  • Recently, power requirement has been increasing. But the large generation unit is hardly installed because of economic and environment problem. Therefore, the concern for DG(distributed generation) is growing. Present, allowable interconnection capacity of DG for composite distributed generation is studied. In this paper, it is studied that the new interconnection capacity of DG for composite distribution system interconnected DG. We study new allowable interconnection capacity by power factor and placement. We study SERV(sending end reference voltage) variation and allowable interconnection capacity interconnected new DG.

  • In this paper, computer modeling works have been performed for the power generation Rankine cycle using new working fluids and liquefied natural gas (LNG) cold heat. PRO/II with PROVISION released January 2023 from AVEVA company was used, and Peng-Robinson equation of the state model with Twu's alpha function was selected for the modeling of the power generation cycle. Optimal working fluid composition was determined to maximize LNG cold heat to increase power generation efficiency and net power production.

  • The study of young people's attitudes towards appearance management has special significance for understanding young people's living, thought and attitudes. It was handed out 600 questionnaires in the three cities and look 573 questionnaires back, out of which 552 were used as the basic material for the analysis. These 522 questionnaires included 178 in Beijing, 200 in Shanghai, 175 in Dalian. 154 questions in four aspects were raised in the questionnaires. The purpose of this study were to identify the Chinese generation' lifestyle and fashion attitudes. Questionnaires developed by researcher were distributed and collected from 552 chinese new generation of the three cities(178 in Beijing, 200 in Shanghai, 175 in Dalian). 1) Life attitudes of new generation men and women in China were classified into five factors, which were extravagant pleasure-seeking, sports-oriented, marriage-oriented, appearance-oriented and study-oriented attitudes. 2) Fashion attitudes of new generation men and women in China were classified into eight factors, which were fashion attitude of being conscious of others, others-dependent fashion attitude, rational fashion attitude, brand-pursuing fashion attitude, active appearance management fashion attitude, unique fashion attitude, fashion attitude of being conscious of sex role and individuality-oriented fashion attitude.

  • As the distributed generation becomes more reliable and economically feasible, it is expected that a higher application of the distributed generation units would be interconnected to the existing grids. This new market penetration using the distributed generation technology is linked to a large number of factors like economics and performance, safety and reliability, market regulations, environmental issues, or grid connection standards. KEPCO, a government company in Korea, has performed the project to identify and evaluate the performance of Micro Gas Turbine(MGT) technologies focused on 30, 60kW-class grid-connected optimization and combined Heat & Power performance. This paper describes the results for the mechanical, electrical, and environmental tests of MGT on actual grid-connection under Korean regulations. As one of the achievements, the simulation model of Exhaust-gas Absorption Chiller was developed, so that it will be able to analyze or propose new distributed generation system using MGT. In addition, KEPCO carried out the field testing of the MGT Cogeneration system at the R&D Center Building, KEPCO. The field test was conducted in order to respond to a wide variety of needs for heat recovery and utilization. The suggested method and experience for the evaluation of the distributed generation will be used for the introduction of other distributed generation technologies into the grid in the future.

  • The baby boomers born between 1955 and 1974, recently called the new age, form a huge population group and show characteristics different from the previous traditional older generations. With the retirement of those who make up 33% of the nation's population in earnest, the emergence of a new generation of the elderly population and policy changes are required. The new middle age generation, also called the opal generation, want to spend their old age productively and autonomously, which has increased due to the increase in life expectancy, and have some economic ability, such as enjoying overseas travel in old age. As preparation for old age is insufficient, policy attention is required for the younger generation as a new generation. In this paper, focusing on the baby boom generation, the definition of the opal generation, their consumption lifestyle, attitudes, social activities, leisure activities, and lifestyle such as health efforts are investigated, and job creation, social re-education, and local It is intended to present practical measures for preparing for old age, such as the establishment of medical facilities and social consideration for a leisurely cultural life.

  • A current of culture changes constantly. The changes in culture have been taken the lead in by new generations. Now, we are connected with a new trend of culture led by new generation. Moreover, it is the younger class from teens to mid-twenties, that is, the new generation group that plays a major part in the new culture. They, in economic affluence, are accustomed to a particular consumption-oriented purchasing pattern in their own way while the old generations had to tighten their belts. A business cannot help getting fascinated with their potential consuming power. The new generation has established itself as a powerful individual consumer class, and is presenting more and more explosive and destructive purchasing pattern in today's consumption market where turmoil of IMF is at the end and 21st century started. As of now, it cannot be emphasized too much to research their consuming culture and tendency. It is suggested that existing designers work out a marketing strategy based on a close investigation of their disposition and cultural characteristics and go on looking into what the properties of a new coming generation's culture vary every time generations change in order to take them to a future consumer group.

  • 21C, the age of culture, has the effects on the whole aspects in society with its cultural features, and the social changes become the foundation to create the new culture. The W generation, which accounts for Woman, World, Well-being, and Web, etc, leads the trend as 'a new group of powerful consumers' of establishing a new pattern. The W generation prefers psychidelic make-up using pearl through the cyber space, a space for communication like the N generation. In addition, through the Internet, leading the society of fusion or hybrid, with gender and age broken-up, the feminine as well as kidult-like make-up has emerged. On the other hand, with the influence of well-being on the whole society, well-looking appears outside, and lohas inside. The W generation prefers glossy make-up in order to make the skin healthy and polished, and eco-friendly products with lohas.

  • This paper focuses on the sequences between game performance, game experience, game generation. Present-day the game has powerful effects to form new human species as game generation. Especially, the experience game is important because it could have one of the most powerful effect by characteristics of own interface. First of all, this paper analyzes a experience of the experience game and researches the game-extended space. Secondly, We create concept of 'new game generation' in order to explain new human species on the experience game.   • Objective: This paper focuses on the new trend of applying NUI(natural user interface) such as gesture interaction into television and investigates on the design improvement needed in application. The intention is to find better design direction of NUI on television context, which will contribute to making new features and behavioral changes occurring in next-generation television more practically usable and meaningful use experience elements. Background: Traditional television is rapidly evolving into next-generation television thanks to the influence of "smartness" from mobile domain. A number of new features and behavioral changes occurred from such evolution are on their way to be characterized as the new experience elements of next-generation television. Method: A series of expert review by television UX professionals based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was conducted to check on the "relative appropriateness" of applying gesture interaction to a number of selected television user experience scenarios. Conclusion: It is critical not to indiscriminately apply new interaction techniques like gesture into television. It may be effective in demonstrating new technology but generally results in poor user experience. It is imperative to conduct consistent validation of its practical appropriateness in real context. Application: The research will be helpful in applying gesture interaction in next-generation television to bring optimal user experience in.
