Cysts of Entamoebn histoIMtica are still found from humans in Korea, but notall of the cysts are known as pathogenic. The non-pathogenic strain is regarded as a differenL species, E. nispnr. In this study, Korean isolates of conventional E. histolvticn were subjected for the differentiation by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis. Human stools were screened by routine microscopic examination, and cyst or trophozoite positive stools were inoculated into Robinson media. The cultivated trophozoites were prepared for DNA extraction, and the DNAs were used for PCR with common primers of Pl gene. The PCR products were divested with 3 restriction enzymes and RFLP was observed. Also anti-sense primers containing the cleavage site of each restriction eWe were designed for differentiation only by PCR. The PCR products of Korean isolates 59,512, YS-6, and YS-27 were spliced by Taq I and Xmnl but not byAccl, and the isolates S1, S3, S11, S15, S16, S17, S20, YS- l7, and YS-44 were spliced by Acc I but not by Taq I and Xmn I. These RFLP pattern correlated well with PCR products by the species specific primers. The findings confirm that the Korean isolates 59,512, YS-6, and YS-27 are E. histolwtico and others are E. dispar. In Korea, most of the asymptomatic cyst carriers are infected by E. dispar, not by E. histolytica. Key words: Entcmoebc histolytica, Entcmoebn dispar Korean isolates, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP)
This study looked for employment services satisfaction surveys done in the UK, USA and Korea. And through which derived the following suggestions for improving Korea the employment service satisfaction survey. First, in terms of research design improvements to ensure the representativeness of the sample region for each center and branch-specific (job seekers and recruiters) requires the sampling design based on user scale. In addition, the sample design should be applied when considering specific user can be distributed. US is restricted to participants within 60 days for sampling and sample extraction once a month at least. Next in terms of survey improvements, it is necessary to apply a weighting part considering the regional characteristics. For this, the correct analysis of the employment center by the internal and external environment is required. And in the case of non-face-to-face service, complaints about worknet use is likely to be channeled into complaints about job centers provide services. It needs to improve on this. And for the improvements of business processes service by an in-depth study, it can be seen to review the possible introduction of a British mystery shopper.

In recent years, polyphenol-rich herbs, fruits and processed foods, which are made of plant origin, have attracted much attention due to their potential health benefits. Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) is an important source of bioactive compounds and has been used to treat diseases because of its medicinal properties. This research was focused on characterizing Korea's national cultivar and a similar product from California, USA. To evaluate their bioactive compounds and pharmacological activities, their anti-oxidation and cancer inhibition properties, as well as their organic acid and free sugar contents, were investigated. The national cultivar had low total sugar and high organic acid contents, contrary to the imported product. The results showed that the peel of national cultivar had high polyphenol and ellagic acid contents compared to imported product. The free radical scavenging capacity was evaluated via 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and its positive correlation with the total polyphenol contents was found. The anti-cancer activity of methanol extracts revealed growth inhibition against the prostate cancer cell. These results signify that while pomegranate, national cultivar, is more sour than the imported product, its health benefits could be excellent. Also, the polyphenol compound content of the non-edible part (such as the peel and the seed) was higher than that of the juice. Thus, it is suggested that the byproduct of the juice extraction could be potentially used in other fields such as medicine or dietary agents.
In order to investigate the behavior of the herbicide metolachlor [2-chloro-6'-ethyl-N-(2-methoxy-1-methylethyl)aceto-O-toluidide] in fish, carps (Cyprinus carpio L.) were exposed to the herbicide at $LC_{10}$(1.93 mg/L) for 4 days. Metolachlor dissolved in water was absorbed rapidly into carps to mark the maximum concentration 6 hours after exposure. The amounts of the $^{14}C$-metolachlor and its metabolites absorbed in gall were much higher than those in the other parts, strongly suggesting that biliary excretion involving enterohepatic recirculation could be an important route for the elimination of metolachlor. The $^{14}C$-radioactivity distributed into aqueous phase fraction in test water and in carp extract was increased in time-dependent manner. Extraction rate of $^{14}C$ absorbed in carp tissues was decreased remarkably up to 6 hours after exposure, suggesting that the possible polar metabolites of metolachlor were transformed into the conjugates to form non-extractable bound residues.

The person Re-identification is the most challenging part of computer vision due to the significant changes in human pose and background clutter with occlusions. The picture from non-overlapping cameras enhance the difficulty to distinguish some person from the other. To reach a better performance match, most methods use feature selection and distance metrics separately to get discriminative representations and proper distance to describe the similarity between person and kind of ignoring some significant features. This situation has encouraged us to consider a novel method to deal with this problem. In this paper, we proposed an enhanced recurrent neural network with three-tier hierarchical network for person re-identification. Specifically, the proposed recurrent neural network (RNN) model contain an iterative expectation maximum (EM) algorithm and three-tier Hierarchical network to jointly learn both the discriminative features and metrics distance. The iterative EM algorithm can fully use of the feature extraction ability of convolutional neural network (CNN) which is in series before the RNN. By unsupervised learning, the EM framework can change the labels of the patches and train larger datasets. Through the three-tier hierarchical network, the convolutional neural network, recurrent network and pooling layer can jointly be a feature extractor to better train the network. The experimental result shows that comparing with other researchers' approaches in this field, this method also can get a competitive accuracy. The influence of different component of this method will be analyzed and evaluated in the future research.
Presently, the reuse of waste FCC catalysts, which generated from the refining process of crack oil, after the removal of con-taminated metallic impurities have not been attempted domestically yet because the separation technology f3r the impurities from waste catalysts has not been established. As a basic study far the reusable portion from the waste FCC catalysts and treatment of metallic impurities are assured, there will be invoked an significant contribution not only in the recycling of abandoned wastes up to date but also in the treatment efficiency of wastes and extraction of economical benefits from them. The magnetic separation of impurities such as Fe, Ni, and V, from waste FCC catalyst has been attempted with or without its pre-oxidation at high temperature for the purpose of its reuse. The results showed that the separability of impurities by magnetic force was high far non-preoxidized catalysts compared with preoxidized ones, and employment of screen-type matrix showed a higher separation efficiency than ball-type matrix. The separability increased with the strength of magnetic field, and the method of ball matrix has separation efficiency of maximum 51.10%. The amount of metallic impurities was in the decreasing order of V, Ni, and Fe depending upon ICP analysis.

