초고속정보통신망 구축을 위한 기획분석 모형의 개발 및 분석 (Planning the Korea Information Infrastructure : Models and a Case Example)

  • The use of network planning models and tools is essential for effective KII (Korea Information Infrastructure) planning and analysis in that it will significantly reduce the risk and uncertainty embeded in the development and the provision of future broadband services. The purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical framework and a computer tool for modeling the various aspects of the KII topology and architecture and evaluating the techno-economic feasibility of the KII implementation strategy.

신경회로망 방식에 의한 복잡한 포켓형상의 황삭경로 생성 (Neural network based tool path planning for complex pocket machining)

  • In this paper, we present a new method to tool path planning problem for rough cut of pocket milling operations. The key idea is to formulate the tool path problem into a TSP (Travelling Salesman Problem) so that the powerful neural network approach can be effectively applied. Specifically, our method is composed of three procedures: a) discretization of the pocket area into a finite number of tool points, b) neural network approach (called SOM-Self Organizing Map) for path finding, and c) postprocessing for path smoothing and feedrate adjustment. By the neural network procedure, an efficient tool path (in the sense of path length and tool retraction) can be robustly obtained for any arbitrary shaped pockets with many islands. In the postprocessing, a) the detailed shape of the path is fine tuned by eliminating sharp corners of the path segments, and b) any cross-overs between the path segments and islands. With the determined tool path, the feedrate adjustment is finally performed for legitimate motion without requiring excessive cutting forces. The validity and powerfulness of the algorithm is demonstrated through various computer simulations and real machining.

저축 CNC 환경에서의 황삭가공 (Rough Cut Tool Path Planning in Fewer-axis CNC Machinig)

  • This paper presents rough cut tool path planning for the fewer-axis machine consisting of a three-axis CNC machine and a rotary indexing table. In the problem dealt with in this paper, the tool orientation is "intermediately" changed, distinguished from the conventional problem where the tool orientation is assumed to be fixed. The developed rough cut path planning algorithm tries to minimize the number of tool orientation (setup) changes together with tool changes and the machining time for the rough cut by the four procedures: a) decomposition of the machining area based on the possibility of tool interference (via convex hull operation), b) determination of the optimal tool size and orientation (via network graph theory and branch-and bound algorithm), c) generation of tool path for the tool and orientation (based on zig-zag pattern), and d) feedrate adjustment to maintain the cutting force at an operation level (based on average cutting force). The developed algorithms are validated via computer simulations, and can be also used in pure fiveaxis machining environment without modification.

  • 현재의 전송네트워크용량을 향상시킬때 중요하게 고려해야 할것중의 하나가 네트워크 scalability 이다. 새로운 풀 메쉬의 링 확장 방법 및 플래닝 툴을 제안하였다. 3$\sim$15 노드의 확장링에서 본 툴을 사용하여 SNR이 증진되는 것을 입증하였다. 노드의 출력신호 및 광 SNR이 제안된 NPOT에 의해 -16dBm/10dB 에서 +005dBm/21dB 로 증진되었다.

  • To adapt the neural network proess for the purpose of determination of optimal utting onditions (optimal cutting speed and feed rate), some selection strategies for the machining factors are necessary, which is considered planning cutting process. In this case, factors that have both nonlinearity and strong relationship must be selected. Although tool grade and chemical properties of workpiece material have strong effect to cutting speed, it's not easy to find a analytic relation between them. In this paper, a mathematical method for determining the optimal amount of cutting (depth of cut, feed rate) is presented by tool goemetry and heat generation during cutting process. And various tool grade and workpiece material groups ase classified based on its chemical properties. Thier chemical composition and hardness are used as input pattern for neural network learnig. The result of learning shows the relationship between tool grade and workpiece material and it is proved that it can be used as a sub-system for automatic process planning system.

