In order to promote foodservice for older adults, foodservice directors in Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) must identify the dimensions used by residents to evaluate the service quality of dining service. A multidimensional measure of perceived service quality was developed based on residents' responses about their experiences with dining service. A survey was administered to residents in two CCRCs. Based on the results of principal component analysis, this study identified four dimensions: food quality, dining room employee's attitude and service skills, dining room employee's safety and cleanliness, and systemization of service delivery process. A new dimension that reflects residents' concern for the dining mom employees' safety and cleanliness also emerged. 1bis study points to areas of improvement for food quality and dining room employee's safety and cleanliness.
Most countries have their own culture that presents different types of behaviour. The employees' specific ways of working, according to each country, influence its organisation, thus cultural differences have become an essential issue in operating management. Therefore, this study explored how the different cultures based on Hofstede's paradigm interact within the specific Korean context. This study examined how cultural related HRM practices were enacted in the Korean hotel industry, how the frameworks of Hofstede's model impact the employee outcomes, including the concept of organisational justice. This study followed a quantitative approach which relied on a positivist paradigm to evaluate the different HRM practices at hotel workplaces with the view of employees. This study gathered a survey on 601 hotel employees in the deluxe sector. The analysis of quantitative data was undertaken using SPSS version 23.0 software and AMOS 23.0 to achieve the research aim for the study. This study contributes new findings to the research literature. The results of this study showed how Confucianism also plays a predominant role in understanding Korean culture, more than the Hofstede's original four dimensions of culture.
Purpose - The corporate culture's energy is recognized to go through the company and facilitate a new balance to realize success, which means that the culture in an environment of various organizations affects the performance of its employees. The purpose of the current research is to investigate the impact of organizational culture on employee performance. Research design, data, and methodology - The current research conducted a qualitative content analysis. The primary research approach applied by qualitative content analysis is an inductive methodology, and this approach is a type of reasoning that seeks the application of logic, which later helps develop a theory that will guide the future research. Result - Research findings of the present study indicated that five solutions to the problems encountered through the execution of culture are attached to how effective the organizational culture are when workers execute. Thus, culture is realized to boost structure, because the structure of an organization elevates the behavior of the organization. Conclusion - Workers will be aware of both the negative and positive implications of executing culture in the organization. Therefore, organization managers must learn that various employees are vital people in their vicinity, and creating a culture that would make a good rapport with them is vital.
Purposes: The purpose of this study is to analyze cases of development and operation of a mentoring program that provides psychological support to new employees and helps them adapt to work, thereby applying it to actual work and laying the foundation for follow-up research. Methodology: We explored the development and application process of A Hospital mentoring program by applying the mentoring program model developed according to the procedures of the ADDIE model, and confirmed the perceptions of participants who participated in the training course through analysis of activity logs and in-depth interviews. Findings: The main results of the case analysis are as follows. First, the curriculum was developed according to the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. As a result of activity log and in-depth interview analysis, participants recognized that the mentoring program was helpful in forming social relationships, organizational adaptation, and preventing job turnover, and recognized difficulties in communication. Participants mentioned supplementing the operating system. Practical Implication: The results of a systematic review of the application and effectiveness of mentoring programs for new employees can serve as reference material for practical program design.
Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.
Keeping good, talented people is one of the most significant factors in a company's success. HR analytics is an important area for applying big data analysis techniques to human resources. It provides organizational insight that enables effective management of employees, allowing management to reach their business goals quickly and efficiently. Job satisfaction and employee turnover analysis are the keys to HR analytics. Job review web services have been becoming popular. Because people exchange information about job satisfaction and turnover through these web services, useful information about HR Analytics is accumulated on the job review web sites. In this paper, we identified factors of employee retention by analyzing a Job Satisfaction/Retention group, and the factors of employee turnover by analyzing a Job Unsatisfaction/Turnover group. In order to do this, we first classified employees according to whether their self-reported job satisfaction or turnover was true. We collected and analyzed data from Jobplanet, a popular job review site. Through dominance analysis and LDA topic modeling, we found major factors, topics, and keywords of the classified groups by IT, service, and manufacturing domains. Our approach is a novel model to apply the analysis of reviews and text mining to the HR domain, and it will be practically helpful for setting new strategies that improve job satisfaction.

In the last decade, the effect of digitalization was the most cited issue in economic discourse, especially since technological advances, automation, and artificial intelligence are the key to the future discussions. Unemployment is one of the most important and continuous debates, especially in times of crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style in innovation organizations to deal with the crisis. In this study, a non-probability purposive sampling method was used. A total of 377 respondents were from LinkedIn social media in Indonesia, with the criteria of employees who have worked for at least 6 years. The structural equation model was analyzed with Amos 25.0. The results show that virtual, servant, and transformational leadership influence employee creativity. Moreover, employee creativity strongly influences organizational innovation; therefore, a new model was found to meet the challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, which is leadership. Therefore, these results are useful for managers to overcome challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis to manage employee creativity for a better innovative organization and make science a reference for finding solutions to the global wave of unemployment in the revolution 5.0 era.
