In this paper, it is called nonlinear-symbol CPFSK(NCPFSK) which is modulated by the nonlinear function of information carrying phase function within all symbol interval produce time invariant trellis structure. In general, the bit error probability performance of CPFSK modultion scheme within given signal constellation is determined from the number of memory elementsof continuous phase encoder, i.e. number of state. In this paper the number of state of analyticall designed NCPFSK is time invariant. And the nonlinear symbol mapping function of the proposed moudlation produces the nonlinear symbol andthe phase state of the modulation for updating the phase function of NCPFSK. It si shown in this paper nonlinear symbol CPFSK with multiple TCM to make further improvements in d$^{2}$, and analyzed BER performance in AWGN channel envioronments.hannel envioronments.
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a modulation technique that allows the transmission of high data rates over wideband radio channels subject to frequency selective fading by dividing the data into several narrowband and flat fading channels. OFDM has high spectral efficiency and channel robustness. However, a major drawback of OFDM is that the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitted signals is high, which causes nonlinear distortion in the received data and reduces the efficiency of the high power amplifier in the transmitter. The most straightforward method to solve this problem is to use a nonlinear mapping algorithm to transform the signal into a new signal that has a smaller PAPR. One of the latest nonlinear methods proposed to reduce the PAPR is the $L_2$-by-3 algorithm, which is based on the discrete sliding norm transform. In this paper, a new algorithm based on the $L_2$-by-3 method is proposed. The proposed method is very simple and has a low complexity analysis. Simulation results show that the proposed method performs better, has better power spectral density, and is less sensitive to the modulation type and number of subcarriers than $L_2$-by-3.
A 4+12+16 amplitude phase shift keying (APSK) modulation outperforms other 32-APSK modulations in a nonlinear additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel because of its intrinsic robustness against AM/AM and AM/PM distortions caused by the nonlinear characteristics of a high-power amplifier. Thus, this modulation scheme has been adopted in the digital video broadcasting-satellite2 European standard. And it has been considered for high rate transmission of telemetry data on deep space communications in consultative committee for space data systems which provides a forum for discussion of common problems in the development and operation of space data systems. In this paper, we present an improved bits-to-symbol mapping scheme with a better bit error rate for a 4+12+16 APSK signal in a nonlinear AWGN channel and propose a simple signal detection algorithm for the 4+12+16 APSK from the presented bit mapping.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the human body having more muscles than its degree-of-freedom modulates an effective stiffness using redundant actuation, and to apply this concept to the design and control of advanced machines which requires adaptable spring. To investigate the adaptable stiffness phenomenon due to redundant actuation in the human body, this paper derives a general stiffness model of the Human body. In particular, for a planar 1 DOF human arm model, a planar 2 DOF human arm model, a spherical 3 DOF shoulder model, a 4 DOF human arm model, and a 7 DOF human arm model, the required nonlinear geometry ad the number of required actuator for successful modulation of the effective stiffness are analyzed along with a load distribution method for modulation of the required stiffness of such systems. Secondly, the concept of motion frequency modulation is introduced to show the usefulness of adaptive stiffness modulation. The motion frequency modulation represents a control of stiffness and / or inertia properties of systems. To show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, simulations are performed for 2 DOF anthropomorphic robot.

The energy efficiency and bandwidth efficiency are two important criterion in designing a modulation scheme Especially the constant envelope property must be considered as in the non-linear channel tht exit, for example in the nonlinear amplifiers for satellite repeater. The Q$^{2}$AM(Quadrature Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) is a new modulation scheme which combines the Q$^{2}$PSK(Quadrature Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) scheme which increases the signal space dimension and the QAM scheme which increases the bandwidth efficiency using the multi-level signal. The Q$^{2}$AM scheme has by far superior spectrum efficiency compared with the existing modulation schemes. Applying this scheme in the non-linear communication system increses the bandwidth efficiency but cannot envelop property. In this paper, a new system architecture is suggested which satisfies the large spectrum efficiency and constant envelope property by implementing the linear block coding prior to the Q$^{2}$AM modulation. the system has improved in performance by gaining the constant envelope and the additional coding gain. We able to observe the performance improvement of the suggested system(at BER=10$^{-5}$ ) of 4.4 dB for the 16-QAM and 0.7 dB for the Q$^{2}$PSK under the exact spectrum efficiency.
In this study, nonlinear transverse vibrations of tensioned Euler-Bernoulli nanobeams are studied. The nonlinear equations of motion including stretching of the neutral axis and axial tension are derived using nonlocal beam theory. Forcing and damping effects are included in the equations. Equation of motion is made dimensionless via dimensionless parameters. A perturbation technique, the multiple scale methods is employed for solving the nonlinear problem. Approximate solutions are applied for the equations of motion. Natural frequencies of the nanobeams for the linear problem are found from the first equation of the perturbation series. From nonlinear term of the perturbation series appear as corrections to the linear problem. The effects of the various axial tension parameters and different nonlocal parameters as well as effects of different boundary conditions on the vibrations are determined. Nonlinear frequencies are estimated; amplitude-phase modulation figures are presented for simple-simple and clamped-clamped cases.
Nonlinear vibrations of an Euler-Bernoulli beam resting on a nonlinear elastic foundation are discussed. In search of approximate analytical solutions, the classical multiple scales (MS) and the multiple scales Lindstedt Poincare (MSLP) methods are used. The case of primary resonance is investigated. Amplitude and phase modulation equations are obtained. Steady state solutions are considered. Frequency response curves obtained by both methods are contrasted with each other with respect to the effect of various physical parameters. For weakly nonlinear systems, MS and MSLP solutions are in good agreement. For strong hardening nonlinearities, MSLP solutions exhibit the usual jump phenomena whereas MS solutions are not reliable producing backward curves which are unphysical.

Millimeter over Fiber (MMoF) technique modulates millimeter wave signal optically to transmit it through an optical fiber for long distances with small loss. MMoF system usually uses optical single sideband (OSSB) modulation scheme to reduce fiber chromatic dispersion and obtain high bandwidth efficiency. The optical link of MMoF system using OSSB is treated as a nonlinear amplifier, and the AM/AM characteristic function of the amplifier is a Bessel function of the first kind of order 1. In this paper, we investigate the performance of OFDM MMoF system considering nonlinearity of OSSB modulation. We estimate a power of the nonlinear distortion noise to analyze the theoretical bit error rate(BER), and perform a simulation to verify the theoretical BER.
The high power amplifier (HPA) for broadcasting transmitter systems has nonlinear property in terms of input signal power. Hence, it produces AM/AM and AM/PM modulation to the modulated signal. Therefore, the non-linearity results in bandwidth expansion and nonlinear distortion to in-band signal. In this paper, we propose a simple sain-based predistorter that requires less computational burden and less time for the full initialization of the pre-distorter ROM table.

We express fundamental second-order and third- order harmonic distortions and intermodulation distortions in terms of the laser parameters. Compared to the Darcie `s result only limited to the high frequency (f >1GHz), these expression are quite valid in the entire modulation frequency region. It is found that the fundamental nonlinear distortions are strongly effected by the spontaneous emission to lasing mode as well as the gain compresion damping in the low frequency region.
