초.중등 교육시설의 유지관리비 분석 - 인천광역시 초.중등학교를 중심으로 - (The Analysis of Maintenance & Repair Cost in Educational Facilities of Primary and Secondary Schools - Focusing on Primary and Secondary Schools in Incheon Metropolitan City -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for calculation of school operation fees for normal functioning of the school facilities, and facility maintenance and repair cost through their life spans, considering remodeling of the facilities and changes of their functions. This study analyzes maintenance and repair records during the three years from 2003 to 2005 in primary, middle and high schools in Incheon Metropolitan city and also the facility management and operation expenditure of the same schools in the city during the year of 2005, and presents quantified unit cost of each item according to the area, the age of the facilities, and the number of classroom, student, and lessons given. The calculation can be a basis for both BTL school facility managers and the general school facility mangers to budget school facility maintenance cost appropriately and the quantity of energy, water, electricity, and telephone fees calculated here can be a criteria for the managers to check the normal maintenance of their facility.

High Power Continuous-Wave and Graphene Q-switched Operation of Er:YAG Ceramic Lasers at ~1.6 ㎛

  • We report on high-power continuous-wave operations of an Er:YAG ceramic laser in-band pumped by a cladding-pumped Er,Yb fiber laser at 1532 nm. With an output coupler of 10% transmission, the ceramic laser yielded 16.7 W of continuous-wave output at 1645 nm for 28.8 W of incident pump power, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 61.0% with respect to the incident pump power. The lasing wavelength switched to 1617 nm when output couplers of > 20% transmission were used. Up to 16.2 W of 1617 nm output was generated for 33.0 W of incident pump power, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 51.8%. Graphene Q-switched operation of Er:YAG cermic laser at 1645 nm was also demonstrated with stable pulses of 30-74 kHz repetition rates and 1.5-6.4 ${\mu}s$ pulse widths.

초전도 코일을 적용한 무선전력전송 시스템 효율 향상 (Efficiency Enhancement of a Wireless Power Transmission System Applying a Superconducting Coil)

  • Due to high oil prices, environmental pollution, the study of electric vehicles have been actively promoted. Charger for the electric vehicle is being developed using wireless rather than cable options. In this paper, we got more efficiency from using a superconducting transmission coil compared to using a normal coil. We implemented a wireless power transmission system using a magnetic induction at a frequency of 63.1 kHz. For comparison, a transmitter was designed using a superconducting coil and a normal coil. In addition, a receiver used a normal coil to apply for electric vehicles. The applied voltage and current were12 V and 5 A. Efficiency at a distance of 40 ~ 80 mm was measured. As a result, the superconducting transmission coil had a higher efficiency than the normal transmission coil. However, the receiving coil should be normal conductor for stable operation considering that it was put in moving electric vehicle. The efficiency was increased to 44 % at a distance of 40 mm when the diameter of normal receiving coil was 120 mm.

  • 원자발전소의 가동에 따른 기체상 방사성물질의 방출로부터 주변주민이 받는 피해는 정상상태와 사고 경우로 나눠서 해석하게 된다. 정상상태 경우 방사성물질의 대기확산 모델은 주로 연평균 통계치를 사용하는 Gaussian식을 채택하나 사고결과 해석시에는 풍향 풍속의 변화를 추적하는 실시간(real time) 확산모델을 이용한다. 본고에서는 고려 원자력발전소의 정상가동에 따른 $1977{\sim}1982$년 6개년에 걸친 주변주민의 피복 선량을 Gaussian 직선제도 모델에 의한 대기확산인자치로 계산하였으며 사고경우에 대해서 요구되는 대상지역 주변의 대기확산계수 특성치를 구하는 간편한 영상처리방식을 실제 실험을 통해 제시하였다.

