네트워크 디바이스의 프로토타입 개발 환경을 위한 시스템-온-칩 시뮬레이터와 네트워크 시뮬레이터의 통합 시뮬레이터 설계 및 구현 (A Design of a Co-simulator Integrates a System-on-Chip Simulator and Network Simulator for Development Environments of Prototype Network Devices)

  • 무선 통신 프로토콜에서 하위 계층을 담당하는 부분은 네트워크 디바이스이다. 네트워크 디바이스는 하드웨어/소프트웨어로 구성되기 때문에 시스템-온-칩 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 설계할 수 있다. 하지만 네트워크 디바이스는 다양한 상위 계층 통신 프로토콜과 상호 동작하기 때문에 시스템-온-칩 시뮬레이터뿐 아니라 네트워크 시뮬레이터의 지원이 필요하다. 그러므로 이 두개의 시뮬레이터를 결합하면, 이러한 요구를 만족하는 네트워크 디바이스의 개 발 환경이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 환경을 제공하는 통합 시뮬레이터를 제안한다. 제안하는 통합 시뮬레이터는, 통합으로 인한 성능 저하가 발생하지 않는다. 또한, 각 시뮬레이터의 커널 구현에 독립적이므로 통합이 용이하다.

  • A simulated network protocol provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator. Through this, full coverage of management of data and service handling among separated simulators is achieved. The distributed simulation environment is much more conducive to handling simulation load balancing and hazard treatment than a standalone computer. According to the simulated network protocol, one simulator takes on the role of server and the other simulators take on the role of client, and client is controlled by server. The purpose of the simulated network protocol is to seamlessly connect multiple simulator instances into a single simulation environment. This paper presents the development of a simulated network (simNetwork) that provides the capability of distributed simulation to a generic simulator (GenSim), which is a software simulator of satellites that has been developed by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute since 2010, to use as a flight software validation bench for future satellite development.

사용자 통화 특성을 고려한 무선 네트워크 시뮬레이터 구현 (Implementation of Wireless Network simulator considering a User's Call Characteristics)

  • Traditionally, simulation method is used to test and evaluate the performance of communication protocol or functional elements for mobile communication service. In this paper, wireless network simulator is implemented using the C++ object-oriented programming language. This simulator can simulate wireless data services, like as ad-hoc networks, by considering the user's mobility. In this paper, the simulator includes network traffic model to reflect wireless data service and traffic source model to represent a user's mobility similar to real service environment and traffic characteristics can be reflected on the simulation, and also more accurate simulation results can be got through that. In addition, by using object-oriented techniques, new service feature or environment can be easily added or changed so that the developed mobile communication simulator can reflect the real service environment all the time. This simulator can be used in adjusting the characteristics of wireless data hosts following the mobility of the user, and also can be used in building new wireless ad-hoc network routing protocols.

공급사슬네트워크 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Supply Chain Network Simulator)

  • The competition between companies for prior occupation of the market is becoming fierce. In this highly competitive situation, it is important for companies to differentiate themselves if they are going to have a chance at success. And the competition to create the best solution method possible is higher than ever. Increased competition is forcing companies to lower costs and improve efficiency. A supply chain management(SCM) has become one of the most important solution methods of competitive advantage. This study has developed a simulator for the supply chain network problem. The simulator is designed to simulate the conditions of an actual supply chain network considering uncertainties. The simulator developed using commercial simulation tool ARENA and the results of computational experiments for a simple example were given and discussed to validate the developed simulator. Further research is needed, but using the simulator could become a useful tool for decision making in the supply chain network area.

  • This thesis proposes a new social network simulator, which can be used for the social network analysis (SNA). It is composed of three modules; initialization, network evolution, and output generation. For the network evolution module, we suggest a modified JGN (MJGN) based on JGN, the network evolution model developed by Jin, Girvan, and Newman. Arena, one of the most popular simulation tools, was used to model the agent based social network simulator. Lastly, some test results were presented to show the value of the proposed simulator when one performs SNA at the longitudinal point of view.

가상현실 자전거 시뮬레이터에서 시각화 네트워크 (Networked Visualization for a Virtual Bicycle Simulator)

  • This paper presents the visualization method of the KAIST interactive bicycle simulator. The simulator consists of two bicycles of 6 DOF and 4 DOF platforms, force feedback handlebars and pedal resistance systems to generate motion feelings; a real-time visual simulator, a HMD and a beam projection system; and a 3D sound system. The system has an integrating control network with the server-client network structure for multiple simulators. The visual simulator generates dynamic images in real-time while communicating with other modules of the simulator. The operator of the simulator can have realistic visual experience of riding on a velodrome or through the KAIST campus, while being able to watch the other bicycle with an avatar.

  • We propose a charge/discharge model for network based vehicle. These model include motor, alternator, lamp, brake, window brush, air conditioner, etc.. Also, we simulate these models in Matlab. The simulation results show that error range is less than 3%. So, we can adopt these model to charge/discharge simulator for network based vehicle. If this error range can be shrunk within 2%, we can use this simulator for comertial use.

  • This paper presents a now approach to the design of intelligent contorl system for track vehicle system using fuzzy logic based on neural network. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. Moreover, We develop a Windows 95 version dynamic simulator which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based of independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The dynamic simulator for track vehicle is developed by Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics. The performance of the proposed controller is illustrated by simulation for trajectory tracking of track vehicle speed.

  • 최근 사이버 테러에 대한 관심이 고조되면서 네트워크 보안 시뮬레이터가 필요하게 되었다. 네트워크 보안 시뮬레이터는 침입 행위 및 방어 행위를 모델링하여 침입에 대한 피해 정도, 방어 대책의 효과성 등을 파악하기 위한 도구이다. 이 도구를 통해서 사이버 테러에 대한 예방과 복구가 가능하기 때문이다. 이를 위해 기존의 시뮬레이터들은 시뮬레이션 수행 전에 모든 시나리오를 작성해 놓고 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 그러나 사람의 판단 및 행위를 모델링하지 못한 시뮬레이션은 정확한 결과를 나타내지 못하였다 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 네트워크 보안 시뮬레이터에 동적 시뮬레이션 요소를 첨가함으로써 정확히 네트워크 침입 및 방어 행위를 표현하고자 하였다. 또한 이를 위한 시뮬레이터 구조 변경 방법을 제안하였다. 시뮬레이터를 구현한 후에는 슬래머 웜의 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 기능이 올바로 구현되었음을 확인하였다.

TETRA 기반 DLMS 원방감시 시스템 (DLMS SCADA System based on TETRA)

  • TETRA(TErrestrial Trunked RAdio)는 국내 전력 IT 무선 기간망에 적용된 ETSI(European Telecommunication Standard Institute)가 정한 디지털 주파수공용통신(TRS, Trunked Radio System) 기술로서 공중망 및 기간망에 적용되고 있는 무선통신시스템이다. DLMS(Device Language Message Specification)는 전기 계량기 값을 검침하기 위해 쓰인다. 본 논문에서는 윈도우 기반의 DLMS Server와 Client Simulator를 사용하였다. 또한 DLMS Server Simulator와 Client Simulator 간의 RS-232C 기반의 통신을 TETRA PEI 기반의 통신으로 변환하는 다기능 게이트웨이를 개발하여 TETRA 기반 DLMS 원방 감시 시스템을 구축하였다.
