The technical proposal bidding system emphasizes the evaluation of the construction company's technical capabilities, with the aim of improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of the construction. However, in the VE analysis and proposal process for technical proposal bidding, the ideas are often reused from similar past construction projects, and the application of new construction technologies/methods is often lacking. Therefore, this study proposes a methodology for managing VE proposal information by integrating it into a BIM model using parametric modeling. This research developed database based on the existing VE proposals and new construction technology/method information from the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology. And by using parametric modeling, the proposed method integrate the VE database with BIM model. The methodology proposed in this study is expected to improve the reliability and effectiveness of VE-related idea proposals in technical proposal bidding.

Medical devices separated by a committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC TC (Technical Committee) 62 medical electrical equipment being promoted by the International standards. Actually, a lot of standards were existed, but many national and international standards for medical devices were lacking in practical standards that can be applied to their development. Most international standards were focused in electrical and mechanical safety of medical devices. Therefore, there were few practical standards which contain essential performance evaluation. Although medical device regulations do not enforce a fixed lifecycle model, activities are presented in a sequential manner, thus hinting at a waterfall process. Meanwhile, for a decade or more, software teams have benefitted from agile development methods. Several medical device manufacturers have adopted agile practices while keeping development in compliance with regulations, but conflicts arise and decisions have to be taken in favor of agility or formality. However, if there are new practical standards of medical devices, it must be possible to promote the medical devices industry in their nation. To do this, there is a need to develop a new standard could apply to the international market through the analysis of the medical device related technology. Consequently, new standards such as NP (New proposal) or NWIP (New Work Item Proposal) should be developed through international standardization of medical device technology.

This landscape design proposal was presented to a design competition for the master plan of Ttukseom Sup, which was held by the City of Seoul in March, 2003. The site is located at 1-685, Sungsu-dong, Sung-dong-gu and has an area of 1,156,498$m^2$. The judging criteria for landscape design set by the City of Seoul could be articulated as follows: first, the proposal should be nature-oriented with groves that can be accessed easily by citizens; second, the proposal should not be facilities-oriented but plants-oriented groves that utilize existing plants; third, the proposal should present its own identity reflecting its historical aspects and geographical location. This proposal has been approached first by redefining the meanings of the old Korean village groves and second, by proposing new cultural infrastructures with the groves corresponding to recent cultural trends.

Fixed cycle traffic signal controller is pattern type controller. This method is that one concluding traffic proposal affect fixed cycle controller to deciding cycle time during 24 hours. Traffic intersection jam is caused traffic controller supervisor input wrong traffic proposal. The available to traffic controller is traffic proposal is not selected by an outward look but propriety traffic proposal is compared with each other. This paper presents that property traffic proposal adopted to fixed cycle controller by fuzzy analytic hierachy process and new proposal adopted fixed cycle controller is compared with others.

This design proposal was accepted to a design competition for the improvement of Indi Youth Street, Mapo-Gu, which was held by the Seoul Metropolitan Government in June, 2000. The \`Hong-ik University District\` projected area consists of several streets, where the independent and youth culture unique to this area is blossoming-Indi music, underground arts, and historic meaning of the area as an estuary of Mapo. The site is also expected to attract many citizens and fereigners because of convenient accessibility of the new subway station to the Inchon International Airport and because of many attractions on the street- foods, music, art and people. Accordingly, the proposal set the main design concept of this project as \`the Street of Youth Culture\` considering its special and social status as well as the physical improvement of the street environment. With this concept in mind, the proposal designed the improvement of the physical conditions based on the motive of \`the Street of Youth Culture\`, having Indi/under art, Indi/ under music, Indi/under drama and Indi/multimedia animation. This design proposal of the Street of Youth Culture consist of three segments, which symbolize the millenium Youth Plaza, MultiMedia Animation Pocket and Arts Exhibition Pocket based on unity and balance. This plan has the ultimate aim of making the district one of the people\`s favorite streets in Seoul, which people love to visit again and find the vivacity of the new millennium youth culture.

Conventional CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) system has limitations come from sampling frequency and quantization bit, 44.1kHz and 16 bit respectively. So, new medium is developed for high-resolution audio recording, like as DVD-audio etc. But CDDA is a widely used medium for high fidelity audio yet, because new medium has complexity and difficulty in manufacturing system. In this paper, we design a new encoding system for high-resolution audio signal. The system is backward compatible with conventional CDDA. By evaluation for encoding and decoding process, we describe practicability of our proposal system.
