  • The purpose of this study was to examine the difference of the father's and mother's reactions to their children's negative emotions, relations among the children's variables, parent's variables, and parent's reactions. The subjects selected were 183 mothers and 183 fathers with children aged three to five-years-old, from a childcare center and kindergarten in Kwang-ju. Parental emotion-related practices regarding children's negative emotions were assessed with an adaptation of the CCNES(Fabes et al, 1990) that was modified by Kim Hee-Jung(1994). Descriptives, Pearson's correlation coefficient, were used for data analysis by using the SPSS 15.0 program. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, fathers and mothers used more positive reactions than negative reactions when their children showed negative emotions. The mothers were significantly higher than fathers on encouragement of expression, punitive, and distress reactions. Second, the children's age and gender, parent's age, level of education and income were negatively and positively correlated to the father's and mother's reactions to their children's negative emotions.

  • Purpose Recently, as a new business marketing tool, short form content focused on fun and interest has been shared as hashtags. By extracting positive and negative keywords from media audiences through comment analysis of social media news, various stakeholders aim to quickly and easily grasp users' opinions on major news. Design/methodology/approach YouTube videos were searched using the YouTube Data API and the results were collected. Video comments were crawled and implemented as HTML elements, and the collection results were checked on the web page. The collected data consisted of video thumbnails, titles, contents, and comments. Comments were word tokenized with the R program, comparing positive and negative dictionaries, and then quantifying polarity. In addition, social network analysis was conducted using divided positive and negative comments, and the results of centrality analysis and visualization were confirmed. Findings Social media users' opinions on issue news were confirmed by analyzing and visualizing the centrality of keywords through social network analysis by dividing comments into positive and negative. As a result of the analysis, it was found that negative objective reviews had the highest effect on information usefulness. In this way, previous studies have been reaffirmed that online negative information has a strong effect on personal decision-making. Corporate marketers will analyze user comments on social network services (SNS) to detect negative opinions about products or corporate images, which will serve as an opportunity to satisfy customers' needs.

  • This paper will show that traditional approaches to the derivation of different negative words have been of an essentially hypothetical nature, based on either linguists' intuitions or rather scant evidence, and that native-speaker dictionary entries show meaning potentials (rather than meanings) which are in fact linguistic and cognitive prototypes. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that using a large corpus of natural language can provide better answers to questions about word-formation (i.e., with particular reference to negative prefixation) than any other source of information.

  • Purpose - This paper aims to examine a spirituality's impact on the posttraumatic interpersonal relationships of family violence with a structural equation model(SEM). This article starts with the research idea that family violence experience bring about negative emotion in terms of interpersonal relationship leading to the distribution of negative affect in social relationship. The research question of this study pinpoints on how family violence experience affects interpersonal relationship problems and how spirituality affects interpersonal relations problems. Based on the idea, we attempts to deal with spirituality's impact as a driving factor of transforming the distribution of negative affect. Research design, data, and methodology - The structural equation modelling(SEM) is employed as a analysis method of this study. SEM provides a chiefly cross-sectional statistical modelling method, and moreover it allows multiple variables to be associated with a latent variable in this analysis. 300 samples from Seoul, Gyeonggy and Gangwon are selected in the survey. We chose available 271 among them. Results - The results verify that trauma have placed an negative impact on personal relations. The study results also shows that the more serious get the degree of family violence trauma, the worse become interpersonal relationship problems. What is more interesting is that the degree of trauma's impact on interpersonal relation problems in male is higher than that of trauma's impact in female. It is mainly attributed to the fact that women are superior to men in terms of empathy ability and interpersonal relationship orientation. It can be noted that the well-managed spirituality will be able to make a great contribution towards reducing the degree of trauma caused by interpersonal relationships. Conclusions - The study results demonstrates that family violence have negative impacts on spirituality, while spirituality have an positive impacts on reduction the problems of interpersonal relationship. It has been found out that family violence trauma may cause negative affectivity in personal relations, which can distribute negative impacts regarding interpersonal relationship in society. This study also supports that spirituality will be able to function well as a helper, which may reduce the distribution of negative affect in society.

