  • Social network analysis(SNA) has been recently applied to business areas such as social network services (such as Facebook and Twitter). In addition, the mobile telecommunication field attempts to analyze CDR(call detail record) data and apply customer relationship management and customer churn management through the use of social network analysis. The paper analyzes links between ego and alter based on ego-network and discovers four kinds of customer roles and then provides insights as a tool for customer relationship management or customer management.

  • We investigate the class registration behavior of college students with data collected from the spring semester of 2012. The network originally consists of a 2-mode network between a student and class subjects. We first transform the 2-mode network into 1-mode network of students. We also subdivide it into a smaller network such as components and communities to understand the detailed behavior of students in class registration. Finally, the relationship between GPA and the centrality measures, gender, and grade of students is analyzed using a multiple regression analysis.

  • BIM(Building Information Modeling) is a salient technology for influential innovation in the construction industry. The patent network analysis is useful for suggesting the direction of technology development and exploring the research and development field. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the BIM technology structure and core technologies according to the convergence of BIM technology and market expansion. In this study, social network analysis was conducted by establishing a co-classification IPC network for the United States BIM patent. In particular, the characteristics of the major technical areas in the BIM technology network were identified through centrality analysis. G06F017/00, digital computing or data processing method, is a core technology field in the BIM network. Arrangements, apparatus or systems for transmission of digital information, H04L029/00 is an influential technology across the network. B25J009/00 for program controlled manipulators is an intermediary technology field and G06T019/00, manipulating 3D models or images for computer graphics, is an important field for technological development competitiveness.

  • 요즘 사이버 공격이 많이 발생함에 따라 기존의 디지털 포렌식 뿐만 아니라 네트워크 트래픽을 수집해서 사이버 공격을 분석하는 네트워크 포렌식에 대한 연구가 많이 수행되고 있다. 그러나 네트워크 포렌식을 수행하기 위해서는 여러가지 어려움이 존재한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 우리는 이 논문에서 네트워크 악성행위를 분석하기 위한 시스템 및 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we introduce the technologies to handle the interference in the heterogeneous network and evaluate the performance of enhanced Inter-Cell Interference Coordination (enhanced ICIC, eICIC) techniques that are being introduced in 3GPP Release 10. In the time-domain eICIC scheme, time-domain resources are scheduled to avoid the interference by using Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) and Cell Range Expansion (CRE). To mitigate the cross-tier interference between macro and femtocell, it is important to efficiently combine the ABS and CRE in heterogeneous network. Since it is hard to evaluate the total throughput of heterogeneous network numerically, we evaluate the total throughput by using system level simulation (SLS). As a result of evaluation, the throughputs of many different cases of combination of ABS and CRE are compared.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify research trends of 892 domestic articles (2009-2018) related to emotional labor by using text-mining and network analysis. To this end, the keyword of these papers were collected and coded and eventually converted to 871 nodes and 2625 links for network text analysis. First, network text analysis revealed that the top four main keyword, according to co-occurrence frequency, were burnout, turnover intention, job stress, and job satisfaction in order and that the frequency and the top four core keyword by degree centrality were all relatively the high. Second, based on the top four core keyword of degree centrality the ego network analysis was conducted and the keyword for connection centroid of each network were presented.

A Performance Analysis of Video Smoke Detection based on Back-Propagation Neural Network (오류 역전파 신경망 기반의 연기 검출 성능 분석)

  • In this paper, we present performance analysis of video smoke detection based on BPN-Network that is using multi-smoke feature, and Neural Network. Conventional smoke detection method consist of simple or mixed functions using color, temporal, spatial characteristics. However, most of all, they don't consider the early fire conditions. In this paper, we analysis the smoke color and motion characteristics, and revised distinguish the candidate smoke region. Smoke diffusion, transparency and shape features are used for detection stage. Then it apply the BPN-Network (Back-Propagation Neural Network). The simulation results showed 91.31% accuracy and 2.62% of false detection rate.

  • Risk analysis process, which identifies vulnerabilities and threat causes of network assets and evaluates expected loss when some of network assets are damaged, is essential for diagnosing ISP network security levels and response planning. However, most existing risk analysis systems provide only methodological analysis procedures, and they can not reflect continually changing vulnerabilities and threats information of individual network system on real time. For this reason, this paper suggests new system design methodology which shows a scheme to collects and analyzes data from network intrusion detection system and vulnerability analysis system and estimate quantitative risk levels. Additionally, experimental performance of proposed system is shown.

  • We analyzed romance of the three kingdoms written by Luo Guanzhong by using complex network to compare its properties with those of social network. The three kingdom network has a scale free and hierarchical network properties. Human-human interaction networks are dramatically changing in response to time and space. Due to lack of the dynamic interacting data, the researches only focus to analysis for properties of the statical networks. The romance of the three kingdoms is a Chinese historical novel based upon events from the end of the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms era of China, and the reunification of the land. There are over a thousand characters, over a three thousand human-human interactions, and the dynamic changed in human-human interactions in the historical novel. Here, we introduce that a possible method for analyzing about dynamic changing of the complex network.

On the Design of a Big Data based Real-Time Network Traffic Analysis Platform (빅데이터 기반의 실시간 네트워크 트래픽 분석 플랫폼 설계)

  • Big data is one of the most spotlighted technological trends in these days, enabling new methods to handle huge volume of complicated data for a broad range of applications. Real-time network traffic analysis essentially deals with big data, which is comprised of different types of log data from various sensors. To tackle this problem, in this paper, we devise a big data based platform, RENTAP, to detect and analyse malicious network traffic. Focused on military network environment such as closed network for C4I systems, leading big data based solutions are evaluated to verify which combination of the solutions is the best design for network traffic analysis platform. Based on the selected solutions, we provide detailed functional design of the suggested platform.
