We investigated the anti-proliferative effects of a new compound. ircinin-1. from the sponge Sarcotragus sp. on SK-MEL -2 human skin cancer cells. From the data of MTT assay, cell viability was decreased by ircinin-1 in a dose-dependent manner. We observed that the anti-proliferative effect of ircinin-1 was due to the induction of apoptosis, which was confirmed by observing the morphological changes. the increased ratio of pro-apoptotic protein Bax to anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2, and cleavage of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase protein, via activation of caspase-3. This paper examined economic liberalization and corruption in ASEAN member affect Korea's foreign direct investment. We use 160 (country-year) observations from ASEAN 10 member countries for a period of 16 years from 2001 to 2016, with the Economic Liberalization Index provided by the Fraser Institute and the corruption recognition index provided by the International Transparency Organization. As results, economic liberalization showed a non-linear(U shaped) effect on foreign direct investment and corruption has a negative effect on foreign direct investment.

Give high priority to the technologies that can be directly applicable to the U-City development projects which are in progress by many central and local governments. Create a real world product at the end of R&D phase by testing prototypes in test-beds or test-labs. Recently, new construction technologies have been developed, but they are rarely being applied to the construction filed. In this paper, the basic design was examined so that various technologies can be selected through a test-bed, analyzed for the real situation, and applied to actual construction sites. Improve productivity of regional and urban construction exercises and improve competitiveness of related products and services using IT-based telemetering/GIS technology.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of GnRH or estradiol in a CIDR-based timed Al (TAI) protocol on follicular turnover, synchronized ovulation and pregnancy rates in Holstein cows. Cows were treated at random stages of the estrus cycle with an insertion of an intravigal progesterone (1.9 g) device (CIDR, Day 0) and either no other treatment (control group; n=10), injection of 100 ug fertirelin acetate (GnRH group; n=10) or 4 mg estradiol benzoate (estradiol group; n=10). Seven days later devices were removed and an injection of 25 mg $PGF_{2$\alpha$}$ was administered. On Day 9, 100 ug GnRH was administered. Cows received a fixed-time insemination 16 h after injection of the GnRH. (중략)

The numerous changes made during the Japanese colonial rule became the basis of the current housing in Korea. Therefore, in order to understand the modern Korean housing, it is essential to understand what the Korean traditional life styles admitted or changed, and how the foreign culture of that time influenced the Korean housing under the Japanese colonial rule. Content analysis through literature review was utilized for the study, and specific sources were research papers, books, magazines, newspapers, and novels. The period during the Japanese invasion was the most active era of modernization in the Korean history. For the housing culture, especially, it can be considered as the most significant period that accepted new housing cultures that replaced the old traditional housing. The Japanese and the Western styles of housing were introduced, new materials and collective production methods were used, and the symbol of the current urban housing in Korea, multi-family dwelling, was constructed. In conclusion, the Koreans did not directly use the Japanese and western housing culture, which were constructed during the Japanese colonial period. They were adapted and altered into Korean style, and eventually, produced various eclectic housing styles.

A polymeric host for triplet emitters composed of N-alkylcarbazole and tetramethylbenzene units was successfully synthesized. Efficient energy transfer was observed between this polymeric host and green phosphorescent dyes. The device fabricated using 5 wt% green 1 in the polymeric host as the emitting layer showed the best performance. Thin films of this host-guest system, exhibiting clear stripe patterns could be prepared through the LITI process. The patterned films were then used to fabricate electrophosphorescent devices, which show performance characteristics similar to those of spin-coated devices. The new host material is a good candidate to be used in polymer-based full-color electrophosphorescent light-emitting displays.

This thesis researched the ritual dress of Korean new religions such as Suungyo, Mirubulgyo, Taejonggyo and WonBuddhism, According to kind, color, cloth and shape this thesis analyzed the ritual dress of them on the basis of its literatures. I. The results of the ritual dress of them through its literatures are as follows: 1. In case of Suungyo, there are Songwansonbok, Togwandobok, Pulmogwan, Ch'onui, Chap'ae , Yukhwangang, Pobdae, Hakp'yo and Kyonjang in its kind. In its color there are Huk, Cha, Hoe, Chahwang, Hong, Paek, Hwang, ROk, and Nam. Chemical fiber with one layer is used in its cloth. Its shape is made by a comprise between the feature of Korean dress, chuui and that of the existing dress of Confucianim, Buddhism and Taoism. 2. In case of Mirukbulgyo, Inhwag-wan, Chongbok, P'oui, Tae, Moson, Yomju and tanju are systematized in its kind. In its color there are Paek, Huk, ch'ong,Chok, Ok and Rok, Kongdan and chemical fiber with one layer are used in its cloth. Its shape has a symbolic form of Yu'Pul and son based upon Korean dress, Chuui. In its symbol Inhwagwan symbolized Confucianism and Chongbok Taoism and P'oui Buddhism. 3. In case of Taejonggyo, there are Chusabok, Sjhobok, Yewonbok, Chusamo, Yewonmo, Tae and Hwa in its kind. In its color there are Paek(main one), Nam, Huk, Chaju, Chok, Hwang and Hoe. Kongdan with both sides is elaborately used in its cloth. Its shape thken from Korean dress means the succession of the national spirit of the white-clad folk. 4. In case of won Buddhism, there are kybok and Pobrak in its kind. In its color there are Paek, Huk and Hoe---especially, both Hwangt'o and Hwang are used in Pobrak, Anyone can use cloth at his will. In its shape Kyoblk for man is Yangbok and Kyobok for woman is Tongch'ima and Chogori, a style of Korean dress. Pobrak is a form Tanryong worm with Rakja.

