This study examined the treatment characteristics of hard-to-degrade pollutants such as TCE which are found in organic solvent and cleaning wastewater by nZVI that have excellent oxidation and reduction characteristics. In addition, this study tried to find out the degradation characteristics of TCE by Fenton-like process, in which $H_2O_2$ is dosed additionally. In this study, different ratios of nZVI and $H_2O_2$, such as 1.0 mM : 0.5 mM, 1.0 mM : 1.0 mM, and 1.0 mM : 2.0 mM were used. When 1.0 mM of nZVI was dosed with 1.0 mM of $H_2O_2$, the removal efficiency of TOC was the highest and the first order rate constant was also the highest. When 1mM of nZVI was dosed with 0.5 mM of $H_2O_2$, the first order rate constant and removal efficiency were the lowest. The size of first order rate constant and removal efficiency was in the order of nZVI 1.0 mM : $H_2O_2$ 1.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM : $H_2O_2$ 2.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM : $H_2O_2$ 0.5 mM > $H_2O_2$ 1.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM. It is estimated that when 1.0 mM of nZVI is dosed with 1.0 mM of $H_2O_2$, $Fe^{2+}$ ion generated by nZVI and $H_2O_2$ react in the stoichiometric molar ratio of 1:1, thus the first order rate constant and removal efficiency are the highest. And when 1.0 mM of nZVI is dosed with 2.0 mM of $H_2O_2$, excessive $H_2O_2$ work as a scavenger of OH radicals and excessive $H_2O_2$ reduce $Fe^{3+}$ into $Fe^{2+}$. As for the removal efficiency of TOC in TCE by simultaneous dose and sequential dose of nZVI and $H_2O_2$, sequential dose showed higher first order reaction rate and removal efficiency than simultaneous dose. It is estimated that when nZVI is dosed 30 minutes in advance, pre-treatment occurs and nanoscale $Fe^0$ is oxidized to $Fe^{2+}$ and TCE is pre-reduced and becomes easier to degrade. When $H_2O_2$ is dosed at this time, OH radicals are generated and degrade TCE actively.
Hexagonal barium-ferrite ($BaFe_{12}O_{19}$, magnetoplumbite structure; BaM) film with perpendicularly c-axis orientation was successfully deposited on (100) silicon substrates with an MgO (111) underlayer by rf diode sputtering and in-situ heating at $920^{\circ}C$. The magnetic and structural properties of 0.27 ${\mu}m$ thick BaM films on MgO (111) underlayers were compared to films of the same thickness deposited onto single-crystal MgO (111) and c-plane ($000{\ell}$) sapphire ($Al_2O_3$) substrates by vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), x-ray diffractometer (XRD), and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The thickness dependence of MgO (111) underlayers on silicon wafer was found to have a large effect on both magnetic and structural properties of the BaM film. The thickness of 15 nm MgO (111) underlayers produced BaM films with almost identical magnetic and structural properties as the single-crystal substrates; this can be explained by the lower surface roughness for thinner underlayer thicknesses. The magnetization saturation ($M_s$) and the ratio $H_{cII}/H_{c{\bot}}$ for the BaM film with a 15 nm MgO (111) underlayer is 217 emu/cc and 0.24, respectively. This is similar to the results for the BaM films deposited on the single-crystal MgO (111) and sapphire substrates of 197 emu/cc and 0.10, 200 emu/cc and 0.12, respectively. Therefore, the proposed MgO (111) underlayer can be used in many applications to promote c-axis orientation without the cost of expensive substrates.
Monodisperse, spherical $SiO_2/TiO_2$ composite fine powders were prepared by modified Sol-Gel process which $TiO_2$ fine Powders was used as a seed particles for condensation of TEOS (Tetraethyl Orthosilicate). The reaction was carried out under $N_2$ atmosphere at ambient temperature using $NH_3$ as a catalyst. Ethanol was used as a solvent. Drying process was carried out with vacuum trap which cooled by liquid $N_2$. The reaction variables were the concentration of TEOS, the concentration of ammonia, the size of $TiO_2$ seed and molar ratio of $SiO_2/TiO_2$. The optimum condition for the preparation of $SiO_2/TiO_2$ composite fine powders without agglomeration was [TEOS]=0.3M, [$NH_3$]=0.7M, size of $SiO_2/TiO_2$ seed = 200~300nm.
In this paper, the piezoelectric and dielectric properties of $Pb(Zr_xTi_{1-x)O_3$ - $Pb(Co_{1/3}Nb_{1/3})O_3)$ piezoelectric ceramics have been investigated as a function of Zr/Ti mole ratio. From the results, when Zr/Ti mole ratio is 49/51, electromechanical coupling coefficient($k_p$), piezoelectric strain constant($d_{33}$) mechanical quality factor($Q_m$), and Permittivity(${{\varepsilon}_{33}}^T/{\varepsilon}_0$) is 64[%], 469[PC/N], 360 and 2000, respectively. Morphotropic Phase Boundary is Zr/Ti mole ratio(49/51) from XRD analysis. Also. From SEM observation, when sintering temperature is 1150[$^{\circ}C$], grain size is about $1{\sim}2[{\mu}m]$ and maximum sintering density is 7.85[$g/cm^3$].
To understand the abnormal absorption behavior of rare earths in cation exchange resins, the absorption for Ce(III), Tb(III) and $Cl^-$ ions in Dowex 50W-X2 have been investigated by spectrophotometry in the concentration range of $1{\sim}12$ M HCI and $HCl-HClO_4$ mixed solutions. The amount of $Cl^-$ ion absorbed shows that the ratio of amount of $Cl^-$ ions to that of rare earths does not exceed 10% in the concentration range of $6{\sim}8M$ HCl and decreased gradually to 3% at 2M HCl and 6% at 12M HCl. The ratio is further decreased with the fraction of $HClO_4$ in $HCl-HClO_4$ mixed solutions and the decrease is presumably due to the weak tendency to form a complex between rare earths and $Cl^-$ ions in a cation exchange resin. The effect of $ClO_4^-$ is expected to play a more important role than that of $Cl^-$ ions in the large absorption of rare earths.
This test is verifying for influence of W/P ratio of investment upon dental prosthesis Firstly we made 40 MOD die and divide 4 groups, each group take 0.2 different w/p ratio grade such as 0.35, 0.37, 0.39 and 0.41. The method of data analysis applied were by ANOVA, Tukey test and Mann-Whiney and Kruskal Wallis test. The finding of this study were as follows : 1. The 0.37 w/p ratio group showed most accurte margin due to $15.8{\mu}m$ gap between margin and die which keep up with manufacture's instruction and 0.35 w/p ratio group was followed as second accuracy group o 새 $48.3{\mu}m$ gap between margin and die, 0.39 w/p ratio group showed $101{\mu}m$ gap and 0.41 w/p ratio group showed $129.8{\mu}m$ gap. 2. As to the relationship of the margin accuracy between 4 different grade of w/p ratio groups, each group was statistically significant(P<0.01). Also the all groups were statistically significant except between 0.35 and 0.37 groups between 0.39 and 0.41 groups, and between 0.35 and 0.39 groups. 3. A consequence of Mann-Whitney & Kruskal-Wallis test for marginal accuracy between 4 different grade of w/p ratio was statistically significant as same as above ANOVA test result. Also Tukey test for verifying similarity from each group showed same as above.

