MGA Feeding System에 의한 발정 동기화 방법이 한우의 발정 발현율과 수태율에 미치는 영향 (Estrus Induction Rates and Conception Rates by MGA Feeding System in Hanwoo)

  • 본 연구는 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여에 의한 발정 동기화 방법이 한우의 혈청 $P_4$ 수준, 발정 발현율과 수태율에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 수행하였다. 첫째로, 한우 미경산우에서 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여가 혈청 $P_4$ 수준에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 한우 미경산우 10두 및 프리마틴 1두에 대하여 MGA를 1일 0.5 mg을 14일간 오전 배합 사료에 섞어 급여하였으며, 19일이 경과한 후에 $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 25 mg을 투여하였다. MGA feeding 후 혈청 $P_4$ 농도 수준을 분석하기 위하여 MGA 급여 기간과 급여 종료 후 발정이 관찰될 때까지는 3일 간격, $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여 시, 발정 및 인공 수정 시, 인공 수정 후 15일째 및 2개월째에 혈액을 채취하였다. 한우 미경산우의 혈청 $P_4$ 수준은 MGA급여 7일 이후부터 상승하기 시작하여 투여 9일차에는 5.4 ng/ml로써 이후 상승된 상태에서 유지되었다. $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여시점인 33일차에는 7.6 ng/ml 수준으로 피크를 나타냈고, 투여 2-3일이 경과하고 발정이 발현됨에 따라 1.4 ng/ml로 급강하하는 양상을 보였다(p<0.05). 그러나 프리마틴의 경우에는 시험 기간 동안 P4수준의 변화가 인정되지 않았다. 둘째로, 한우 미경산우 및 경산우 194두를 이용하여 상기한 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여 방법(n=104)과 대조군으로 $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여(11일 간격 2회 투여, n=90)에 따른 발정 발현율 및 수태율을 비교하였다. 발정 발현율은 대조군인 $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여군 72.2%에 비해 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여군에서 91.3%로써 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 인공 수정 후 수태율은 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여군이 $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여군에 비해 1회 수정 수태율(51.1 vs. 59.6%), 2회 수정 수태율(77.8 vs. 84.6%) 및 전체 수태율(88.9 vs. 94.2 %)이 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 본 연구의 결과는 $MGA+PGF_{2{\alpha}}$를 이용한 발정 동기화 방법은 $PGF_{2{\alpha}}$ 투여법에 비해 높은 발정 동기화율 및 수태율을 나타냄으로서 한우의 번식 능력 향상에 적절히 활용될 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • 유기-실리카 이용한 잔유 구리(II)의 양을 빠른 추출을 위한 간단하고 재현성을 가지는 방법과 불꽃원자 흡수분광법으로의 검출에 대해 연구하였다. 공통으로 존재하는 이온은 분리와 검출에 간섭받지 않았다. 예비농축인자는 100 ml시료 용량에 대해 100 (1 ml 추출용량) 이 였다.제안된 방법의 검출한계는 1.0 ng ml-1이다. 최적조건하에서 흡착제의 최고흡수용량은 5 mg 구리/g 흡착제 였다. 최적조건하에서 상대표준편차는 2.8% (n=10)을 얻었다. 다양한 양의 구리(II)이온은 스파이크한 자연수와 합성수를 시험 시료로 하여 정확도 등을 시험하였다.

  • This study was carried out through the investigation of Oriental and Western medical literature and we was discovered these conclusions about the etiology, treatment, prescription of habitual abortion. The result of this study were as follows : 1. The habitual abortion does agree with 'Hwaltae(滑胎)' and means that spontaneous abortion repeats three times or more. 2. The etiology of habitual abortion is divided 'Deficiency of kidney'(腎虛), 'Deficiency of vital energy and blood'(氣血虛弱), 'Deficiency of yin'(陰虛), 'Clotted blood'(瘀血). 3. By means of cause, the treatment of habitual abortion was mainly made use of 'Tonifying kidney and promoting spleen'(補腎健脾), 'Invigorating vital energy and nourishing blood'(補氣補血), 'Supplementing yin fluid and alleviating fever'(滋陰淸熱), 'Resuscitating blood and removing clotted blood'(活血祛瘀). 4. By means of cause, the prescription of habitual abortion was frequent made use of Bosingochunghwan(補腎固沖丸), Bosingotae$\breve{u}$m(補腎固胎飮), Taesanbans$\breve{o}$ksan(泰山磐石散), $Ch\breve{o}ng\breve{u}mboinghwan$(千金保孕丸), Agyotang(阿膠湯), Gungguibojungtang(芎歸補中湯), Taewon$\breve{u}$m(胎元飮), Gotaej$\breve{o}$n(固胎煎), Baekchulj$\breve{o}$n(白朮煎), Sas$\breve{o}$ngsan(四聖散), Gyegibokryonghwan(桂枝茯苓丸), $Dangguich\breve{o}ng\breve{u}mtang$(當歸千金湯). 5. 메니에르 병 환자의 허실별(虛實別) 치험례 (Clinical Reports of the Meniere's Disease in the Diagnosis of Deficiency-Excess)

