Antireflection pattern, moth-eye structure, was fabricated on lens using Ultra Violet nanoimprint lithography and flexible template. Ni template with conical shaped structure was used as a master template to molding. The flexible poly vinyl alcohol template was fabricated by molding. This poly vinyl alcohol template was used as an imprint template of imprint at lens. Using Ultra Violet nanoimprint lithography and poly vinyl alcohol template, polymer based moth-eye structure was formed on lens and its transmittance was increased up to 94% from 92% at 550 nm wavelength.
Vibrational micro-forming of pyramidal shape patterns was conducted for an Al superplastic alloy, Al 5083 and a Zr-based bulk metallic glass, $Zr_{62}Cu_{17}Ni_{13}Al_8$. A vibrational micro-forming system was specially designed for generating vibrational load by combining a PZT actuator with a signal generator. Single crystal Si micro dies with wet-etched pyramidal patterns were used as master dies for vibrational micro-forming. The micro-formed pattern height was increasing with increasing the frequency of the vibrational load. In particular, the vibrationally-microformed pattern height was similar or even higher than the statically-microformed pattern height when the load frequency exceeded about 125 kHz. It was also observed that the crystal grains affect the surface quality of the microformed pattern and the distribution of the pattern height in the die cavity array.
Pyramid shape of micro pattern is applied to the light guide panel (LGP) to enhance the uniformity of the brightness of the LCD. The micro pyramids are molded in intaglio on the surface of the LGP. The size of each pyramid is 5$\mu$m $\times$ 5$\mu$m on bottom and the height is about 3.5$\mu$m. The pyramids are distributed on the LGP surface randomly to be sparser where the light comes in and denser at the opposite side as a result of a simulation using lightools$^{TM}$ Based on this design, a silicon pattern master and a nickel stamper are fabricated by MEMS process and electro plating process. Intaglio micro pyramids are fabricated on the 6' of silicon wafer from the anisotropic etching using KOH and the process time, temperature of the KOH solution, etc are optimized to obtain precise shape of the pattern. A Wi stamper is fabricated from this pattern master by electro plating process and the embossed pyramid patterns turns out to be well defined on the stamper. Adopting this stamper to the mold base with two cavities, 1.8' and 3.6' LGPs are injection molded.

PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marginal and internal gaps of Ni-Cr and Co-Cr copings, fabricated using the dental ${\mu}-SLA$ system. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Ten study dies were made using a two-step silicone impression with a dental stone (type IV) from the master die of a tooth. Ni-Cr (NC group) and Co-Cr (CC group) alloy copings were designed using a dental scanner, CAD software, resin coping, and casting process. In addition, 10 Ni-Cr alloy copings were manufactured using the lost-wax technique (LW group). The marginal and internal gaps in the 3 groups were measured using a digital microscope ($160{\times}$) with the silicone replica technique, and the obtained data were analyzed using the non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis H test. Post-hoc comparisons were performed using Bonferroni-corrected Mann-Whitney U tests (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The mean (${\pm}$ standard deviation) values of the marginal, chamfer, axial wall, and occlusal gaps in the 3 groups were as follows: $81.5{\pm}73.8$, $98.1{\pm}76.1$, $87.1{\pm}44.8$, and $146.8{\pm}78.7{\mu}m$ in the LW group; $76.8{\pm}48.0$, $141.7{\pm}57.1$, $80.7{\pm}47.5$, and $194.69{\pm}63.8{\mu}m$ in the NC group; and $124.2{\pm}52.0$, $199.5{\pm}71.0$, $67.1{\pm}37.6$, and $244.5{\pm}58.9{\mu}m$ in the CC group. CONCLUSION. The marginal gap in the LW and NC groups were clinically acceptable. Further improvement is needed for CC group to be used clinical practice.
Fabrication of a three-dimensional (3D) metallic mold for multi-production of a microstructure was studied to settle the problem of long processing time in 3D microfabrication. To date, complicated 3D microstructures including 3D photonic crystals, 3D microlens array, 3D filter for microfludics, and something else were created successfully using the two-photon polymerization (TPP) which was considered as paving the way to fabricate a real 3D shape in nano/microscale. However, for those fabrications, much processing time and efforts were inevitably required. To solve this issue, a simple and effective way was proposed in this paper; 3D master patterns were prepared using TPP, and then counter-shaped Ni molds were fabricated by electroforming process. By using these molds, 3D microstructures can be reproduced with short-processing time and low-effort comparing to the conventional approach, TPP We report some parameters to fabricate a metallic mold precisely.
Hybrid solar cells have intensively studied in recent years due to their advantages such as cost effectiveness and possibility of applications in flexible and transparent devices. It is critical to fabricate individual layer composed of organic and inorganic materials in the hybrid solar cell at low cost. Therefore, it is required to manufacture cheaply and enhance the photon-to-electricity conversion efficiency of each layer in the flexible solar cell industry. In this research, we fabricated pure Cu metal mesh electrode prepared by using electroplating and/or electroless plating on the Ni mold which was manufacture through photolithography, electroforming, and polishing process. Copper mesh was formed on the surface of nickel metal working master when pulsed electrolytic copper deposition were performed at various plating parameters such as plating time, current density, and so on. After electrodeposition at 2ASD for 5~30seconds, the line/pitch/thickness of copper mesh sheet was $1.8{\sim}2.0/298/0.5{\mu}m$.

I. Objectives Endodontic success depends on thoroughly cleaned and completely obturated root canal system. Effective cleaning and obturation will be achieved by well shaped canal. Numerous methodologies evaluating the efficacy and safety of canal preparation has been developed and the use of micro-computed tomography(MCT) in endodontic research is one of the latest innovations. This scientific tools could overcome the inherent limitations of other methodologies, and possesses the ability to visualize morphological characteristics in a detailed and accurate manner without destruction of the tooth and offers reproducible data in all three dimensions. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal master apical file size with less transportation and more efficiency in removing the infected dentin. For this purpose we evaluated the transportation of canal center and change of untouched area after preparation sequentially from #25 file through #40 file with 3 different instruments:Stainless steel(SS) K-type hand instruments(MANI, Japan), ProFile.04 instruments (Dentply Tulsa Dental, USA) and Lightspeed instruments(Lightspeed Technology, San Antonio, USA) using micro-computed tomography.(omitted)
