Mobile and telecommunication networking uses temporary and random identifiers (IDs) to protect user privacy. For greater intelligence and security o the communications between the core network and the mobile user, we design and build a dynamic randomization scheme for the temporary IDs for mobile networking, including 5G and 6G. Our work for ID randomization (ID-RZ) advances the existing state-of-the-art ID re-allocation approach in 5G in the following ways. First, ID-RZ for ID updates is based on computing, as opposed to incurring networking for the re-allocation-based updates, and is designed for lightweight and low-latency mobile systems. Second, ID-RZ changes IDs proactively (as opposed to updating based on explicit networking event triggers) and provides stronger security (by increasing the randomness and frequency of ID updates). We build on the standard cryptographic primitives for security (e.g., hash) and implement our dynamic randomization scheme in the 5G networking protocol to validate its design purposes, which include time efficiency (two to four orders of magnitude quicker than the re-allocation approach) and appropriateness for mobile applications.

With the development of computer&network technology and the growth of its dependance, computer failures not only lose human and material resources but also make organization's competition weak as a side-effect of information society. Therefore, people consider computer security as important factor. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) detect intrusions and take an appropriate action against them in order to protect a computer from system failure due to illegal intrusion. A variety of methods and models for IDS have been developed until now, but the existing methods or models aren't enough to detect intrusions because of the complexity of computer network the vulnerability of the object system, insufficient understanding for information security and the appearance of new illegal intrusion method. We propose a new IDS model to be suitable at the information system organized by homogeneous hosts and design for the IDS model and implement the prototype of it for feasibility study. The IDS model consist of many distributed unit sensor IDSs at homogeneous hosts and if any of distributed unit sensor IDSs detect anomaly system call among system call sequences generated by a process, the anomaly system call can be dynamically shared with other unit sensor IDSs. This makes the IDS model can effectively detect new intruders about whole information system.
The importance of sensor networks as a base of ubiquitous computing realization is being highlighted, and espicially the security is recognized as an important research isuue, because of their characteristics.Several efforts are underway to provide security services in sensor networks, but most of them are preventive approaches based on cryptography. However, sensor nodes are extremely vulnerable to capture or key compromise. To ensure the security of the network, it is critical to develop security Intrusion Detection System (IDS) that can survive malicious attacks from "insiders" who have access to keying materials or the full control of some nodes, taking their charateristics into consideration. In this perper, we design a distributed and adaptive IDS architecture on sensor networks, respecting both of energy efficiency and IDS efficiency. Utilizing a modified HEED algorithm, a clustering algorithm, distributed IDS nodes (dIDS) are selected according to node's residual energy and degree. Then the monitoring results of dIDSswith detection codes are transferred to dIDSs in next round, in order to perform consecutive and integrated IDS process and urgent report are sent through high priority messages. With the simulation we show that the superiorities of our architecture in the the efficiency, overhead, and detection capability view, in comparison with a recent existent research, adaptive IDS.

This study is conducted to examine the optimal integrated security policy based on network in case of attacks by implementing unique security policies of various network security equipments as an algorithm within one system. To this end, the policies conduct the experiment to implement the optimal security system through the process of mutually integrating the unique defense policy of Firewall, VPN(Virtual Private Network), IDS(Intrusion Detection System), and IPS(Intrusion Prevention System). In addition, this study is meaningful in that it designs integrated mechanism for rapid detection of system load caused by establishment of the security policy and rapid and efficient defense and secures basic network infrastructure implementation.

With the advancement of modern technology, cyber-attacks are always rising. Specialized defense systems are needed to protect organizations against these threats. Malicious behavior in the network is discovered using security tools like intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewall, antimalware systems, security information and event management (SIEM). It aids in defending businesses from attacks. Delivering advance threat feeds for precise attack detection in intrusion detection systems is the role of cyber-threat intelligence (CTI) in the study is being presented. In this proposed work CTI feeds are utilized in the detection of assaults accurately in intrusion detection system. The ultimate objective is to identify the attacker behind the attack. Several data sets had been analyzed for attack detection. With the proposed study the ability to identify network attacks has improved by using machine learning algorithms. The proposed model provides 98% accuracy, 97% precision, and 96% recall respectively.

Recently, Intrusion detection system is an important technology in computer network system because of has seen a dramatic increase in the number of attacks. The most of intrusion detection methods do not detect intrusion on real-time because difficult to analyze an auditing data for intrusions. A network intrusion detection system is used to monitors the activities of individual users, groups, remote hosts and entire systems, and detects suspected security violations, by both insider and outsiders, as they occur. It is learns user's behavior patterns over time and detects behavior that deviates from these patterns. In this paper has rule-based component that can be used to encode information about known system vulnerabilities and intrusion scenarios. Integrating the two approaches makes Intrusion Detection System a comprehensive system for detecting intrusions as well as misuse by authorized users or Anomaly users (unauthorized users) using RFM analysis methodology and monitoring collect data from sensor Intrusion Detection System(IDS).

The Intrsuion Detecion Systems(IDS) are required the accuracy, the adaptability, and the expansion in the information society to be changed quickly. Also, it is required the more structured, and intelligent IDS to protect the resource which is important and maintains a secret in the complicated network environment. The research has the purpose to build the model for the intelligent IDS, which creates the intrusion patterns. The intrusion pattern has extracted from the vast amount of data. To manage the large size of data accurately and efficiently, the link analysis and sequence analysis among the data mining techniqes are used to build the model creating the intrusion patterns. The model is consist of "Time based Traffic Model", "Host based Traffic Model", and "Content Model", which is produced the different intrusion patterns with each model. The model can be created the stable patterns efficiently. That is, we can build the intrusion detection model based on the intelligent systems. The rules prodeuced by the model become the rule to be represented the intrusion data, and classify the normal and abnormal users. The data to be used are KDD audit data.
In recent years, using computer networks (wired and wireless networks) has been widespread in many applications. As computer networks become increasingly complex, the accompanied potential threats also grow to be more sophisticated and as such security has become one of the major concerns in them. Prevention methods alone are not sufficient to make them secure; therefore, detection should be added as another defense before an attacker can breach the system. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs) have become a key component in ensuring systems and networks security. An IDS monitors network activities in order to detect malicious actions performed by intruders and then initiate the appropriate countermeasures. In this paper, we present a survey and taxonomy of intrusion detection systems and then evaluate and compare them.

Rapid expansion of network and increment of computer system access cause computer security to be an important issue. Hence, the researches in intrusion detection system(IDS)are active to reduce the risk from hackers. Considering IDS, we propose a new IDS model(DABIDS : Distributed Agent Based Intelligent intrusion Detection System) based on distributed intrusion detecting agents. The DABIDS dynamically collects intrusion behavior knowledge from each agents when some doubtable behaviors of users are detected and make new agents codes using intrusion scenario data base, and broadcast the detector codes to the distributed intrusion detecting agent of all node. This DABIDS can efficiently solve the problem to reduce the overhead for training detecting agent for intrusion behavior patterns.
