This study has purpose to perform leaving the hospital nursing plan during hospital treatment of patient with the knee ligament Injury on the basis of the concerns between the time of leaving the hospital after 2 weeks in hospital and the concerns through practical life after leaving the hospital systematically. This study is also tried to make exercise plan to prevent atrophy of Quardriceps muscle of the thigh caused by the limitation of activities. The subjects of study are 12 people who were in the hospital in affiliation to a university in Seoul, were operated on the knee ligament, and were discharged from the hospital within 2 weeks. Data collection time was for about 4 months from December, 94 to March, 95. Research method was performed 2 times by unorganized open questions. The collection of first data is through direct interview about the concerns before leaving the hospital, and secondary data is through direct interview about the concerns by practical life and experiences after leaving the hospital. The data was categorized by classifying several common elements among similar contents according to data by the situational analysis of Giorgi. The result of this study is as follows : 1) The concerns before leaving the hospital are like that the concerns of recovery possibility, the limitation of activities, the grim realities of life, the lack of confidence about self-nursing, the eyes of the surroundings, the burden to the others, and so on. 2) The concerns after leaving the hospital are like that the demands of the inconvenience by the limitation of self-nursing, the support about self-nursing by the difficulties of performing treatment order, the support of physical activities limitation by physical tiredness and the limitation of social activities, the support of information by the necessities of education in using crutches before leaving the hospital and continuing informational needs, psychological and mental support of normal physical recovery by the worries of physical recovery and physical change, and social support by thankfulness for his family and relatives. I suggest to make more systematic leaving the hospital nursing plan and exercise education plan for nursing plan after leaving the hospital of the patients with the knee ligament injury on the basis of this content.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze various nursing services of delivery room nurses by hospital level, and identify importance and frequency to provide baseline data to establish delivery room nurses' roles. Methods: Through DACUM analysis technique, service descriptions, duties, and tasks were derived from the literature. A survey was done of 242 nurses from delivery rooms of hospitals, general hospitals, superior general hospitals, and special hospitals. Importance and frequency of each service were measured using a 4point scale, and results were analyzed using SPSS. Results: Nursing services for delivery room nurses consisted of 18 duties and 86 tasks. Duties with the highest importance were 'labor support' and 'infection management', and those with lowest importance were 'collaborative care' and 'communication'. The duty with the highest frequency was 'labor support', and lowest frequency was 'communication'. There were differences between importance and frequency depending on the size of hospitals. Conclusion: Results of this first study on nursing services of delivery room nurses. delivery room nurses are performing a wide range of nursing services and the various types are clarified including importance and frequency.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop a simulation-based High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training program based on NLN/ISF to identify the effect on knowledge, clinical performance, and educational satisfaction compared to a group who had traditional High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training after applying it to clinical nurses. Methods: 31 experimental groups and 33 control groups were conducted from August 2019 to September 2019 for inexperienced nurses over 4 months to 5 years with no experience using high-flow oxygen therapy. Educational programs were developed in scenarios according to Airvo2 and Optiflow, such as facilitator, participant, educational condition, design, characteristics, and educational outcomes. The education application was conducted in advanced for knowledge and clinical performance ability after watching therapy video. Since then, a total of 90 minutes have been conducted for respiratory failure theory training, airvo2 and optiflow simulation training, and debriefing. After applying the education, the medical institution measured nurses' knowledge, clinical performance, and education satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Both knowledge and educational satisfaction were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=-14.09, p<.001), (t=-12.99, p<.001). The clinical performance for both use of Optiflow and Airvo2 were higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=-11.39, p<.001), (t=-11.38, p<.001). Conclusion: Results showed that the simulation-based High Flow Nasal Cannula Oxygen Therapy training was effective with the experimental group having increased scores for every area of this study.
Background : In many Nursing Delivery System, Nursing Department at D Hospital had used to traditional nursing practice model what is called functional activities based system. It has a lot of merit that carried out specialized and rapid works but tend to ignore indivisual professional responsibility and task-based work assignments. In addition this system showed high turnover rates due to heavy workload, timesum of handing over duties, lack of support from peers and interstaff communication. Purpose: This study aimed to develop a bedside nursing shift report protocol and evaluate the effect of the protocol in a tertiary hospital in South Korea. Methods: The bedside nursing handoff protocol with patient engagement was developed based on the literature review and the validation of an expert group. The effect of the protocol on clinical implication was tested in three medical-surgical units in a tertiary hospital. Outcomes were assessed by patient perception, nurse perception, and reporting time. Data collected from June to August in 2018 and analyzed with descriptive statistics and One-way ANOVA using SPSS version 25.0. Results: The bedside nursing shift report protocol with patient engagement consisted of two steps: nurse to nurse report and bedside report with patients. Nurse's perception with patient engagement was significantly increased after applying protocol (F=17.85, p<.001). Patient's perception was significantly improved in the areas of discharge plan (F=7.86, p<.001), health information privacy (F=4.46, p=.012) and identify attending nurse (F=3.19, p=.042). There were no differences in reporting time between the bedside nursing shift report and a traditional shift report (F=0.61, p=.054). Conclusion: Patient perception was significantly increased, while nurse perception was not different after applying this protocol. For the change in the perception of nurses, education may be preceded to improve nurses' competence for the bedside shift report. Furthermore, the support in enough nurse staffing should be needed for encouraging the bedside shift report. The bedside shift report may enhance patient engagement. Therefore it may improve patient safety and health outcome in clinics.

