As the technological gap amongst manufacturers decreases, the life cycle of products has shortened, and competition accelerates due to the development of technology, incumbent manufacturing companies face growth limitations. In order to overcome such business issues, manufacturing companies are increasingly interested in changes in business models and innovations, especially in the direction of providing services where they can maintain the competitive advantage of their products. In such context, this empirical study examines managerial leadership, differentiation strategies, and products and services pricing as 'servitization factors', which can be driving forces for moving into a new era of growth for Korean SMEs, focusing on the mediating effects of servitization competency. The results are as follows : First, it was confirmed that executive leadership, differentiation strategy, and information & communication technology capability have a direct effect on service sales. Second, the process competency, partnership competency, and ICT competency, which are presented as the service competence of SMEs, were found to play an important role in inducing service sales in managerial leadership, differentiation strategy, product and services pricing. It also emphasized the role of the public policy such as helping to foster SMEs as key partners in the expansion of social facilities and establishing platforms through ICT and data utilization for the convergence of manufacturing services.

The digital age start in earnest with the widespread use of the Internet. As a digital product, virtual idols bring new value to the design and dissemination of commercial brand images. "Luo Tianyi" is the world's first avatar and VOCALOID voice bank of Chinese. It has a large number of fans in China and is widely used in brand promotion. Therefore, "Luo Tianyi" is taken as the research object. Initially, we investigated the virtual idols through books, literature on the internet and other materials. Then we discussed semiotics and theories related to culture code brand design methodology (CCBD). After that, putting the above theories into practice, combined with brand design cases, we analyzed the strategy of virtual idols in brand promotion and dissemination, at last, we have the conclusion as followed. The results show that the virtual idols, visual symbol of "Luo Tianyi" can express the Index and Symbol corresponding to the brand information according to the characteristics of the brand. As an image of cultural code, "Luo Tianyi" can present three visual images at the same time, which are contemporary, traditional and future. In addition, these three visual images are presented in a strong and weak combination, which has a positive impact on the visual communication of the brand.

Mr. Hyun Woo Shin, formal CEO of OXY inc. and also formal vice president of OCI (Oriental Chemical Industries) take charge of New CEO of Bullsone. Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the competitive environment of 7-Eleven using Porter's 5 Force model to analyze the specific competitiveness of 7-Eleven that has maintained continuous growth as a competitive company. Methods: This study is a case study of 7-Eleven. Results: As a result of the analysis, 7-Eleven has reinforced its competitiveness with existing competitors by raising entry barriers by expanding domestic stores and developing overseas convenience store business, focusing on North America, based on economy of scale. In addition, 7-Eleven seeks to differentiate itself from other convenience stores by developing a "private brand" and strengthens its bargaining power with suppliers through the development of new products by gathering information and know-how of experts in product development based on customer needs. The bargaining power with customers has been strengthened by building loyalty and trust in the brand by allowing consumers to purchase the same products at the same price no matter which store they visit. As a threat to potential competitors, 7-Eleven has secured a competition advantage by raising the barrier to entry by concentrating stores in specific areas through a dominant franchise development strategy and increasing awareness of 7-Eleven among consumers. In the case of threats from substitute products, it was confirmed that 7-Eleven has overcome the threat from substitute products by opening 24 hours a day and providing various services such as ATMs and copiers.

These days a great mix of traditional and digital contents such as movie, broadcasting, advertisement, e-books, music, game, animation, cartoon, character, knowledge information, and art performance are widely available. Many more are yet to come, with improved quality and added features. It is expected that all these contents will be evolved into a new breed of convergence content through the process of consolidation, expansion, integration, and recreation. Across the digital ecosystem, a new formula is being added to the industrial structure : 'Information/Content-Platform/Device-Goods/Service.' In the near future, as a result of technological innovation and convergence, the business sector will lose its boundaries as well, as businesses will be forced to look beyond the product itself and focus more on multi-functionality. Especially, in the era of creative economy, more policies need to be crafted in order to procure a new growth engine for the future with the agenda for convergence between humanities and technology. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept, factors, elements, types, and cases of convergence, which are the essence of content convergence. This analysis, with its focus on the convergence process, will help identify the effects and limits of content convergence as well as the prospects for convergence contents in the smart ecosystem under the creative economic system.

This paper addresses the issue how the total life cycle cost may be minimized and how the cost should be allocated to the acquirer and developer. This paper differentiates post life cycle change (PLCC) endeavors from PLCC activities, rigorously classifies PLCC endeavors according to the result of PLCC endeavors, and rigorously defines the life cycle cost of a software product. This paper reviews classical definitions of software 'maintenance' types and proposes a new typology of PLCC activities too. The proposed classification schemes are exhaustive and mutually exclusive, and provide a new paradigm to review existing literatures regarding software cost estimation, software 'maintenance,' software evolution, and software architecture from a new perspective. This paper argues that the long-term interest of the acquirer is not protected properly because warranty period is typically too short and because the main concern of warranty service is given to removing the defects detected easily. Based on the observation that defects are caused solely by errors the developer has committed for software while defects are often induced by using for hardware (so, this paper cautiously proposes not to use the term 'maintenance' at all for software), this paper argues that the cost to remove defects should not be borne by the acquirer for software.

Unlike in the past, profit-making companies use design thinking to solve their customers' essential needs rather than just solving problems in a conventional way. Design syncing is a creative strategy to solve problems by using designers' senses and methods in the process of design. Design thinking is a new way of thinking for designers to design their own ways and solve problems. In other words, design thinking can solve complex problems in a new and creative way. In order to realize the necessary functions, an aggregation of relevant elements in accordance with the new law can create an innovative design. Additionally, if a convergence system is applied that is organized and regularly functional to accomplish the functions of different kinds, design-thinking outcomes can make the necessary functions more specific. Through our research, we would like to explore the differential features of design and discuss the direction of design for consumer needs through a case analysis of design thinking with creative convergence system. We would like to propose competitive design product development and creative design thinking through case analysis such as products and systems with design thinking applied. We hope that this research will help businesses and individuals who make design thinking a problem.
This study shed light on the status of Korean Kimchi industry in overseas markets and presented methods for promoting Kimchi industry of Gwangju Jeonnam metropolitan city and stimulating the export of Kimchi produced in Gwangju Jeonnam, a city that has come to the fore as the center of Kimchi industry, which aimed to explore the ways of ratcheting up competitiveness of Kimchi industry in the global market as Kimchi has become more likely to be globalized amid the recent "Korea Trend" boom and the growing consumption of fermented food.
