4차 산업혁명 대응을 위한 신개념기술시범사업 발전방향 (Development Direction of Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration for the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • The world is now going through the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Major global economies, including the United States, Germany, Japan and China, are fostering industries related to the fourth industrial revolution with policies and investments. South Korea is also setting up its fourth industrial revolution committee under the president, expanding policies and investment to foster industries related to the fourth industrial revolution, and increasing investment in research and development. Accordingly, government and private investment in industries and technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution is made extensively around the world, and many related industries and technologies are being developed. In this paper, we will look into the status and problems of Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration projects that can quickly and easily introduce technologies related to the fourth industrial revolution in the private sector where many developments are taking place, and present the direction of development.

  • During nineteenth century, there broke out a great revolution in the history of girl's costume and with new condition toward girls. 1. Girl's costume followed their mother's attitude of the era and it was influenced by mother's costume. 2. Girl's costume was closely related with politics, economy, society culture and thought of the era. 3. Rousseau's Englightment made a revolution on girl's costume and it was direct revolution which affected on the French Revolution and the independence America. 4. Development of textile industry by industrial revolution brought on a change in raw material, quality, and quantity of textile, more gave a variety to raw material and ornament of girl's costume. 5. The invention of Sewing machine made it possible ready made production of girl's costume.

  • The $4^{th}$ Industry Revolution was advocated by Klaud Schwab who is founder of World Economic Forum at the Davos Forum in 2016, and there are big differences on ICT based $4^{th}$ Industry revolution in the aspects of speed, scope and impact compared with the 3rd Industry revolution. Creating new industries and values through technology such as internet of things, cloud, big data, and artificial intelligence are included in the meaning of The $4^{th}$ industry revolution. In this article, the direction of change to water technology in response to the $4^{th}$ Industry revolution is surveyed. 4G Water Infra should minimize environmental impact under the consideration of sustainable development and advanced technologies. To solve the existing water infra problems, it is common and fundamental that the intake water from nature can be regarded as borrowed from nature and it should be returned to natural state with improved water quality. Government, academic organizations and industries should prepare and collaborate together in order to help our country with outstanding capabilities in infrastructure construction and ICT to lead the 4G water technology development.

  • Recently, the whole world is facing an unprecedented moment of opportunity, so-called The Fourth Industrial Revolution. As emphasized in the World Economic Forum held in January of 2016 at Davos, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is not merely a changes of technological devices. The fundamental of the revolution is new, innovative, and visionary business models which change the whole systems dramatically. One of the greatest challenges is to feed an expected population of 9 billion by 2050 in a impactful way. The system should be sustainable as well as beneficial in improving the lives of people in the food chain along with the ecological health of environment. The technological advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution are expected to improve our food system. The smart farm technology such as precision planting and irrigation techniques will improve the yields of food materials. The smart food transportation and logistics systems will substantially improve the safety and human nutrition. The adaptation the Fourth Industrial Revolution technology will induce the smart supply chains, smart production, and smart products in food industry due to its flexibility and standardization. This will lead the manufactures to adapt to customers' changing product specifications and traceable services in a timely manner.

How Collaborative Innovation and Technology in Educational Ecosystem Can Meet the Challenges Raised by the 4th Industrial Revolution

  • Nowadays, we are standing in front of the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution that is featured by a great range of new and advanced technologies that influences all the domains of economies and industries. The great question that this revolution raises is how it can lead to a future that reflects the peoples' common objectives and values on how these advanced technologies can affect the life and transform the economic, social, cultural, and human environment. It is commonly agreed that to be adapted to these changes and needs and shape a society with competitive economies with highly-skilled individuals, we need to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, new knowledge generation and exchange and true and effective collaboration and communication. In this complex scene, education seems to have a central and critical role on finding new ways of developing expertise and innovation within the existing knowledge procedures, with more and better cooperation between the key players. This paper argues the concepts, opportunities and challenges that are related to the learning ecosystem towards the needs raised by the $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution. The education is discussed as catalyst but also as carrier of innovation and innovation practices and the basis of a relevant framework is presented that takes into account all the aspects, domains and key players of educational world and interacting domains. Having introduced the ideas of innovation, collaboration and technology advancement in this environment, this paper also presents a real case of practice, focusing on how more than 5.000 schools around Europe succeeded the last four (4) years to implement innovation activities in a collaborative way and under a unique but also flexible pedagogical innovation framework.