Home nursing interventions based on nursing diagnosis were implemented to the patient who are discharged from one hospital often the treatment for chronic neuromuscular system problem, and its effects were studied. The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of hospital bouned home nursing provided by hospital nurses and to categorize home nursing diagnosis and its interventions. Data from experimental group patients were collected at three different time ; at the time of discharge, two weeks after discharge and our weeks after discharge. Data from controll group patients were collected twice ; the first one at the time of discharge, and the other one four weeks after discharge. For this study nursing assessment and intervention booklet developed by the research team. There were no significant decrease of the number of nursing problems and life satis-faction. But daily activity level of patients showed the signs of significant improvement at the time of four weeks after discharge. Results of this study indicates that home nursing intervention based on nursing diagnosis provided the patients with noticeable difference in health maintanance, impairment of physical mobility, potential for infection, impaired home marntenance management, health seeking behavior, chronic pain, disuse syndrome, impaired skin integrity.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to revise the KPCS-1 and to standardize the three patient classification systems for general ward, ICU and NICU. The actual utilization of the KPCS-1 score and each nursing activity was evaluated and the relationships between KPCS-1 score and nursing related variables were reviewed. Methods: The 47,711 KPCS-1 scores of 6,931 patients who discharged from $1^{st}$ to $30^{th}$ April 2017 were analyzed and the statistical significance between KPCS-1 score and nursing related variables was reviewed by Generalized Estimating Equation. The revision of the KPCS-1 was carried out by Partial Least Square model. The 3 patient classification systems (KPCS-1,KPCSC and KPCSN) were standardized by professional reviews. Results: KPCS-1 was a valid instrument to express nursing condition adequately and was revised as a new version which has 34 nursing activity items. The names and terminologies of pre-existing 3 patient classification systems developed by KHNA were standardized as KPCS-GW, KPCS-ICU, KPCS-NICU. Conclusion: KPCS-1 was a valid instrument to represent diverse nursing conditions precisely and was revised as a 34-item KPCS-GW. The terminologies of the other patient classification systems by KHNA were standardized as KPCS-ICU and KPCS-NICU.
Purpose: To identify user requirements for electronic nursing record (ENR) systems so as to ensure system usability. Methods: A mixed methods approach were applied in three steps : (i) task and workflow analysis with literature review of nursing documentation, (ii) literature reviews of system usability, and (iii) Use Case idenfication and consensus-based validation. We analyzed the nursing activity logs collected from a time-motion investigation of six hospitals. The Use Cases were validated by eight clinical experts from different hospitals and two experts from academia in a sequential Delphi survey. Consensus was achieved for the significance score and agreement among the panel. Results: Eight task groups and patterns of task flow were observed, which were translated into nine Use Cases. The specification of Use Cases was derived from principles, guidelines, and recommendations on nursing documentation and electronic health record systems, which was organized into three requirements of each Use Case: functionality, information, and design characteristics. Each Use Case achieved an agreement of 50~70%, and significance scores of 4 or 5 on a 5-point Likert scale. Conclusion: The nine Use Case identified were considered to be important and adequate in terms of both clinical and informatics contexts.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the actual utilization of clinical practice guidelines developed by Hospital Nurses Association. Methods: The subjects were 70 nurses who were in charge of guideline distributions in 70 advanced general hospital and general hospitals with 500 beds or more nationwide. Data were collected between June and August, 2020 by mail (return rate: 88.6%). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA with SPSS/WIN 24.0. Results: Among the clinical practice guidelines developed by Hospital Nurses Association, 72.9~90.1% were placed with book and electronic file in nursing department and 24.3~35.8% were placed with book and electronic file in each nursing unit at hospital. The average number of utilized clinical practice guidelines were 3.96±3.88, and average score of guideline utilization was score 2.85±0.79 which means 'use sometimes'. Conclusion: To improve the distribution and utilization of the clinical practice guidelines, it is necessary to enhance the recognition of values of evidence based nursing practice targeting head of nursing department and to stimulate the distribution and utilization of the clinical practice guidelines using diverse education programs for staff nurses.

Purpose: This study was performed to identify the perception gaps of nursing services quality between consumers and providers, and identify the perceived influences of nursing services quality on general satisfaction of medical services and revisiting intent of hospital by consumers. Method: The Joo's questionnaire founded on SERVQUAL was modified and distributed to 300 patients and nurses at 6 general hospitals in 5 provincial cities, Korea. Result: It is identified that the perception gaps between consumer and providers exist, and consumers perceive nursing services quality has a influences on general satisfaction of medical services and revisiting intent of hospital. And it is also identified that consumers also perceive general satisfaction of medical services has a powerful influences on revisiting intent of hospital. Conclusion: It is concluded that the marketing strategies being based on the perception gaps between consumers and providers should be specifically planned and applied to improve the perceived nursing services quality by consumers. And it is needed to accurately identify the impact attributes and factors of nursing services quality on general satisfaction of medical services and revisiting intent of hospital that consumers perceive.
