This paper analyses conceptual change from Euclid's dictionary definition to Hilbert's mathematical definition about primitive terms in Geometry. Realism, conceptualism, nominalism about mathematical objects are related to this conceptual change.

According to Field, mathematical objects do not exist but they might have existed. In this paper I examine how persuasive this 'contingent' nominalism could be. For this I give a detailed analysis of the recent debate on the contingency of mathematical objects. I argue that the putative connection between contingency and explanation could still be sustained, but an independent argument is needed in order to support a general principle underlying the connection. I show that the attacks based on the anti-insularity principles already reflect their own positions on the modal status of the existence of mathematical objects.

In his paper "The Existence of Mathematical Objects and Contingency" Professor Choi deals with the debate between Hartry Field and Hale/Wright. In this famous debate, Hale/Wright and Field argue back and forth about whether some explanations for the contingency of mathematical objects need to be provided or not. In this paper, I raise 3 objections to Professor Choi's critical analysis of this debate.

This study aims to analysis the types of features of confucian values of China normal university students. To achieve this purpose, Q methodology is applied. This study was conducted at Sichuan Normal University in China. Total 42 students and 47 statements collected through literature research. The implementation were formed in four types, statism, traditionalism, nominalism, and naturalism. Through this study, from the perspective of international relations, family relations, and friendship, all four type of features were presented intellectualized intelligentiae. The common feature of the four types is gender role, and the cognition of gender role is changing, and women will becoming an independent individual. Although confucian values had made great contribution for the development of Chinese traditional culture, it is an undeniable fact that some ideas not according with the modern social demand for development are hidden in the back.And we should look at and appreciate confucian values from a comprehensive and dialectic view.
