  • one of the problems the users of DPS-6/45 used to face in the course of having access to work stations was that a telephone call has to be made manually every time to have receiver's modem on or off, and naturally it meant the waste of manpower as well as of time.   • This research focuses onan efficient control method of temperature for multiple points using only one processor. For a yarn production system, the surface temperature control of heaters are very important for quality control. Therefore, we designed a temperature controller for a draw and twist machine and applied Fuzzy-PWM algorithm to the controller. If we use a processor for the temperature control of multiple points with the conventional ON/OFF control, the control performance of the system becomes poor. To overcome these problems, we developed a new Fuzzy-PWM algorithm for the adjustment of power rate to the heaters in the conventional ON/OFF control. It is shown that this algorithm has the same effects as the PID algorithm for the temperature control of each point. The proposed algorithm is robust against the production condition and environment such as the reference temperature and the thickness of yarn, since the power rate to the heater is adjusted by Fuzzy Rules derived from the values of the reference termperatureand the thickness of yarn. To obtain optimal Fuzzy rulees, the control simulations are perfodrmed through the modelling of the heater and simulation of Fuzzy rules. This algorithm is applied for the multiple pont temperature controller and showed satisfactory performance.

  • 최근 네트워크회선 사용비용의 안정화로 인해 IP방송과 통신장비가 확대 보급되고 있으나, TV, DID와 같은 멀티미디어에는 고가의 네트워크 시스템을 이용한 통합관리 시스템을 사용하고 있지 않다. 제안된 멀티미디어 통합 TCU(terminal control unit)는 Wake-on-Lan을 셋탑박스에 탑재한 후에 기존 네트워크의 IP통신망을 사용하여 TV전원의 On/Off의 상태 확인 및 원격제어, 전원 제어 예약 기능(관제실 소프트웨어 지원), TV채널 변경, 다양한 인터페이스 입출력 AC전원 & Lan포트, RS-232C, IR등을 지원하는 제어기기로 기존에 저가의 제어기기로 사용되던 RF방식과는 다르게 24시간 감시 및 제어할 수 있다. 높은 가격과 확장성이 전무한 기존 제어장비에서 24시간 모니터링 기능과 자동제어 시스템 지원과 저가격인 TCU(Termial Control Unit)의 개발은 폭넓은 사용처를 확보할 것으로 예상된다.

  • BIM technologies store, share and integrate the information produced in each sector of the construction industry. From this point on, it increases the efficiency of the work. Currently, quantity take-off and process schedule are derived separately based on BIM technology. When calculating the quantity by process, relevant information shall be collected, reinterpreted, and reevaluated as required by the practice. The purpose of this study is to develop an integrated process and quantity management system through BIM collaboration and to build prototypes for steel structures. The main research is to build a construction BIM model for steel structures and a process BIM model through BIM collaboration. Furthermore, necessary information was selected and processed according to the user's needs for integrated management. Relevant integration outcomes are visualized graphically to maximize utilization. Through these studies, a system for integrated control of processes and supplies is provided, and the results are expected to contribute to the improvement of working efficiency and are easily and quickly reflected in design change and process change. In this study, we intended to enhance the usability of information by linking process schedules with quantity calculations based on BIM. Thus, the process for integrated control of the quantity of structural components by process unit and the BIM based schedule information was established. In addition, the efficiency of the information link of the integrated management system was considered for design changes and process schedule changes.

  • The position control of a pneumatic cylinder suing low cost on-off valves is studied. The valve control band(VCB) was proposed toget fast response and toprevent solenoid valves from unnecessary switching at the beginning of response. A learning algorithm was used to compensate the nonlinearity and complexity in mathematical modelling of pheumatic on-off controlled positioning systems. In this algorithm, the desired performance index and modified learning rate, were proposed to improvespeed and convergence of learning control. It is shown experimentally that the proposed algorithm is robust to changes of system parameters: the setting time less than 1.0 sec and the error bound of .+-. 0.1 mm can be obtained. The effects of supply pressure, size of switching valves and the effect of multiple valves are discussed, and computer simulation onthe dynamic performances of the pneumatic system is also presented.

  • The full results of troubleshooting process related to the flight control system of a tilt-rotor type UAV in the flight tests are described. Flight tests were conducted in helicopter, conversion, and airplane modes. The vehicle was flown using automatic functions, which include speed-hold, altitude-hold, heading-hold, guidance modes, as well as automatic take-off and landing. Many unexpected problems occurred during the envelope expansion tests which were mostly under those automatic functions. The anomalies in helicopter mode include vortex ring state (VRS), long delay in the automatic take-off, and the initial overshoot in the automatic landing. In contrast, the anomalies in conversion mode are untrimmed AOS oscillation and the calibration errors of the air data sensors. The problems of low damping in rotor speed and roll rate responses are found in airplane mode. Once all of the known problems had been solved, the vehicle in airplane mode gradually reached the maximum design speed of 440km/h at the operation altitude of 3km. This paper also presents a comprehensive detailing of the control systems of the tilt-rotor unmanned air vehicle (UAV).

  • 최근 항공교통량의 증가에 따라 효율적인 항공교통관제를 위한 자동화가 요구되고 있다. 항공교통 환경은 일반 교통 환경과는 다르게 공역내의 섹터에 대한 항공기를 제어하는 관제사가 존재하며, 타 섹터로 이동시에는 해당 항공기에 대해 수동으로 관제권을 이양하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 효율적인 항공관제를 위하여 항공기의 흐름을 유연하게 하기 위한 자동 관제권 이양 알고리즘 기법을 연구하였다. 항공기가 섹터 내에서 다른 섹터로 진입을 할 때, 이를 감지하여 해당 섹터 관제사가 관제 권한을 부여 받을 수 있도록 하는 섹터 판별 알고리즘을 구현 하였다 성능평가 결과 기존의 단순한 수동관제 이양방식과 달리 제안된 알고리즘은 자동으로 관제권을 이양하도록 함으로써 효율적으로 항공교통관제를 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Filtered Velocity Feedback 제어기를 이용한 양단지지보의 능동진동제어 (Active Vibration Control of Clamped Beams Using Filtered Velocity Feedback Controllers)

  • This paper reports a filtered velocity feedback(FVF) controller, which is an alternative to direct velocity feedback(DVFB) controller. The instability problems due to high frequency response under DVFB can be alleviated by the suggested FVF controller. The FVF controller is designed to filter out the unstable high frequency response. The FVF controller and the dynamics of clamped beams under forces and moments are first formulated. The effects of the design parameters(cut-off frequency, gain, and damping ratio) on the stability and the performance are then investigated. The cut-off frequency should be selected not to affect the system stability. The magnitude of the open loop transfer function(OLTF) at the cut-off frequency should be small. As increasing the gain of the FVF controller, the magnitude of the OLTF is increased, so that the closed loop response can be reduced more. The enhancement of the OLTF at the cut-off frequency is reduced but the phase behavior around the cut-off frequency is distorted, as the damping ratio is increased. The control performance is finally estimated for the clamped beam. More than 10 dB reductions in velocity response can be achieved at the modal frequencies from the first to eighth modes.
