관·학·민 협력 융복합 교육 캡스톤디자인 모델 제시 - 아동권리증진을 위한 패션제품개발 사례를 중심으로 - (A proposal of capstone design model for government, academic, and civil cooperative convergence education - A case study on the development of fashion products for the promotion of child rights -)

  • In this study, the purpose of the research is to present a cooperative convergence education Capstone design operational model that can promote community relations by spreading excellent practices through governmental, academic, and civil cooperation, ultimately contributing to the development of systematic plans among cooperative groups for successful promotion, and the production high effects in the fashion sector. The case study presented a new model that combines convergence in interdisciplinary studies, focusing on the case study of the "Fashion Capstone Design" textbook. The characteristics of the proposed model suggested three types of convergence- the convergence of government, academia and private cooperation, and the convergence of academic and civil organizations, depending on their role. The proposed educational model has the advantage of complementing and dealing with the difficulties presented by interdisciplinary education. It also has the effect of activating community linkages with colleges in the community. In addition, the effectiveness of community colleges and community links can be optimized. Through the example of this study, we look forward to being used as a references for a variety of cooperative convergence education capstone design projects.

의류브랜드 소비자의 고객관계관리 경험에 관한 탐색적 연구 - 남성복, 여성복, 캐주얼, 스포츠의류 소비자의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Qualitative Research about the CRM Experiences of Apparel Brand Customers)

  • The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze customer relationship management(CRM) based on the online customer experiences by product types (i.e., men's, women's, casual, sports wear), 2) to analyze CRM based on the off-line customer experiences by product type, and 3) to examine customer purchase behavior of fashion products and internet usage behavior by product types. Survey and 1:1 interview were conducted from January 13th to May 16th, 2005. Six consumers from each brand (i.e., 3 loyal customers and 3 general customers) in a total of 24 customers were selected from each product type. For the data analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics (i.e. frequency) were used. Among the key study findings first, as a result of the on-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear preferred receiving customized information through e-mail or SMS service. The customers of sports wear preferred receiving a different level of information and participating in customized product service. Second, as a result of the off-line CRM experience, the customers of men's wear need to be encouraged to join a membership at a sales encounter and the customers of women's wear preferred receiving quick information of new products and participating in a design development planning of the merchandising process. Third, the purchasing behavior of the customers of women's wear are influenced mostly by the salesperson and the store atmosphere when they purchase clothes and the customers of men's wear are price-sensitive. The results of this study can be used when fashion brands perform strategic planning and decision making on CRM.

견섬유 중량가공 방법 및 실용화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Silk Weighting Process Technique and it's Practical Use)

  • The development of Korean textile industry has continued for the early industrialization. But a change in situation of circumstances, textile industry undergoes hard times. To overcome the barrier, therefore, technical development and design innovation are needed to make high value added product. This paper try to put to practical use of the silk weighting process technique(WPT). First, we investigate the technical trend of WPT to summarize the theory, and examine the feasibility of technical development. Second, the application of Graft process to silk textile is examined to know whether it is possible as an practical use. Next, we present the practical way of WPT using MAA monomer through experiment. The results are as follow. 1) Considering the lack of silk yarn. Graft process is appropriate new technique to make the value added product, and fine quality. 2) Studing textile goods, it need inter-displlinary co-work not only fiber engineering scope because textile goods is closely related with fashion industry. 3) MAA monomer used in this paper is more excellent then other monomer because it has good weighting effect and does not harm to the nature of textile. 4) MAA WPT is good for silk textiles of ladies jacket and neck-tie.

현대 패션에서의 테크놀로지 컨버전스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Technology Convergence in Contemporary Fashion)

  • This study aims to analyze product samples of convergence of fashion and technology, as convergence is a major trend in the age of digital paradigm, and to propose desirable directions of development for technology convergence in fashion design in the future. With bibliographic research as well as internet search of the cases of development and commercialization of convergence of fashion and technology from the 1960s, when wearable computers were first introduced as an early development form of convergence, to the present, it becomes possible to classify these cases into three groups: functionally oriented one, aesthetically oriented one, and one that combines function and aesthetics. The pros and cons of each group of these cases are discussed and an evolutionary trend is observed from the earlier stage of convergence with functionally oriented cases which tried to achieve specific purposes of the time to the later stage of convergence with emphasis on both function and aesthetics which reflects the sensitivity of the general wearers. When three groups are plotted in the positioning map with one axis of function-aesthetics and the other of industry-fashion designer, however, all three are located outside of the two axes, suggesting these elements are not very well combined. In order for the products of the fashion-technology convergence in the future to receive favorable response from the consumers, it is necessary for the fashion industry to develop a close collaboration with companies of digital technology and the convergence products not only will have to provide functional benefits of the new technology but also to satisfy the aesthetic demands of the wearers.

