애니메이션 관련학과 NCS기반 팀 티칭 운영방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on NCS-based Team Teaching Operation in Animation Related Department)

  • 본 연구는 대학 수업에서 애니메이션관련 교육과정에 대해 NCS기반팀 티칭 교수학습사례를 제시하고 있다. NCS 교육은 스펙을 초월하고 채용시스템 정착과 국가직무능력표준 개발, 보급 등 실력과 능력이 존중받는 사회를 구현하기 위해 만들어졌다. 대학에서도 직무중심의 현장 전문인력 중심으로 대학 차원에서 직무특강 및 직무교육을 강화하고 있다. 특히, 애니메이션 분야는 새로운 기술이 급속도로 출현하고 있는 가운데 다양한 분야와의 융합형 인재를 요구하고 있다. 이러한 사회적 요구를 충족하기 위해서는 기존의 1인 1교과 수업방식에 한계가 있을 수 있으며 이를 해결하기 위해서는 직무별 세분화된 교수자의 다양한 참여가 필요하다. 즉, 학생들의 직무 교육 및 취업 창업의 문제를 전공교수 개인의 해결보다는 공동체적으로 해결하는데 목적이 있고 이를 위한 방안으로 팀 티칭을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 얻을 수 있는 기대효과로는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 애니메이션 분야가 갈수록 다양하고 융복합적으로 발전하는 추세에 따라 NCS직무와 관련된 능력단위 또는 능력단위 요소의 수행준거, 지식, 기술에 대한 전공 인력풀 활용으로 교수가 소속된 학과 이외의 타 학과 학생들과 매칭되어 보다 폭넓은 전문적 수업이 가능하다. 둘째, 대학 내부 전문가 교수를 적극적으로 활용하는 제도적 장치가 마련되어 자신의 소속 학과 이외의 타 학과에 부분적인 전문 역량 발휘가 가능하다. 이는 대학 내 교원역량강화 부문으로 연결된다. 셋째, 자신의 학과이외의 전문분야에 연관성 있는 전문교수의 협동수업을 통하여 보다 넓은 의미의 융합적이고 복합적인 대학만의 교육체계구축 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 교내 교수인력풀의 전문특강과 멘토지원의 장점은 외부의 현장 전문가보다 학생의 다양한 이해와 요구를 수용할 수 있는 폭이 넓고, 학생에 대한 다각적인 지도가 책임교수와 이뤄질 수 있다. 학생이 필요로 하는 때 교내에서 쉽게 멘토를 만나 지도를 받기 때문에 시간적, 공간적 제약을 피할 수 있다.

통증어휘를 이용한 통증비율척도의 개발연구 (A Study for Development of Ratio Beale Measuring Pain Using Korean Pain Tersm)

  • The main purpose of this study is to develop a ratio scale measuring level of pain using Korean pain terms. The specific purposes of this study are to identify the degree of pain of each pain term in each subclass: to classify each subclass in terms of dimensions of pain; and to analyze factors of the Korean pain ratio scale clustering together. One hundred an4 fifty eight pain terms which were originally identified as representative terms and their synonyms were used for data collection. Fifty eight nursing professors ana sixty one medical doctors who have contacted with patients having pain were asked to rate the weight of each pain term on a visual analogue scale. Subclasses in which ranks of pain terms were same f s findings in two previous studies were 1) thermal 3 am 2) cavity pressure, 3) single stimulating pain, 4) radiation pain. and 5) chemical pain. Subclasses in which ranks of pain terms were confused were 1) incisive pressure, and 2) cold pain. Subclasses in which one new pain term was added were 1) inflammatory-repeated pain, 2) punctuate pressure, 3) constrictive pressure, 4) fatigue-related pressure, and 5) suffering-relate4 pain. Subclasses in which two new pain terms were added were 1) traction pressure, 2) peripheral nerve pain, 3) dull pain, 4) pulsation-related pain, 5) digestion-related pain, 6) tract pain, and 7) punishment-related pain. Subclass in which 3 new pain terms were included was fear-related pain. Rating scores of 5 words in 4 subclasses were significantly different between the normal group and the extreme group of subjects in terms of subjective rating. Only one word among 6 words was that newly added to the scale. Rating scores of 12 words in 9 subclasses were significantly different between doctor group and nursing professor group. Among these 12 words, only 3 were those newly added to the scale. In comparison of these 12 words, mean scores of the nursing professors were always 7 to 16 points higher than those of the medical doctors. In the analysis of judgement of subjects in terms of dimensions of pain terms, subclasses of dull pain, cavity pressure, tract pain and cold pain were suggested to be included in the miscellaneous dimension. As a result of factor analysis of the ratings given to 96 pain words using principal components analysis without iteration and with varimax rotation limiting the number of factors to 4, factors of severe pain (factor I) mild-moderate pain (factor II) , causative pain (factor III) and temperature-related pain(factor IV) were extracted with the factor loading above 0.388. When the pain words were re-arranged on the bases of factor loading above 0.368, number of factors decreased to only first two factors. Maximum score of pain word in factor II was 46.17 and the minimum score of the factor I was 45.36. Further studies are needed to identify the validity, reliability, sensitivity and practicability of this ratio scale using patients having various sources of pain.

