For the evaluation based on weight of cell phone, 46 participants took part in this study. They carried four cell phone which different weigh. After that they made up questionnarie. The result, the people felt positive affect in a light cell phone and negative affect in weighty cell phone. They preferred a light cell phone. But there were not statistically meaning difference in affect of luxurious. It be used when the cell phone which has special target is made.
Purpose: This study was done to identify practical exercise performance and to define the factors related to exercise performance in middle-aged women. Methods: The researchers collected data from 206 middle-aged women, ages 40 to 59. The measurements used were a scale for degree of exercise performance, and self-efficacy scale, affect, perceived barriers and benefits related exercise, body-shape perception, and the youngest child's education stage. The data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 17.0 and SAS program using t-test, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Exercise performance showed significant differences according to body-shape perception (F=5.45, p<.01), the youngest child's education stage (F=4.44, p<.05). Exercise performance had a significant strong positive relation with self-efficacy (r=.616), a moderate relation with self-rated health (r=.428) and with affect related exercise (r=.519), a mild relation with perceived benefits (r=.339) and with social support (r=.239), and a negative mild relation with perceived barriers (r=-.330) with 99% significance. Self-efficacy, affect, perceived barriers, and the youngest child's education stage explained 46.4% of a variance in exercise performance in middle-aged women. The factor most influencing was self-efficacy related exercise at 37.9% of the variance. Conclusion: We can conclude that self-efficacy, affect, perceived barriers, and the youngest child's education stage should be considered as important factors for developing program of middle-aged women.
This study examines how parenting behavior and abuse experience in childhood and temperaments affect problem behavior by sex as it relates to undergraduates. The subject of this research is 220 undergraduates (males, 94; females, 126) attending universities located in Gyeonggi-do. Data were collected through the use of questionnaires during class. According to the results, when parenting behavior experienced in childhood is negative, abuse experience is more frequent, the emotional characteristics of the subject's temperaments are negative, activity is higher, sociability is lower, and problem behaviors such as social withdrawal, hyperactivity, aggressiveness, and obsession are more prevalent. Moreover, for male students, the chief factors explaining their problem behavior are their father's lack of supervision, physical violence, their mother's excessive interference and irrational parenting behavior, and the temperaments of excessive worrying, high activity, and low sociability. In the cases of female students, the primary variables affecting their problem behavior are negative emotional temperaments, low sociability temperaments, their father's low affection, excessive interference, too rational explanation, and their mother's inconsistent parenting behavior.
Purpose - This paper examines whether fiscal and monetary expansion would affect output in Australia. Research design, data, and methodology - An extended IS-LM model which describes the equilibrium in the goods market and the money market is applied. The real effective exchange rate and the real stock price are included in order to determine whether there may be any substitution or wealth effect. The sample consists of Annual data ranging from 1990 to 2018. The GARCH process is used in empirical work to correct for potential autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity. Results - Expansionary fiscal policy reduces output; whereas, expansionary monetary policy raises output. In addition, real appreciation of the Australian dollar, a lower U.S. interest rate, a higher real stock price or a lower expected inflation would increase output. The finding that expansionary fiscal policy has a negative impact on real GDP suggests that the negative crowding-out effect on private spending dominates the positive impact. Conclusions - Fiscal prudence needs to be pursued. Real depreciation of the Australian dollar hurts output. Monetary tightening in the U.S. generates a negative effect on Australia's output. A healthy stock market is conducive to economic growth as higher stock prices tend to result in the wealth and other positive effects, increasing consumption and business spending.
The effect of pressure on the catalytic properties of glutamate racemase from Aquifex pyrophilus, an extremophilic bacterium, was investigated. The activation volume for the overall reaction $({\Delta}V^{\neq})$ and catalysis $({{Delta}V_{cat}}^{\neq})$ was -96.97 ml/mol and 4.97 ml/mol, respectively, while the reaction volume for the substrate binding (${\Delta}V_{K_m^-1}$) was -101.94 ml/mol. The large negative ${\Delta}V^{\neq}$ for the overall reaction indicated that the pressurization of glutamate racemase resulted in enhanced catalytic efficiencies. In addition, this value was also due to the large negative ${Delta}V_{K_m^-1}$ for the substrate binding. The negative value of ${Delta}V_{K_m^-1}$ implied that the conformational changes in the enzyme molecule occurred during the substrate binding process, thereby increasing the degree of hydration. The small value of ${{Delta}V_{cat}}^{\neq}$suggested that the pressure did not affect the glutamate racemase catalysis after the substrate binding.