  • Meniere's disease is an idiopathic syndrome of endolymphatic hydrops characterized by episodic vertigo, tinnitus, fluctuating hearing loss and ear fullness. The etiology and pathophysiology of the disease is still disputed. As yet, no treatment has conclusively modified the clinical course of the condition and thereby prevented the associated progressive hearing loss. We observed two cases of Meniere's disease treated with oriental herbal medication by the diagnosis of Deficiency-Excess. One patient had taken BangHyunOnDam-tang, and the other had taken ChungGanESa-tang. After treatment, vertigo attacks were controlled in both. Tinnitus and hearing loss were improved in one patient and unchanged in the other. Therefore, we believe that oriental herbal treatment may be a therapeutic modality that is effective in controlling Meniere's disease.

태권도 자유 품새에 적용하기 위한 뛰어 앞차기 착지 동작의 상해 예방 전략 (Injury Prevention Strategies of Landing Motion of Jumping Front Kick to Apply Free Style Poomsae of Taekwondo)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the injury factors of Taekwondo jumping kick during landing phase according to the experience of injury and to suggest a stable landing movement applicable to free style Poomsae. Method: The participants were non-injury group (NG), n = 5, age: 20.5±0.9 years; height: 171.6±3.6 cm; body weight: 65.7±4.4 kg; career: 5.0±2.7 years. Injury group (IG), n = 9, age: 21.0±0.8 years; height: 170.9±4.6 cm; body weight: 67.1±7.0 kg; career: 8.6±5.0 years. The variables are impact force, loading rate, vertical stiffness, lower limb joint angle, stability, balance, and muscle activity in the landing phase. Results: NG was statistically larger than IG in the gluteus medius (p<.05). The impact force, loading rate and vertical stiffness decreased as the landing foot angle, the ROM of lower limb joint angle and COM displacement increased (p<.05). Conclusion: Based on the results, it means that the landing foot angle plays an important role in the impact reduction during landing phase. It is required the training to adjust the landing foot angle.

Amperometric Immunosensor for Myeloperoxidase in Human Serum Based on a Multi-wall Carbon Nanotubes-Ionic Liquid-Cerium Dioxide Film-modified Electrode

  • A label-free amperometric immunosensor has been proposed for the detection of myeloperoxidase (MPO) in human serum. To fabricate such an immunosensor, a composite film consisting of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium tetrafluoroborate ($EMIMBF_4$) suspension was initially formed on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Then cerium dioxide ($CeO_2$) dispersed by chitosan was coated on the GCE. After that, MPO antibodies (anti-MPO) were attached onto the nano$CeO_2$ surface. With a noncompetitive immunoassay format, the antibody-antigen complex formed between the immobilized anti-MPO and MPO in sample solution. The immunosensor was characterized by cyclic voltammetry, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The factors influencing the performance of the immunosensor were studied in detail. Under optimal conditions, the current change before and after the immunoreaction was proportional to MPO concentration in the range of 5 to $300\;ng\;mL^{-1}$ with a detection limit of $0.2\;ng\;mL^{-1}$.

Effects of Inoculated Bacillus subtilis on Geosmin and 2-Methylisoborneol Removal in Suspended Growth Reactors Using Aquacultural Waste for Biofloc Production

  • Geosmin and 2-methylisoborneol (2-MIB) are two of the most common taint compounds that adversely affect the quality of aquacultural animals. In the present study, 94% of geosmin and 97% of 2-MIB in suspended growth reactors producing bioflocs (SGRs) with aquaculture waste were removed after inoculation with Bacillus subtilis, significantly higher than that of control SGRs (70% of geosmin and 86.4% of 2-MIB). The lowest concentrations of geosmin and 2-MIB achieved in the effluent of the SGRs were 2.43 ± 0.42 ng/l and 2.23 ± 0.15 ng/l, respectively. The crude protein content of the bioflocs produced in the SGRs was 35 ± 4%. The NH4+-N and NO2--N concentrations in the effluent of the reactors were 1.13 ± 0.21 mg/l and 0.42 ± 0.04 mg/l, respectively. These results suggest that inoculated with Bacillus subtilis, SGRs have a better performance to reuse the nitrogen in fish waste and to remove geosmin and 2-MIB from the culture water efficiently.