The piezoelectric material for piezoelectric transformer needs the high electromechanical coupling factor( $k_{p}$) the piezoelectric constant( $d_{33}$) and the mechanical quality factor( $Q_{m}$)in order to obtain high voltage step-up ratio and low temperature rising. In this study the piezoelectric transformers were fabricated using Pb[$Zr_{0.45}$/ $Ti_{0}$48//L $u_{0.02}$(M $n_{1}$3//S $b_{2}$3/)$_{0.05}$] $O_3$(PMS-PZT) and Pb[Z $r_{0.25}$/ $Ti_{0.375}$(M $g_{1}$3//N $b_{2}$3/)$_{0.375}$] $O_3$+0.5wt%Mn $O_2$(PMN-PZT) ceramics. The piezoelectric properties of PMS-PZT and PMN-PZT were measured. The voltage set-up ratios of the piezoelectric transformers using PMS-PZT and PMN-PZT were the value of 15, 20 respectively under 100$_{KΩ}$ in Rosen type transformer.r.ormer.r.r.r.r.r.r.

The reduction behavior of $Nb_2O_5$ in aluminum containing self-reducing briquettes(SRNB) was investigated. The time required for slag/metal equilibrium was estimated as about 20 minutes from the addition of SRNB on to the surface of molten steel. The maximum yield of Nb was expected with the slag composition of $60\%CaO-40\%Al_2O_3$. When $CaCO_3$ was used as a flux, the oxidation loss of Al by $CO_2$ should be compensated, and the chemical equivalent ratio of Al to $Nb_2O_5$ of about 1.43 was required to maximize the yield of Nb.
Composite ratio of $LiMn_2O_4$ in cathode was optimized as function of specific surface area. Binder has to be used as possible as little, and it should maintain adhesive property between cathode composite and current collector even though in electrolytes. For this purpose, We used 'Hot Roll Pressing' method, and it was effective. To prevent separation of cathode composite from current collector, PVDF(Polyvinylidenefluoride) has to be mixed more than $1.1\%$ in weight ratio to sum of surface area of lithium manganese oxide and conducting agents. Specific internal resistance was reduced as by increasing electrical conductivity of cathode. And Ratio of 2C rate discharge capacity to 0.2C rate discharge capacity was increased by $17\%$, as increasing electrical conductivity from 0.019 mS/cm to 0.036 mS/cm.

It was realized that MC-XRD is useful for phase analyzing of inclusions in crystals because it can focus the X-Ray beam to the small particles sized dozens of $\mu\textrm{m}$ with high S/N ratio. By using this MC-XRD, needle-like inclusions which are seen generally in corundum crystals known as rutile was found to be the iron titanium oxide and iron oxide which has the chemical composition of $Fe_2TiO_4,\; Fe_2TiO_5,\; Fe_2O_3$respectively