  • 핸드오프는 CDMA 망에서 시스템의 성능과 용량 등 망설계에 영향을 미치는 매우 중요한 변수인데 본 논문에서는 1.9GHz대의 주파수대역에서 전자파전파모델, IS-95A에서 권고한 소프트 핸드오프 알고리즘, 그리고 무선망설계 변수에 대한 연구를 통하여 소프트핸드오프가 CDMA 무선망설계에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위한 시뮬레이션틀을 개발하였다. 이를 이용하여 소프트핸드오프 이득, 소프트핸드오프가 CDMA 시스템 성능과 용량에 미치는 영향등을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 본 셀설계 틀과 분석자료는 PCS와 차세대이동통신과 같은 1.9GHz대역에서의 CDMA 디지털 이동통신환경에서의 무선망설계시에 기지국선정과 시스템 파라미터 최적화 등과 같은 효율적인 무선망설계에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Collision free task planning for dual-arm robot which perform many subtasks in a common work space can be achieved in two steps : path planning and trajectory planning. path planning finds the order of tasks for each robot to minimize path lengths as well as to avoid collision with static obstacles. A trajectory planning strategy is to let each robot move along its path as fast as possible and delay one robot at its initial position or reduce speed at the middle of its path to avoid collision with the other robot.

  • WiBro(Mobile WiMAX) has gained momentum as a top candidate to deliver the dream of full mobile wireless internet. To save cost and time in WiBro network design, simulation tool has to deploy powerful and useful analysis functions. If path loss model is more accurate, the reliability of analysis result of simulation tool will be much improved. So we emphasize on the importance of pathloss model in WiBro network design in this paper. For this, we introduce to three kinds of pathloss models(SUI, SCM, SCM-E) supposed properly models in WiBro RF (Radio Frequency) environment. Also we treat from basic theory to practical substance on the pathloss model to adopt WiBro network design/optimization. Finally, we describe about wireless network analysis tool named 'CellPLAN(R)' and techniques possible to improvethe accuracy of pathloss model.

수정된 SOFM을 이용한 이동로봇의 전역 경로계획 (A Global Path Planning of Mobile Robot Using Modified SOFM)

  • A global path planning algorithm using modified self-organizing feature map(SOFM) which is a method among a number of neural network is presented. The SOFM uses a randomized small valued initial weight vectors, selects the neuron whose weight vector best matches input as the winning neuron, and trains the weight vectors such that neurons within the activity bubble are move toward the input vector. On the other hand, the modified method in this research uses a predetermined initial weight vectors of the 2-dimensional mesh, gives the systematic input vector whose position best matches obstacles, and trains the weight vectors such that neurons within the activity bubble are move toward the opposite direction of input vector. According to simulation results one can conclude that the modified neural network is useful tool for the global path planning problem of a mobile robot.

  • 가족이야기(familyHistory)를 중심으로한 지능형 스토리텔링 기획지원도구란 가족의 역사, 개인의 인물사등 선형적인 서사 장르의 이야기의 저작 과정을 지원하는 도구이다. 서사의 영역은 극, 신화, 전설, 역사 등의 언어적 서사물 뿐만 아니라, 영화, 연극, 발레, 오페라 등의 비언어적 서사도 포괄되나 본 연구에서는 언어적 서사물로서 각 가정의 구성원에 대한 인물사 및 가족역사를 중심으로 한다. 본 스토리텔링 기획 지원 도구는 샘플DB와 지식DB를 통하여 가정의 역사와 이야기에 대한 장르별 스토리텔링을 재구성하고, 내용의 가치와 완성도 높은 이야기를 구축하는데 있어서 적극적으로 활용 가능하다. 스토리텔링 기획에 소요되는 시간을 단축하고, 인력과 비용의 최소화를 지향 한다. 가족, 가정에 대한 스토리텔링은 창작 콘텐츠의 가장 원초적인 기반을 이루는 핵심적 단계이나 누구나 쉽게 접근하여 작성할 수 있는 기획 및 저작도구는 전무한 상태이다. 창작 인프라가 부족한 한국의 현황에서 본 연구가 제시한 기획지원도구는 대중이 쉽게 사용할 수 있고, 매커니즘을 개방화, 구조화 시킴으로서 향후 다양한 장르의 콘텐츠 창작 도구로 연동 가능한 모델을 설계하고 연구하고자 한다.