Comparative bioavailability of synthetic vitamin C and Nutra-C (calcium ascorbate) in Korean healthy volunteers

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the relative bioavailability of synthetic Vitamin C and Nutra-C® (calcium ascorbate) using a randomized parallel pharmacokinetics study design. Under fasting conditions, 20 healthy volunteers were randomly allocated to receive a single oral dose (500 mg of ascorbic acid) of either synthetic Vitamin C or Nutra-C®. Fasting blood was collected pre-dose and 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 10 hr post-dose. The ascorbic acid content of human serum was determined using HPLC with ultraviolet detection. The fasting serum ascorbic acid concentrations of synthetic Vitamin C and Nutra-C® were 6.734 ± 2.09 ng/mL (n = 10) and 7.542 ± 2.96 ng/mL (n = 10), respectively. The bioavailability of Nutra-C® was significantly greater (128 %, p < 0.05) than that of the synthetic Vitamin C.

크로몬 유도체의 물성 및 활성검색 (Properties and Activitiy Screening of Chromone Derivatives)

  • We have synthesized 4-isonitroso-4H-1-benzopyran and 4-amino-2,3-dihydro -4H-1-benzopyran of chromone derivatives by using condensation method. Physico-chemical properties of these compounds were measured and analyzed by UV and HPLC method. The correlation coefficient of their methanol solutions by UV were 0.9992 and 0.9994, respectively. And oxime compound was resolved within 4 min and had a detection limit of 3 ng at S/N=3 by HPLC using a reversed phase column with three solvents(MeOH, $H_2O$, HAc). The amino compound was resolved within 4.5 min and had a detection limit of 10 ng at S/N=3 by HPLC under the same conditions. Anti-diabetic effect of chromone derivatives were investigated in the streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. Diabetes was induced in male Sprague-Dawley rats by injections of STZ (45 mg/kg, i.v). The investigation of the hair growth effect of isonitrosobenzopyran and 4-aminobenzopyran on the hair of black mouse (C57BL/6) was also carried out. The administraion of their ethanol solution to the black mouse (C57BU/6) through skin them promoted the growth of hair.

항산화제와 Growth Factor 혼합첨가가 돼지 체외수정란의 체외배양에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Antioxidants Plus Growth Factors on In Vitro Development of Porcine IVM/IVF Embryos)

  • 본 연구는 일정량의 항산화제(NAC, ebselen 및 GSH)와 성장인자(EGF, PDGF)의 혼합첨가가 돼지 체외수정란의 체외배양에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 1. NCSU 23 배양액에 NAC 1nm과 NAC에 EGF 100ng/$m\ell$비 및 PDGF 5ng/$m\ell$를 각각 혼합 첨가하여 체외배양을 실시한 결과, 상실배기 이상 발육된 체외발육율은 각각 28.1%, 32.3% 및 35.3%로서 NAC와 PDGF 혼합처리구가 대조 구보다 다소 높은 체외발육율을 나타냈으나 통계적 유의성은 없었다(P>0.05). 2. NCSU 23 배양액에 ebselen 10$\mu\textrm{m}$과 ebselen에 EGF 100ng/$m\ell$ 및 PDGF 5ng/$m\ell$를 각각 혼합첨가하여 체외발육율을 조사한 결과, 상실 배기 이상 발육된 수정란의 체외발육율은 각각 17.8%, 36.9% 및 40.3%로 ebselen과 성장인자의 혼합처리구가 대조구보다 통계적 유의하게 높은 체외발육율을 나타냈다(P<0.05). 3. NCSU 23 배양액에 GSH 100$\mu\textrm{m}$과 GSH에 EGF 100ng/$m\ell$ 및 PDGF 5ng/$m\ell$를 각각 혼합 첨가배양하여 상실배기 이상 발육된 수정란의 체외발육율은 각각 24.4%, 30.5% 및 27.7%로 GSH과 EGF 혼합처리구가 여타구보다 다소 높은 체외발육율을 나타냈지만 통계적 유의성은 없었다(P>0.05). 4. 모든 처리구에서 배반포기 수정란의 세포수는 커다란 차이가 인정되지 않았으나(P>0.05), 체외배양액에 ebselen과 성장인자를 혼합첨가하여 체외배양한 처리구에서는 대조구에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 세포수를 나타냈다.(P<0.05).