다중모드 주성분분석에 기반한 천연가스 액화플랜트의 성분 분리공정 감시 시스템 개발 (Development of Monitoring System for the LNG plant fractionation process based on Multi-mode Principal Component Analysis)

  • 세계 환경규제가 강화되면서 액화천연가스의 사용량이 지속해서 증가하고 있다. 안정적이고 효율적인 액화천연가스 생산을 위해서는 운전 조건을 세분화하여 감시하는 시스템 구축이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 천연가스 액화플랜트 성분 분리공정을 해석하여 구축한 동적 모델 데이터를 대상으로 다중 모드 감시시스템 개발 방법을 제안하였다. 먼저 전체 정상 데이터를 주성분분석과 k-평균 군집화 방법론을 사용하여 다중 정상 운전 모델로 구분하였다. 그 다음, 새로운 데이터 값을 k-최근접 알고리즘으로 구축된 다중 정상 모드와 매칭하였다. 마지막으로, 다중 모드 주성분분석 감시 기법을 통해 공정 데이터의 이상 여부를 판별하였다. 제시된 방법론은 45가지 이상경우에 적용하였고, 기본 주성분분석 방법론과 단변수 감시 방법론과의 비교를 통해 속도와 정확도 지표에서 평균 약 5~10%이상 우수함을 입증하였다.

2.2 kW와 3.7 kW 유도전동기의 정상과 구속운전에 따른 전류 및 온도 특성 (Characteristic of Current and Temperature according to Normal and Abnormal Operations at Induction Motor of 2.2 kW and 3.7 kW)

  • This study analyzed the current and temperature characteristics of major components of an induction motor during normal and abnormal operations as functions of the difference in the rated capacities of medium and large-sized motors widely used in industrial settings. The temperature rise equation of the induction motor winding was derived through locked-rotor operation experiments and linear regression analysis. When the ambient temperature is 40 ℃, the time to reach 155 ℃, the temperature limit of the insulation class (F class) of the winding of the induction motor, was confirmed to be 48 seconds for the 2.2 kW induction motor and 39 seconds for the 3.7 kW induction motor. This means that when the rated capacity is large or the installation environment is high temperature, the time to reach the temperature limit of the insulation class during locked-rotor operation is short, and the risk of insulation deterioration and fire is high. In addition, even if the EOCR (Electronic Over Current Relay) is installed, if the setting time is excessively set, the EOCR does not operate even if the normal and locked-rotor operation of the induction motor is repeated, and the temperature limit of the insulation grade of the winding of the induction motor is exceeded. The results of this study can be used for preventive measures such as the promotion of electrical and mechanical measures for the failure of induction motors and fire prevention in industrial sites, or the installation of fire alarm systems.

FAST OPERATION METHOD IN GF$(2^n)$

  • In this paper, we show how to construct an optimal normal basis over finite field of high degree and compare two methods for fast operations in some finite field $GF(2^n)$. The first method is to use an optimal normal basis of $GF(2^n)$ over $GF(2)$. In case of n = st where s and t are relatively primes, the second method which regards the finite field $GF(2^n)$ as an extension field of $GF(2^s)$ and $GF(2^t)$ is to use an optimal normal basis of $GF(2^t)$ over $GF(2)$. In section 4, we tabulate implementation result of two methods.

Effects on Normal Force and Input Voltage Variation in the Resonance Characteristics of an Ultrasonic Motor

  • In an ultrasonic motor, a piezoelectric ceramic material forms the active element which vibrates the stator, thus initiating the rotational motion. In the operation of ultrasonic motors, many factors exist that can affect the resonance characteristics of the piezoelectric ceramic component. For examples, these factors are the bonding conditions with the piezoelectric element, the magnitude of the input voltage, the normal force in the frictional drive and the emission of heat due to vibration and friction etc. Therefore, it is important to research properly the inclination for variation of piezoelectric ceramics in the circumstance where complex elements are involved. In this paper, we focus on the analysis of the resonance characteristics of an ultrasonic motor as a function of the magnitude of the input voltage and the normal force.