The present study is to evaluate the performances of flow velocity and wall shear stress in the stenosed coronary artery using human in vivo hemodynamic Parameters and computer simulation. Initial and follow-up coronary angiographics in the patients with angulated coronary stenosis are performed. Follow-up coronary angiogram demonstrated significant difference in the percent of diameter in the stenosed coronary between two groups ($Group\;1:\;40.3{\%},\;Group\;2:\;25.5{\%}$). Flow-velocity wave obtained from in vivo intracoronary Doppler ultrasound data is used for the boundary condition for the computer simulation. Spatial and temporal variations of flow velocity vector and recirculation area are drawn throughout the selected segment of coronary models. The WSS of pre- and post-intracoronary stenting are calculated from three-dimensional computer simulation. Then negative shear stresses area on 3D simulation we noted on the inner wall of the post-stenotic area before stenting. The negative WSS is disappeared after stenting. High spatial and temporal WSS before stenting fell into within physiologic WSS after stenting. This finding was prominent in Model 2. The present study suggest that hemodynamic forces exerted by pulsatile coronary circulation termed WSS might affect on the evolution of atherosclerosis within the angulated vascular curvature. The local recirculation area which has low or negative WSS, might lead to progression of atherosclerosis.
Background: The attendance rates for cancer screening are low in Japan. Little is actually known about how the Japanese perceive cancer. Since beliefs about illness affect individuals' health care practice, the aim of this study was to explore beliefs about cancer and factors associated with those beliefs, focusing on representative cancer sites. Materials and Methods: Japanese adults (${\geq}20$ years old) who had not been diagnosed with any cancers and were not health care professionals were recruited, using a convenience sampling approach. A total of 91 participants completed questionnaires including open-ended questions. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the responses. Results: Five themes were suggested: (i) a threatening illness that might greatly change one's future life; (ii) basic cancer knowledge; (iii) a curable illness with early detection and adequate treatment; (iv) causes of cancer; and (v) anyone can develop cancer. Families or friends' negative consequences of cancer were associated with negative beliefs about the disease. Gestational cancer was the most representative site of most themes. Conclusions: A threatening illness (e.g., death or incurable illness) was the most common belief among the Japanese laypeople. Importance of early detection and treatments should be more emphasized, and future screening programs should include strategies modifying negative cancer beliefs among Japanese laypeople.
This paper presents a multi-phase fluid simulation that realistically represents small scale details. We achieve this by creating escaped particles based on physical methods. Escaped particles are the remained particles after correcting levelset. Generation of escaped particles in this paper differs from previous works; this fluid simulation is extended by adding lift force and drag force to positive escaped particles. And negative escaped particles represent droplet or splash effect; when they are merged into the negative levelset value, they affect the nodes' velocity (two-way coupling). This simulation that uses positive and negative escaped particles deals with detailed fluid motions dynamically in small scale.

Price discount is one of the commonly used promotion strategies to increase sales and revenue. If a discount is perceived before the purchase (i.e., pre-purchase discount), consumers are likely to perceive it as a potential gain. If it is noticed after making a regular-priced purchase (i.e., post-purchase discount), consumers may develop negative emotions and attitudes. Based on the rising transparency and omnipresence of price and discount information through web and mobile platforms, we attempt to tackle an understudied topic on the negative effect of post-purchase price discount. Specifically, post-purchase discount information may increase consumers' perception of monetary loss, which may affect consumers' decision to return the product, potentially increasing the operating costs borne by retailers. Based on a close scrutinization of the current market environment and previous academic literature, we suggest a novel conceptual framework to understand consumers' perception, attitude, and behavior (perception of loss, willingness to return) upon perceiving various formats of discount promotion (absolute value vs. percentage discount) posterior to the purchase of a product. We also look at the effect of price level (low-priced vs. high-priced). For marketing practitioners, we intend to suggest optimal promotion formats that can alleviate consumers' negative perceptions and prevent additional operation costs.
The purpose of this study was to identify the change attributes of food courts inside department stores or shopping centers, which are becoming more sophisticated and gentrified. A survey was conducted regarding customer satisfaction level of food services, which influences customers' revisit behavioral intentions, to provide future development direction. Using an exploratory factor analysis, 55 questions on food and beverage service, atmosphere, comfort, sanitation, and food quality were produced. This study tested how these choice factors affect customers' positive or negative impressions of their dining experiences through multiple regression analysis. Results indicate that 'food service' was the most important factor contributing to customers' positive impressions along with higher revisit behavioral intentions. On the contrary, respondents who received poor 'food service' had higher negative impressions with low revisit intentions. The results and findings of this study will positively influence marketing and customer relationship management and thus help design of successful strategies for food court development.