Scutellariae baicalensis (S. baicalensis) has been traditionally used for anti-inflammatory effect. This study was designed to compare the antioxidant and whitening effects of S. baicalensis extract and its fermented extract by Leuconostoc mesenteroides (L. mesenteroides). Fermented extract of S. baicalenins was prepared by inoculation of L. mesenteroides after the extraction procedure with 70% ethanol. S. baicalensis extract and its fermented extract was investigated via high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Simultaneous qualitative analysis of two bioactive components; baicalin and baicalein was achieved by comparing their retention times ($t_R$) and UV spectra with those of the standard components. Cell viability test results indicated that both S. baicalensis extract and its fermented extract were non-toxicity. In DPPH radical scavenging ability, $SC_{50}$ values of the fermented extract was $34.43{\mu}g/mL$ as a result of more effective than S. baicalensis extract. In nontoxic concentration rage, fermented extract of S. baicalensis showed strong melanin production inhibitory effect in ${\alpha}$-melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH)-stimulated B16F10 cell ($IC_{50}=68.17{\mu}g/mL$). These results suggested that fermented extracts of S. baicalensis has considerable potential as a cosmetics ingredient with an antioxidant and anti-wrinkle and whitening effects.
This study was performed to examine the effect of $\gamma$-irradiation on the volatile organic compounds in Houttuynia cordata Thunb.(H. cordata). 1be volatile compounds of non-irradiated and 10 kGy $\gamma$-irradiated H. cordata were isolated using SDE apparatus and analyzed by GC/MS. For each treatment the number of volatile compounds were detected at 83 and 85, respectively, 1be predominant functional groups of volatile organic compounds from H. cordata were identified as alcohols and ketones. H. cordata was mainly composed of hexahydrofarnesyl acetone (12.81 %), phytol, decanoic acid, dodecanoic acid, octadecanol, caryophyllene oxide, 2-undecanone and menthol. Houttuynum which is characteristic compound of H. cordata was found in all samples and there was no significant difference with irradiation doses. Consequently, $\gamma$-irradiation of H. cordata would be an effective process for sanitation and to increase extraction efficiency.

This paper proposes an effective fire detection approach that includes the following multiple heterogeneous algorithms: moving region detection using grey level histograms, color segmentation using fuzzy c-means clustering (FCM), feature extraction using a grey level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM), and fire classification using support vector machine (SVM). The proposed approach determines the optimal threshold values based on grey level histograms in order to detect moving regions, and then performs color segmentation in the CIE LAB color space by applying the FCM. These steps help to specify candidate regions of fire. We then extract features of fire using the GLCM and these features are used as inputs of SVM to classify fire or non-fire. We evaluate the proposed approach by comparing it with two state-of-the-art fire detection algorithms in terms of the fire detection rate (or percentages of true positive, PTP) and the false fire detection rate (or percentages of true negative, PTN). Experimental results indicated that the proposed approach outperformed conventional fire detection algorithms by yielding 97.94% for PTP and 4.63% for PTN, respectively.
Purpose: To prolong the degradation time of collagen membranes, various cross-linking techniques have been developed. For cross-linking, chemicals such as formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde are added to collagen membranes, but these chemicals could adversely affect surrounding tissues. The aim of this study is to evaluate the ability of porous non-chemical cross-linking porcine-derived collagen nanofibrous membrane to enhance bone and associated tissue regeneration in one-wall intrabony defects in beagle dogs. Methods: The second and third mandibular premolars and the first molars of 2 adult beagles were extracted bilaterally and the extraction sites were allowed to heal for 10 weeks. One-wall intrabony defects were prepared bilaterally on the mesial and distal side of the fourth mandibular premolars. Among eight defects, four defects were not covered with membrane as controls and the other four defects were covered with membrane as the experimental group. The animals were sacrificed 10 weeks after surgery. Results: Wound healing was generally uneventful. For all parameters evaluating bone regeneration, the experimental group showed significantly superior results compared to the control. In new bone height (NBh), the experimental group exhibited a greater mean value than the control ($3.04{\pm}0.23\;mm/1.57{\pm}0.59$, P=0.003). Also, in new bone area (NBa) and new bone volume (NBv), the experimental group showed superior results compared to the control (NBa, $34.48{\pm}10.21%$ vs. $5.09{\pm}5.76%$, P=0.014; and NBv, $28.04{\pm}12.96$ vs. $1.55{\pm}0.57$, P=0.041). On the other hand, for parameters evaluating periodontal tissue regeneration, including junctional epithelium migration and new cementum height, there were no statistically significant differences between two groups. Conclusions: Within the limitations of this study, this collagen membrane enhanced bone regeneration at one-wall intrabony defects. On the other hand, no influence of this membrane on periodontal tissue regeneration could be ascertained in this study.