밀레니얼 세대의 Babywearing 제품에 대한 인식: 텍스트 분석 접근 (Millennial parents' perception of babywearing products: A text analysis approach)

  • The baby-tech industry, which combines IT with existing parenting product, is attracting increasing amounts of attention. Consequently various types of baby products incorporating functionality and design are being launched. In recent years, particularly as the market segments increases for babywearing products, parenting products that account for the child's comfort and parents' convenience are required. Therefore, this study examines the characteristics and consumer perception of babywear products, which are important for the emotional stability, development, and rearing of children. The study utilizes text mining and a network analysis by collecting unstructured text data. An examination of the network, based on the frequency of keywords for each babywear product and the degree of the connection to the centering index, revealed that consumers value convenience and price when purchasing products. The consumer perception and consideration factors that appear individually according to the product were also identified. In addition, studying body parts with high TF-IDF values revealed a difference in the body parts considered by consumers for each product. Lastly, through the visualization data based on the keywords that appeared in public, commonly appearing keywords, and those that appeared individually were examined. Through SNS, product characteristics as well as a new parenting culture that shared child-rearing routines were confirmed. This study suggests planning and marketing directions for the development of babywear products that meet consumer needs.

손목형 웨어러블 디바이스 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influential Factors of Purchase Intention of Wrist Wearable Device)

  • 최근 스마트폰 시장의 성장세가 둔화되면서 IOT 산업을 이끌어갈 새로운 성장 동력으로 웨어러블 디바이스가 부상하고 있다. 본 연구는 웨어러블 디바이스의 확산에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하고자 소비자 측면에서 웨어러블 디바이스의 제품 속성(지각된 유용성, 지각된 사용용이성)과 소비자의 개인적 특성 요인(혁신성, 유행선도력, 자기효능감, 건강관심도) 가운데 구매 의도에 미치는 영향을 잠재적 이용자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 통해 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 소비자의 개인적 특성 중에서는 유행 선도력과 건강 관심도, 제품 속성에서는 지각된 유용성과 지각된 사용 용이성이 웨어러블 디바이스의 구매 의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 웨어러블 디바이스 역시 유용성과 사용 용이성이 구매 의사에 결정적인 영향을 주기 때문에 소비자의 이용 경험을 고려한 제품 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

전통규방공예를 이용한 문화상품 개발 (Development of Culture Goods with Traditional Lady's Art Craft Work)

  • In the tide of globalization, culture products play pivotal role in effectively introducing our tradition and culture to the world. This research is about developing culture products using our traditional lady's art craft work to attain the purpose of modern application through recreation of tradition along with modern technology. First, the types of traditional lady's art craft work include pouches, wrapping clothes and other accessories made by sewing except costumes. The materials used were cotton, silk, ramie, hemp and decorating techniques involved were embroidery, patchwork, quilting, knot. Second, the purpose of this study is developing culture products with traditional images which also satisfy modern sense. Therefore, items that could be used readily in daily life were selected. Such items include bags, mufflers, name card cases, brooches. In addition, the Korean traditional Patchwork images which have both western-style and modern sense were selected out of the many kinds of traditional lady's art craft works. Third, cultural products (bags, mufflers, name card cases, brooches) were created by DTP in silk with sacdong and free-styled division Korean traditional Patchwork images and quilting technique. The significance of this study lies in examining the possibility of developing modern culture products using traditional lady's art craft work. A way to further develop this study would be to shed new light on traditional crafts and local cultural resources and actively carry on the study of cultural product development to provide the foundation for developing cultural products with modern applications.