Purpose - The focal point of this research is to study the implications of retention, various reasons for attrition and also different ways to control attrition along with the employee retention strategies implementing by the Indian IT sector. Research design, data and methodology - After thorough literature review on employee attrition and retention, questionnaire has prepared to collect the opinions of 200 employees which were chosen from 20 IT companies (10 each from large and medium size companies) with simple random sampling technique and also gathered the opinion of these companies HR managers on strategies they are implementing to retain their talent pool through personal and telephonic interviews. Results -The research completely limited to the IT companies located in the city of Pune which is emerged as a new IT hub of India. The collected data was analyzed with Microsoft Excel and frequency distribution. Conclusions - The researchers identified job associated, compensation related and inter-personal relations for quitting their positions along with the outlook of Indian IT companies related to the identification and implementation of retention strategies like incessant hikes in compensation package, improved working conditions, continuous introduction of employee welfare facilities, and genuine promotional policy, recognition and rewards, career planning and development, and exemplary leadership.

Internally Korean insurance market is that whole life products' growth are becoming slowdown that's why new insurance products have appeared on the market in consideration of consumer's needs recently. Externally domestic insurance market competitions has drifted from insurance industry to whole financial industry since bankasurance started. Life insurance companies should open up a new market to survive from severe competitions. Worksite marketing can be an alternative. An insurer make arrangements with an employer about an insurance terms which an insurer offers in Worksite marketing. Then eligible individuals enroll in the plans at their own discretion and pay 100 percent of the premium for coverage through payroll deductions. An employer doesn't need to pay extra money for additional benefit but can raise employee's loyalty and satisfaction of company through worksite marketing. An employee can be covered at discounted premium rate and less strict underwriting guidelines to an insurer compared to individual insurance. In developed countries specially U.S insurance market, Worksite marketing is getting very popular and growing rapidly due to the advantages. Worksite marketing has both individual insurance characters and group insurance characters. Individual insurance characters are that employees enroll in the plans at their own discretion and pay 100 percent of the premium for coverage. Group insurance characters are that actively at work and participation etc. An insurer have to reflect these two characters on Worksite marketing when an insurance company work out a plan for developing products and underwriting guidelines. When an insurer devise worksite products, one should consider participation level which means percentage of eligible employees participating. Participation is related to anti-selection. As we know underwriting is essential for every kind of insurance, especially underwriting plays major role in worksite marketing. We can see that in the below. Firstly, it has a function in calculation of premium rate. When calculate premium rate for worksite products underwriters have to estimate expected participation level and risk factors. So underwriters and acturies keep in close contact with each other. Secondly, underwriting methods are important. When an insurer underwrite worksite products, there are three kinds of underwriting methods. These are Simplified issue underwriting, Full underwriting and Guaranteed issue underwriting. Simplified issue underwriting typically requires no medical examination, but usually requires supplying satisfactory answers to one or several health and/or lifestyle questions. Full underwriting requires a complete medical history questionnaire that may further require an exam. Guaranteed issue underwriting means that coverage is issued without the employee having to provide evidence of insurability. When insurer set the GI limit are usually based on the type of industry, number of eligible employees, the average amount of coverage and participation level. In addition to insurer should have a clear definition of eligible employee on the insurance provision and application form. It will minimize possibility of trouble claims and anti-selection. An insurer also establish preexisting condition exclusion and special guidelines for late entrants. When an insurer introduce Worksite marketing to Korean insurance market, an insurer has to examine market research to analyze potential market and strategy of sales most of all. Also an insurer should review real situation of the U.S, England and Japanese market etc. There are a lot of new technologies about worksite marketing process that an insurer should learn. When an insurer consider many things which we explained it can be a real alternative.
Purpose: Ten years after basic safety and health education in the construction industry has been implemented, no more maintenance education has been provided, and those who have completed basic safety and health education are exempt from new employee education. As soon as possible, we will seek strategic measures to prevent unstable behavior and prevent safety accidents by legislating conservative education and new recruitment education. Method: In this study, basic safety and health education, which is construction safety education, and human error, which is unstable behavior of new employees, and structural relationship between violation behavior were conducted through survey. Result: The survey analyzed that basic safety and health education in the construction industry and new recruitment education had a significant impact on the human factors of the disaster, Human Error, and the reduction of violations, and confirmed that continuous safety education could increase safety awareness. Conclusion: The insolvency of safety education shall be prevented by the revision of the Act on the remuneration of basic safety and health education and the education of new employees.