  • The findings of serum biochemical tests in the inhabitants residing in some riverside areas of kyongsangnam-do were analized to know the correlation with the Clonorchis sinensis infection. A total of 2,722 fecal samples of inhabitants was examined by Kato's cellophane thick smear and formalin-ether sedimentation methods, and their serums were analized biochemically. Three hundred and thirty-three inhabitants (12.2%) were positive with C. sinensis eggs (egg-positive group), and remaining 2,389 were negative (egg-negative group). In the egg-positive group, the positive .ate of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) was 6.9% (male: 10.3%; female: 3.2%), that of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was 6.3% (male: 9.1%; female: 3.2%), of $\gamma$-glutamy1 transpeptidase ($\gamma$-GIP) was 9.0% (male: 13.1%; female: 4.4%), and that of $\alpha$-fetoprotein (AEP) was 3.0% (male: 2.9%; female: 3.2%). In the egg-negative group, the positive rate of AST was 5.2% (male: 8.9%; female: 3.2%), that of ALT was 5.1% (male: 8.6%; female: 3.2%), of $\gamma$-GTP was 7.5% (male: 13.0%; female: 4.5%), and that of AFP was 0.3% (male: 0.5%; female: 0.1%). In the egg-positive group, 127 cases (38.1%) were light infection, 108 (32.4%) were moderate infection,64 (19.2%) were heavy infection, and 34 (10.2%) were very heavy infection. The positive rates of all tests were high according to the intensity of infection. From the above results, It was confirmed that prevalence of clonorchiasis is still high in some riverside areas of Kyongsangnam-do, and findings of serum biochemical tests are not different between the egg-positive group and egg-negative group. However, there were some difference in the positive rates of serum AST, ALT, $\gamma$-GTP and AEP by the age, sex and the intensity of infection.

  • Nine shrub layer communities under two relatively well conserved natural summer green forests in the central region of Korean Peninsula were studied for the pattern of stem distribution in terms of Greig-Smith's multiple split-plot experiment and for the association between the population of the two main species in terms of Kershaw's covariance analysis respectively. Four contiguous belt transects, $4{\times}64m size with 1{\times}1m$ basic unit, were set in each shrub layer communities. Significant primary clumps with $1{\times}1m or 1{\times}2m$ dimension wer observed consistently throughout the nine study sites. The primary clumps themselves were significantly distributed either regularly or at random. The association between the two principal species of each shrub layer is highly significantly either positive or negative in $1{\times}1m or 1{\times}2m$ dimension. As the plot size increases from $1{\times}1m to 8{\times}8m$ the associational trends were changed from negative to positive direction in one forests. But the change from positive to negative direction and the consistent negative association were also observed from the other forest. All of the association trends were observed only from $1{\times}1m to 4{\times}4m$ dimension. These results are suggestive that the distributional pattern of the shrub layer species under the summer green forest is simple mosaic fashioned with $1{\times}1m or 1{\times}2m$ dimension. The rest of the principal species are located in that matrix. The simple mosaic pattern of two principal species are located in that matrix. The simple mosaic pattern of two principal species seems to be controlled by change in micro-environmental pattern. Differences between the primary random group and clumped group among sites also suggest that competition exists for light or/and soil between primary clumped groups.

  • We prove a central limit theorem for the negatively associated random variables in a Hilbert space and extend this result to the linear process generated by negatively associated random variables in a Hilbert space. Our result implies an extension of the central limit theorem for the linear process in a real space under negative association to a simplest case of infinite dimensional Hilbert space.

  • Just as it Is said that the darkness of the universe is not absence of light but the dark material itself, Moo-geuk and Tae-geuk are one thing, and an empty space is not empty but full of nothing, margin in fine art is a living space where negative space and positive shape do not exist separately but are connected to each other and combined into a unified space to perish ultimately.

  • Let {$X_{ni}$, $i{\geq}1$, $n{\geq}1$} be an array of rowwise asymptotically negatively associated random variables and {$a_{ni}$, $i{\geq}1$, $n{\geq}1$} an array of constants. Some results concerning complete convergence of weighted sums ${\sum}_{i=1}^{n}a_{ni}X_{ni}$ are obtained. They generalize some previous known results for arrays of rowwise negatively associated random variables to the asymptotically negative association case.
