히스 노이즈제거를 통한 아날로그의 디지털 복원에 대한 연구 - X-NOISE를 활용한 히스 노이즈리덕션을 중심으로 - (A Research on the Digital Restoration of the Analog by Removing Hiss Noise (Using X-NOISE Based on Hiss-Noise Reduction))

  • Analog cassette tapes are easily changed due to environmental factors. To digitize is the best way to preserve a sound source. The way to digitize is to deal with the original sound to be enhanced to a variety of sources by playing through the audio card after recording. In this process to occur, it's the most important to remove various noise and equalizing sound in a method for preserving. It's studied about how to remove noise by using one of softwares, Cubase 5. 5, to remove hiss noise, which happens changing analog tape into digitalization. A amount of hiss noise is reduced to use X-Noise software of Wave which uses in Cubase 5.0, one of PLUG-IN. The noise is removed changing value of threshold and reduction every 10 times in no change of origin sound. To keep regular condition, the experiment to remove the hiss noise is conducted based on sound meondle, which is one of sound Nonmaegi. The noise is removed easily when the value of threshold is getting high in spite of giving a little value of reduction. However, as it gives a amount of reduction high, the damage rate of the sound source gets high.

음성존재확률을 이용한 행렬식 기반 2채널 잡음제거기법 (Determinant-based two-channel noise reduction method using speech presence probability)

  • 본 논문에서는 음성존재확률을 활용한 2채널 입력신호 상관행렬의 행렬식 기반 잡음제거 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 음성존재확률을 이용해 기존의 행렬식 기반 2채널 잡음제거 기법의 위너 필터 이득을 음성과 잡음구간에 따라 적응적으로 조절함으로써 잡음제거 성능을 더욱 향상시키고자 하였다. 제안한 기법은 잡음 종류, 반향 조건, 신호대잡음비, 잡음원의 개수와 방향이 다양한 모의 환경에서 객관적 평가 방법을 통해 평가되었다. 실험 결과는 대부분의 실험환경에서 행렬식 기반의 기법들이 위상차를 기반으로 한 기법들보다 성능이 우수했고 특히 제안한 음성존재확률을 이용한 행렬식 기반 잡음제거기법이 음성 신호 왜곡을 최소화하면서 가장 우수한 잡음 제거 성능을 보였다.

  • The noise sources in the outdoor unit of RAC are identified by the sound intensity method. The main noise sources are compressor noise and fluid noise which is caused by the fan. heat exchanger and shroud. First. the fluid noise is reduced through the design of new fan and shroud. reduction of the system resistance by rearrangement of heat exchanger. and optimization of the complex parameter between the fan and shroud. Next, in order to reduce the compressor noise, the new shape of compressor mount and sound-proof material was applied. As a result, the overall noise was reduced by 4∼5dB (A).

  • Cabin noise reduction in maglev trains developed by KIMM is studied. Based on the measurements of cabin noise and acceleration levels during running and zero speed conditions, dominant noise sources are identified. After spectra characteristics of noise sources is investigated, efficient noise reducing methods are studied such as STL increasement of floor panels, sealing, and absorption treatment. It is found that the most important noise sources are VVVF inverter and SLIM in running condition. Since the noise sources are under the cabin floor, complete sealing and high STL of the floor panel are shown to be the most crucial factors in noise reduction. After polyurethan form (50t) is added for more sound absorption and sealing treatment, the cabin noise is reduced by 3-4 ㏈.

  • For the purpose of the acoustic performance evaluation of noise reduction device(NRD) installed at the top of noise barrier for further decreasing of noise level of 400km/h class high-speed railroad(HEMU), the acoustic performance test method using speaker instead of really running railway vehicle was suggested in this paper. For this, noise source location and frequency spectrum of HEMU was analyzed through the field noise test. These data were used for the determination of speaker's installation positions and frequency correction values applied to the speaker noise source. And, 400 meters long NRD was installed at the site where HEMU will be running at a speed of 400km/h. Finally, the outdoor speaker test with and without NRD showed that this NRD could decrease noise level even more than 3dB(A). In the future, the acoustic performance results of NRD conducted with speaker test will be compared with that of field test for HEMU running at a speed of 400km/h.

  • 음성신호를 대상으로 하는 연구 분야에서 신경회로망은 주로 음성인식 등의 카테고리 분류의 목적으로 사용되며 신호처리의 응용에도 유망하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 신경회로망에 시간구조를 취한 시간지연 신경회로망을 이용하여 잡음이 중첩된 음성신호의 공간으로부터 잡음이 없는 음성신호의 공간으로 사상을 실행함으로써 잡음을 제거하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 논문은 푸리에 변환의 진폭성분을 복원하는 잡음제거의 알고리즘을 사용하여 백색잡음 및 유색잡음에 대해서 본 수법의 유효성을 확인한다.

An Experimental Study for Noise Reduction of the Cross-Flow Fan of the Room Air-Conditioners

  • Present study explains some experimental results on the aerodynamic noise of the cross-flow fan usually installed in the indoor unit of the room air-conditioners and provides a simple reduction method of radiating sound to decrease the total noise level. The spectra of the noise of the cross-flow fan were analyzed by the spectral decomposition method to characterize the generated sound. The unsteady fluctuating flow field was also measured using the I-type hot-wire probe. Comparing the spectral characteristics of the sound and the flow velocity, a useful noise reduction method was proposed, which bounds the region with a fence where the flow fluctuations were noticeably changed in the same fashion as the source spectral distribution functions vary. To validate the proposed method for reducing noise generated by the cross-flow fan, the sound pressure levels of the cross-flow fan system were compared with and without the bounding fence for various flow rates.

  • Recently Among indoor noises plumbing noise from supply and drain water pipe is being pointed out as a annoying noise following to floor impact noise, and it is increasing the rate to point the noise due to the following several reasons: water pressure, vibration by fabricated structures and direct noise propagation from upper floor through ceiling This study aims to analyse the characteristics of toilet stool plumbing noise in apartment bathroom which are generated by crossing plumbings and elbows. And it analyse the effect of noise reduction by soundproofing and insulations which are covered at crossing plumbings. And also analyse the characteristics of noise about a type of elbows, crossing plumbing and result of dB(A). At last it provide a fundamental data for the purpose of reduction of plumbing noise in apartment.

  • In a wheel loader, the tail-pipe is installed at the exhaust tube of muffler for the reduction of exhaust noise and the cooling of engine room however, the cabin noise level can be largely increased due to the tail-pipe. In this paper, to grasp and reduce the cabin noise, a series of noise and vibration tests were carried out in addition to numerical simulations. As a result, the transmission path of exhaust noise toward the cabin was exactly identified and the improved shape of tail pipe, that can reduce the cabin noise, was derived through various numerical simulations and real tests.
