미디어 아트의 인터랙티브 개념과 유비쿼터스 공간과의 관계성 연구 (A Study on Relationship between Interactive in Media Art and Ubiquitos Space)

  • The development of information & communication technology in 21st century along with the mass media In 20th century, the influence of state-of-art culture in our society rapidly increased in these days. This state-of-art culture makes the world becomes single-channeled by network, and there is a big change not only in human life but also in concept and understand for art and space. The development of digital paradigm and media technology is exerting a strong influence on the Ubiquitous computing environment that is being drawn great interest. The ubiquitous is concerned as expansion of media art, and the interactive art which is part of media art has the similarity with the ubiquitous computing environment. In this study, the possibility of connection between the territory of ubiquitous environment which is recently focused and has strong interrelation feature, and the territory of interacting will be examined. Furthermore, possibility of new space design work through seeking the possibility of connection between two territories will be estimated.

확률적 순서를 이용한 대기행렬 망에서 안정 대기시간의 범위 (Bounds for Stationary Waiting Times in a Class of Queueing Networks using Stochastic Ordering)

  • In this paper we study bounds for characteristics of stationary waiting times in (max, +)-linear systems with a Poisson arrival process. which are prevalent in manufacturing systems, kanban systems, cyclic and acyclic fork-and-join type systems, finite or infinite capacity tandem queues with various kinds of blocking, transportation systems, and telecommunication networks, and so on. Recently, some results on series expansion for characteristics, such as higher moments, Laplace transform, and tail probability, of transient and stationary waiting times in a class of (max, +)-linear systems via Taylor series expansions have been studied. In order to overcome the computational complexity in those results, we consider bounds for characteristics of stationary waiting times using valuable stochastic ordering results. Some numerical examples are also provided.

환경산업 해외시장 진출지원 정책과 향후 지원 방향 (Policy to Support the Global Market Entry of the Environmental Industry and Its Future Direction)

  • The Korean government amended the Environmental Technology and Industry Support Act to foster the environment industry and support the advancement of domestic environmental companies into overseas markets. The amended act reflects changes in the government's policies on environment related issues. This paper uses outcomes of research conducted on environmental policies in foreign countries and the current status of the domestic environment industry to present long-term strategic plans and measures to support the expansion of environmental companies into the global markets and to vitalize the environment industry at home. The suggestions for assisting domestic companies in making inroads into overseas markets are as follows: building up and expanding cooperative network; fostering promising companies and exports by making the right choices and focuses; diversification of export markets and strengthening supports for development of new customers; promoting supports for winning overseas projects; and developing cooperative projects to respond to climate change in developing countries using the Global Climate Fund (GCF).

  • kEPCO is now conducting a project called the "Feasibility Study & Basic Designs for the 500kV Transmission System in Myanmar" as its second overseas project following the "Development Study on the rover System Network Analysis in Myanmar" performed from 2001 to 2002. As a part of this project, this paper deals with the analysis process and results of the demand forecasts, master plan for transmission system expansion, and the major factors for the new 500kV transmission facilities.

차세대 전자무역 시스템의 요건 분석 (A Study on Requirements Analysis for the Next Generation of Global e-trade)

  • This paper discusses some requirement issues of future global e-trade. Korea has been making lots of efforts on e-trade promotions and many research results support that the performance of e-trade should be increased. There are still many unsolved issues as well as future demands in this area. In this paper, we propose some e-trade requirements for next generation and those are e-trade governance, collaboration enhancement among trading participants, the utilization of e-trade documents repository, the expansion of global e-trade network, and e-trade intelligence just to name a few. For each requirement, we propose some research topics as well as practical implications for improving the performance of global e-trades. One can find some useful thoughts for the future research based on the propositions made by this paper.

패턴인식을 위한 디지탈 DBNN의 설계 (Design of digital DBNN for pattern recoginition)

  • In this paper, using DBNN algorithm which is used in the binary pattern classification or speech signal processing the digital DBNN circuit is designed having the variable expansion depending the size of input data and pattern type. The processing elemen(PE) of the proposed network consists of the synapse and MAXNET circuits for the similarity measurement between reference and input pattern. Global MAXNET selects the global winner among the local winners which is selected in each PE. Through the several simultions, and thus each PE and global MAXNET search the reference pattern that was the most simlar to input pattern for the discord of the pattern.

  • In this paper some of the important trends in the spacecraft technology development have been discussed. Trends of higher satellite radiate power, which involves higher TWTA powers and antenna reconfiguration, and Ka-band (30/20 G $H_{z}$) utilization are discussed. Evolutionary trends in satellite communications in general have demonstrated immense potential for meeting the evolving nees and challenges regarding provision of global telecommunications during over past two decades. Their promise for the coming decades as we enter the 21st century may far surpass our imagination. The expansion of fixed satellite service market will depend upon more inelligent spacecraft and a network of more cost effective small earth stations. Radiation hardened microwave analog technologies and high speed digital technologies are getting ready to meet the challenge posed by future markets. At present commercial satellite communications are going through a trasition period.d.

  • This study is focused on the reliability evaluation for distribution system based on deterministic evaluation technique. Average failure rates, average outage time, and average annual outage time of electrical parts and load points are calculated through network reduction method and failure mode & effective analysis method. And reliability indices of distribution system are calculated. Finally, by employing analytic hierarchy process method, unique index which evaluates and improves the distribution system is calculated. As a result, finding weak points and expansion schedule of the system is possible. The usefulness of this method is verified by applying it to the Inchon International Airport.

  • A compact measurement system is developed to measure in-process errors due to thermal deformation of a machine tool, this system is composed of a gauge, 5gap-sensors and a PC. The gauge is made of invar, which is a material that has a very low thermal expansion coefficient. A new neural network model is constructed to estimate thermally induced machine tool errors based on the measured data,the given data,that is a width of cut,a depth of cut, a feed rate, a spindel speed etc, and the calculated data. The detail of the model proposed is described in the paper together with the experimental methodologies using a proposed compact measurement system to examine the validity of the proposed approach.

  • EC(Electronic Commerce) is increasing with high speed based on the expansion of Internet. EC which is done through Internet has strong point like independence from time and space, On the contrary, it also has weak point like security problem because anybody can access easily to the system due to open network attribute of Internet. Therefore, we need the solutions that protect the security problem for safe and useful U activity, One of these solutions is the implementation of strong cipher algorithm. NPC(Non-Polynomial Complete) cipher algorithm proposed in this paper is good for the security and it overcome the limit of current 64bits cipher algorithm using 256bits key for input output and encryption key, Moreover, it is designed for the increase of calculation complexity and probability calculation by adapting more complex design for subkey generation regarded as one of important element effected to encryption.