Eleven steroid hormones (SHs: androstene-3,17-dione, estrone, ${\beta}$-estradiol, ${\alpha}$-estradiol, testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone, $17{\acute{a}}$-hydroxyprogesterone, medroxyprogesterone, megestrol acetate, progesterone, and androsterone) were detected from New Zealand deer (Cervus elaphus var. scoticus) velvet antler (NZA, 鹿茸 ). A method for the quantification of eleven SHs was established by using ultraperformance liquid chromatography (UPLC)-MS/MS. The linearities ($R^2$ > 0.991), limits of quantification (LOQ values, 0.3 ng/mL to 23.1 ng/mL), intraday and interday precisions (relative standard deviation: RSD < 2.43%), and recovery rates (97.3% to 104.6%) for all eleven SHs were determined. In addition, a method for the quantification of three 7-oxycholesterols (7-O-CSs: 7-ketocholesterol, $7{\alpha}$-hydroxycholesterol, and $7{\beta}$-hydroxycholesterol) in the NZA was established by using an HPLC-photodiode array (PDA) method. The linearities ($R^2$ > 0.999), LOQ values (30 ng/mL to 350 ng/mL), intraday and interday precisions (RSD < 1.93%), and recovery rates (97.2% to 103.5%) for the three 7-O-CSs were determined. These quantitative methods are accurate, precise, and reproducible. As a result, it is suggested that the five steroid compounds of androstene-3,17-dione, androsterone, 7-ketocholesterol, $7{\alpha}$-hydroxycholesterol, and $7{\beta}$-hydroxycholesterol could be marker steroids of NZA. These methods can be applied to quantify or standardize the marker steroids present in NZA.

광복 이후의 한국 화단은 일본화풍의 탈피와 전통회화의 재인식 및 재창조를 통한 한국적 미의식을 확립하고 자 탐구하였다. 조선 후기 호남 화단의 실질적 종조(宗祖)라 불리었던 소치(小癡)의 손자로 태어난 남농(南農) 허건(許楗)(1908~1987)은 이러한 한국 화단의 현실을 직시하고 한국 남종화의 전통을 계승하면서 이를 변유적으로 재인식·재창조하여 현대적 서구양식과 실경을 융합한 파격적 구도로 '신남화(新南畵)'의 새로운 영역을 개척하는 등 한국 남종화를 현대적으로 계승 발전시킨 한국화단의 거목이다. 남농(南農)의 회화세계는 관지(款識)를 근거로 하여 1930년대 '남농산인(南農山人)' 시기, 1940년대 중반~50년대 초반 '남농외사(南農外史)' 시기, 그 이후의 '운임산방주인(雲林山房主人)' 시기 등 총 3시기로 나누어 살펴볼 수 있다. 남농산인(南農山人) 시기는 소치(小癡)와 미산(米山)의 전통 남화의 가전화풍을 온전히 습득하고, 선전(鮮展) 출품을 위한 일본화풍의 반영으로 향토적 실경을 많이 다루어 가전화풍과 일본화풍의 혼재기이다. 남농외사(南農外史) 시기에는 해방 이후 새로운 조형성을 전통 남화풍에서 탐색하였다. 특히 남도의 풍경과 정감을 기반으로 하여 자유분방한 농담 조절과 함께 속필과 독필, 갈필로 대상을 표현하면서 서정성과 향토애 짙은 실경향토화와 산수화에 주력하였다. 운임산방주인(雲林山房主人) 시기는 현대미술의 흐름에 어느 정도 부합하면서도 전통 회화에 걸맞는 사의적 문향이 넘치는 구도로 차츰 생략화되면서 개성적 화법을 강하게 드러낸 갈필, 독필, 속필의 적절한 운용을 통해 수묵담채의 서정적인 산수와 소나무를 많이 그렸다. 그의 산수화와 향토화는 누구에게나 체험적인 친근감과 정감을 자아내게 하는 모습을 담고 있으며 향수애와 자연애를 담고 있다. 남농(南農)은 이를 '신남화(新南畵)'로 명명하였다. 남농(南農)은 '남화연구원'을 설립, 후진양성에 진력하였는데, 이곳에서 임인(林人)의 아들인 許文과 남농(南農)의 장손자인 허전(許塡) 등이 수련하여 5대째 운림산방의 화맥을 계승하고 있다.

In this paper, we present a new texture image retrieval method which combines color and texture features extracted from images by a set of multi-resolution multi-direction (MRMD) filters. The MRMD filter set chosen is simple and can be separable to low and high frequency information, and provides efficient multi-resolution and multi-direction analysis. The color space used is HSV color space separable to hue, saturation, and value components, which are easily analyzed as showing characteristics similar to the human visual system. This experiment is conducted by comparing precision vs. recall of retrieval and feature vector dimensions. Images for experiments include Corel DB and VisTex DB; Corel_MR DB and VisTex_MR DB, which are transformed from the aforementioned two DBs to have multi-resolution images; and Corel_MD DB and VisTex_MD DB, transformed from the two DBs to have multi-direction images. According to the experimental results, the proposed method improves upon the existing methods in aspects of precision and recall of retrieval, and also reduces feature vector dimensions.
