was carried out with experts group. First of all, based on status and development trend of islands, farming and fishing village, ecological and marine city, eco-cultural regeneration factors fit to islands area were induced. Ecological regeneration factors were classified to land use, transportation system, buildings, and resources cycle. While cultural regeneration factors were classified to preservation, making tourism resources, and base facilities. This study compared recognition on importance by field such as occupation and major field. One-way ANOVA was used. As a result, this study compared recognition on importance about eco-cultural regeneration factors in island regions and suggested future direction.

  • This study examined the influence of patient safety culture and safety care activities of general hospital nurses. The participants were 178 nurses working in a hospital in D and G cities. Data were collected from June to July, 2015 through Questionnaires that included the Measure of Patient Safety Culture by Kim et al.(2007), and the Measure of Safety Care Activities by Lee(2009). The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise Multiple regression. A statistically significant positive relationship was observed between the nurses perception of the patient safety culture and their safety care activities (r=.407, p<.001). The findings show the patient safety culture accounted for 43.3% of the variance in the safety care activities for hospital nurses followed by the importance of hospital work environment among nurses to improve the safety care activities. These findings highlight the need to develop effective programs to improve the perception of patient safety culture and safety nursing guideline.