패션기업의 특허.실용신안 등록현황에 관한 연구 -IPC분류코드 A41B와 A41D를 중심으로- (A Study on the Registration of Patent and Utility Models by Fashion Firms in Korea -Focus on IPC A41B and A41D-)

  • This study analyzed the registration of patent and utility models by fashion firms in Korea. A total of 2,291 registration cases of IPC A41B-H from the period of 1996 to 2009 were collected by KIPRIS of the Korean Intellectual Property Organization (KIPO). All cases were analyzed by year to review the longitudinal trend and 481 cases of IPC A41B (shirts, underwear, baby linen, and handkerchiefs) and 1088 cases of IPC A41D (outerwear, protective garments, and accessories) were analyzed by content (provided benefit type and developing method), by detailed product items and the characteristics of the applicant. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Registration of IPC 41 increased steeply by the year (especially since 2006) and the patent registrations increased more than those in the utility model. 2) Analyzing the application content of A41B on the basis of benefit showed that 75% were to provide new functions and the rest were for health. In terms of the developing method, 83% of benefit provided by the application were by design development, 11.2% were by material, and the rest was by process, In the cases of IPC A41D, 23.6% were for safety and protection. In terms of the developing method, the process and material development were more frequently adopted than in the cases of A41B. 3) The major product types of A41B were socks, underwear, and infant wear, whereas gloves and parts of clothing were major items in A41D. 4) In terms of the characteristics of the applicant, registration by firms was greater for patents than for utility models and registration by foreigners increased in 2006 due to the complete opening of the retail market. 5) Fifteen universities registered for a total 57 cases and major applications were for IT related clothing or high-tech protective items.

잇세이 미야케의 디자인 발상과 상업화를 위한 전개과정에 대한 연구 (The Development of Commercialization in the Idea of the Fashion Design, Issey Miyake)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how he successfully connected his ideas of fashion design for art with the commerciality without a conflict about for 40 years. It is expected that this study will be a precedent in the aspect of the symmetry between artistry and commercialization in Issey Miyake's works. We will examine Issey Miyake's idea of fashion design and its development for the commercialization since 1970s that he started to give shape to his ideas in the fashion works to exactly commercialize in the market. 1. Re-creation of tradition(a piece of cloth): throughout the 1970s, Miyake continued to experiment with a variety of Eastern design elements. The elements of Japanese or oriental tradition made him to be at the very center of supreme of the world of fashion. He took advantages of his identity, and developed the tradition for mass produce. 2. Design for mass(Pleats Please): Miyake decided to make clothes for the people, not only for the top class of the society. This thought developed the designs for the mass, which were functional, universal for the modem buyer, and accessible to a wide market. He realized his ideal by the medium of pleats, which were made through industrial processes, while he tried variously the aspect of formative of the pleats in the collections. His designs concept is summarized by the industrial product design and anonymous design. 3. Innovation of manufacturing system(A-POC): Miyake in 1999 developed A-POC. A-POC is used modern computers in conjunction with traditional technology. A-POC does not make only a new cloth but also makes a new manufacturing system of clothes.

스팀펑크 특성을 활용한 패션디자인 개발 (The development of fashion design utilizing the characteristics of steampunk)

  • Born in the 19th century as an intermediate between the past and the future, steampunk provides a strong feeling of fantasy. The objective of this research is to understand the utilization of steampunk in all realms through an in-depth literature review and empirical study. Taking the findings as a foundation, we will analyze examples shown in fashion designs that are put into real production, and those designs that can provide inspiration for further design development. The research methodology will constitute a major analysis of advanced research, internet materials, and literature. Photo materials will be collected from professional websites for steampunk. The product method such as follows. Firstly, we will classify the internal meaning of characteristics in steampunk that are similar to the characteristics that are being researched, then take it as the standard and arrange to integrate all five features: restoration, pluralism, duplicity, resistibility and abnormality. We will spread out the design based on images from advanced research. Secondly, in order for to design a steampunk product, I decided on four themes: devastated environment, brutal wars, cool-headed machinery, and the overlap of the future and the past. Inspiration was acquired from representative movies and animations featuring steampunk. Thus, new directions for fashion design with steampunk features can be discovered. It raises the feasibility of this combination in modern society. In the future with the development of technology, it functions as a design that is easy for users to approach.