실험실의 과학 혁명-빅토리아시대 소설에 나타난 '미친' 과학자들의 실험실 (Scientific Revolution in the Lab: Mad Scientists' Labs in Victorian Novels)

  • It is by the mad scientists that the ontological and epistemological turn was made in that scientific era. They achieved a scientific revolution although they were regarded as eccentric, comic, unsound, and evil ones in the dark and dismal labs. Likewise, a scientist who would like to create an anomaly, something novel and abnormal, tended to be considered mad and treated as such either because of his scientific theory which differed from those of other scientists or because his obstinate methodology was often blamed for its immorality and profaneness. Despite the fanciful purpose and the anomalous way in which the mad scientists did their experiments, these were attempts to explore new scientific terrain and find something new or unexpected, which often raised controversies between the old paradigm and the new one. As Thomas Kuhn manifests, subsequently, "an older paradigm is replaced in whole or in part by an incompatible new one" and then, "there must be a conflict between the paradigm that discloses anomaly and the one that later renders the anomaly lawlike." In that sense, Frankenstein's, Jekyll's, and Moreau's eerie challenges can be interpreted as efforts to achieve the ambitious goal of solving the scientific mysteries of the world in such unfavorable environmental conditions as specified in the three novels.

The New Definition of Creative Leadership in the Communication Design Industry - Focused on the 4th Industrial Revolution

  • The aim of this paper is to discuss how designers lead and direct 'technology-driven society' using their creative communication skill. To this end, it is required for communication designers to take conscious steps to recognize the future direction of their profession. Despite the advancement in technology, there is a human being at the center of all design activities. From a certain point of view, contemporary communication design takes an open-ended exploration of the subject matter, rather than a finished output. The notion of creative leadership may potentially expand more in terms of improving the methodology of today's visual culture. The paper will examine creative leadership that could be proposed by the challenge of discourse upon the upcoming industrial revolution. Today, communication designers are confronted by new leadership opportunities and challenges. Some leading designers seem to focus on brand new media technologies to prepare the 4th industrial revolutions. However, communication design cannot be discussed in the medium but can be understood as a process. Top-down and bottom-up process is always a concerned about the relationship since the focus of leadership has changed. In the top-down process, the leadership has existed between 'designer and client' because designers have played their role as a problem solver. On the other hand, there is a different model of leadership between 'design and technology' based on bottom-up process, which stem from the design authorship. In this regard, the new definition of creative leadership in the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution proposes a designer as a problem-finder based on the relationship between the 'designer and the public'.

  • Food industry in Korea is one of the most important manufacturing field since the history of this country. Recent days all industries in the world move to $4^{th}$ industrial revolution beginning from 1st revolution. This means that connections between human to human, human to things and things to things should be settled down. food industry in this country should escape from the conventional manufacturing fields until now and accept new or cutting edge technology NT including artificial intelligence robot system and platform system using Internet of Thing. To overcome the saturation condition of domestic food market, it should be extended our market to overseas. To do this Korean food industry should be reformed the processing system to convergence and fusion inner or multi-disciplinary research in not only research field but also manufacturing field. The food industry must introduce new technology and concept of controlling all manufacturing systems. This paper present the fields should be convergence and the field study together and the new techniques, methods and new products be developed in the future.

특수교사들의 관점에서 바라보는 4차 산업혁명 (A Study on the 4th Industrial Revolution in the View of Special Educational Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 특수교사를 대상으로 4차 산업혁명시대에 특수교육 분야가 무엇을 준비하고 어떻게 나아가야 하는지에 대한 방향을 찾기 위한 기초연구이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위해 대구 경북에 재직 중인 특수교사 117명이 설문지 조사에 참여하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 특수교사들은'4차 산업혁명'이 특수교육에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 것으로 인식하였으나 교육적 환경은 준비되어 있지 않은 것으로 인식하였다. 또한 특수교사들은 4차 산업혁명을 TV와 같은 매체를 통해 알게 되었고, 4차 산업혁명시대에 요구되는 특수교사의 역할과 역량이 더욱 커진다고 인식하였다. 또한 특수교사들은 4차 산업혁명 기반 특수교육이 유용할 것이며, 이를 위한 특수교육 프로그램 개발 및 보급이 요구된다고 인식하였다. 결론적으로 이 연구는 특수교사들이 바라보는 관점에서 4차 산업혁명을 이해하고 특수교육을 지원하기 위한 기초적 근거자료를 제공하는데 그 의미가 있다.
