90 Cases of diabetics who came to department of internal medicine and dental clinic, National Medical Center, and 90 Cases of patients who came to dental clinic without general symptom were examined with oral examination and intra-oral x-ray study, from May, 1975 to Oct. , 1975. The obtained results were as follow : In the diabetics, gingval inflammaory changes, alveolar bone resorption and tiih mobility were more severe than nondiabetics who had similar local initants in the oral cavities.

The studies on the carotenoids in the viscera the brine shrimp(Penaeus Orientalis Kishinouye) have been carried out. The brine shrimps were caught around the western coastal area of Korea from Aug. to Oct. The individual carotenoids in the acetone extracts were separated and purified by the silica gel TLC. Two isolated carotenoids were investigated and identified by epoxide test, partition test, alkaline hydrolysis, reduction with sodium borohydride and visible absorption spectrophqtometry. As the results of the series of experiments, esterified Astaxanthin was discovered as one of main pigments of Penaeus Orientalis Kishinouye.

Between Jan. and Oct. 1978, mitral valve Replacement had been performed on eight patients using porcine aortic valve mounted on flexible polypropylene or Egyloil wire and Dacron covered stent. Mitral valve replacement was performed on five, mitral valve replacement with tricuspid valve replacement on two, and mitral valve replacement with tricuspid valve annuloplasty on 1 patient using five Carpentier and five Hancock Xenograft. Overall operative deaths were 2 cases. All other 6 cases did well after surgery and improved. No systemic thromboembolism occurred without anticoagulant-No valve failure took place. The results are satisfactory.

On the basis of KTMPO visibility data measured for 17 years(Jan.1983 to Oct.1999), time-series data analysis is accomplished for regression trend, cyclical periodicity, dependency of these data in this paper. After that, to predict visibility in KIMPO international airport a probability model is presented using this statistic probability characteristics.

최근 수년간 polarimetry, Raman spectroscopy, near infrared (NIR) absorption spectroscopy, NIR scattering, optoacoustics 등의 방법을 통하여 비침습적으로 Glucose의 농도를 측정하려는 연구가 많이 시도되었다. 일반적으로 이들 방법은 sensitivity 와 signal-to-noise ratio가 매우 낮고 복잡한 알고리즘이 요구되어져 glucose 농도 측정에 한계가 있음이 드러났다. 본 연구에서는 polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT)에 사용되는 polarization sensitive low coherence inter-ferometer (PS-LCI) 기법을 이용하여 비침습적으로 glucose의 농도 측정을 가능하게 하는 시스템 개발에 중점을 두었다. We present the preliminary results from 86 GHz GMVA observations on 2 AGN - 0954+658 and 0716+714. The observation was taken with the Global mm-VLBI Array in Oct. 2010, with dual polarization mode. The aim of the observation is to produce the polarization maps of the sources, with the Stokes parameters - I, Q, U and V. The final results will be used for estimating the strength of the intrinsic magnetic field and the geometries of AGN jets.