산업체 요구분석을 통한 신산업 융합기술교육의 방향 (Directions of Convergence Technology Education related to New Industry Field through Analysis of Industrial Needs)

  • 공과계열 대학에서 운영되고 있는 융합교육은 대체로 정부주도의 사업에 의해 주도되고 있으며 해당 대학의 소속 교수진 전공 및 연구 분야를 고려하여 개설되고 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 최근 부각되고 있는 신산업 분야 융합기술교육에 대한 산업체의 요구를 분석함으로써 융합기술교육에 대한 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구참여자는 산업체에 근무하는 299명의 산업체 종사자들이다. 수요조사도구는 융합교육에 대한 필요성, 산업체 관점에서의 융합신기술교육에 대한 요구, 학부융합교육에 대한 의견으로 세 가지 부분으로 구성하였다. 연구결과 융합기술교육에 대한 산업체의 필요성 인식 수준은 높은 것으로 나타났고 융합기술분야 중 IoT 융합분야, 바이오헬스, 첨단신소재, 신재생에너지 분야에 대한 교육 수요가 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 이와 함께 산업체 분야별 융합신기술교육에 대한 요구 결과를 제시하였다. 학부융합교육에 대한 기대, 문제, 개선사항에 대한 의견이 제안되었고 연구결과에 기반하여 융합기술교육에 대한 시사점에 대해서 논의하였다.

기초 3D 그래픽 교과에 대한 플립드 러닝 적용 효과 분석 (The Effect of Flipped Learning on the 3D Computer Graphics Class)

  • The teaching method of colleges and universities is traditionally lectures then professors has described orally in class and students has listened to accompanying with papers, mid-terms, and final exams. Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams have developed new way of teaching called flipped learning; Classwork at home and homework in class. By adapting the method, this paper researched how efficient it is and what factors tutors should consider for better results. Specifically this research examined the flipped learning applying to basic 3D graphics class of J University in Korea and students answered surveys and took a couple of tests. Since the most students of the class did not have any background of 3D graphics, it was the first time for them to work with 3 dimensional space coordinate system. As a result, the research showed positive side of flipped learning like increasing peers' interest to the class and positive attitude about video lectures watched before coming to class.

건강증진사업의 평가 - 경로당 회원의 실내기구운동 생활화를 중심으로 - (On the Evaluation of a Health Promotion Project - with the Focus on Daily Good Exercises of the Members of Senior Centers -)

  • A systematic health promotion project had been carried out for 3 months (from May 13 to August 4, 1996) in collaboration with nurses of a health center, professors and students of colleges of nursing, and members of senior centers in the community. The outcome was fairly positive : new techniques of public health nurses for health promotion services were developed and those, among the members of senior centers, who had a power of mobility made much progress in their maintenance and enhancement of health through the active use of health equipment. Through this project, we could reconfirm that desirable policies were fundamental tactics for the promotion of health : comprehensive approach to health promotion services, if provided with more or less financial support, would contribute greatly to the activation of public health services by the local administrative organizations.

개방·공유·참여의 대학 교육환경 구축 사례 (A Framework for Open, Flexible and Distributed Learning Environment for Higher Education)

  • This study proposes University 2.0 as a model case of open, flexible, and distributed learning environment for higher education based on theoretical foundations and perspectives. As web 2.0 technologies emerge into the field of education, ways of generating and disseminating information and knowledge have been drastically changed. Professors are no longer the only source of knowledge. Students using internet often become prosumers of knowledge who search and access information through the web as well as publish their own knowledge using the web. A concept and framework of University 2.0 is introduced for implementing the new interactive learning paradigm with an open, flexible and distributed learning environment for higher education. University 2.0 incorporates online and offline learning environments with various educational media. Furthermore, it employs various learning strategies and integrates formal and informal learning through learning communities. Both instructors and students in University 2.0 environment are expected to be active knowledge generators as well as creative designers of their own learning and teaching.

Application of Modern Farming Technology to the Organic Agricultural System

  • Recently, agriculture in Korea is seriously depressed by economic globalization and trade liberalization because of low competitive power. Organic farming, which is favorable for small scale agriculture, is expected to be one of alternatives to boost agricultural activities in Korea. Organic agriculture requires systemic developments of new technologies considering the complex biological interaction within the system in connection with high quality and safety standard. The National Institute of Agricultural Science & Technology(NIAST) has been worked on the series of organic farming technologies, including bio-pesticides, pheromone, natural enemies as well as the testings of materials used in organic farming. NIAST will concentrate on the technological development for compromising to the conflict between commodity-oriented and ecological harmony. Research on systemic land and water use, management of plant nutrition, pest and disease control, post-harvest would also be important targets. Integrated efforts among researchers, professors, administrators, farmers, private sectors, and extension workers are substantial for fast technology development and its dissemination. Development and use of these technologies will homely enlighten the Korean organic farming although it may require quite a time and endeavor.

  • Purpose: It was to induce higher-level papers which can make Korea's Emergency Medical Service System better. Methods: This study was conducted by analysing of 250 papers published in the Journal of Korean Society of Emergency Medical Technology from 1997 to 2005. Results: Most of papers which dealt with non-clinic(94.4%), non-job description(76.8%), non-scope of practice(94.4%), other than AHA's recommendations such as response intervals and survival rates from cardiac arrest(90.4%) were written by professors(61.6%) and 1-2 authors(72.8%). Conclusion: It brought up some needs of enlargement of new members.

Is Anything Ever New? Fashion Design Students' Perceptions of Piracy

  • Design piracy is the unauthorized copying of another designer or manufacturer's work. While controversial, it is an institutionalized practice in the apparel industry. The purpose of this study was to better understand student perceptions of design piracy, particularly as it is one they will encounter in their future careers. The authors interviewed twenty-four apparel design students at a land-grant Midwestern University. Data was analyzed using theme analysis. Three themes developed including: 1) Expressions of cognitive dissonance in statements expressing enjoyment of the practice of design piracy as a consumer; yet disappointment when (and if) their own design work was copied. 2) Concerns regarding the definition of originality and the logistics of enforcing a plan against design piracy. 3) Differences of opinion regarding the prevalence of the practice, particularly if the students had industry experience or not. Advice for professors from students regarding piracy is included.
