  • This paper introduces the development of HF(NFC) and UHF band(13.56 MHz, 920 MHz) tag antennas, imbedded in a box. In dual band antennas, the HF band tag can be used to inspect the box using NFC, and the UHF band tag can be used for logistics. The dielectric constant of the box material is measured and used for simulation. The Ntag213 chip manufactured by NXP is used in HF loop antennas, since NFC is possible with Ntag213. For the UHF band, the Higgs-3 chip manufactured by Alien is used. The HF tag antenna is located at the center of the UHF tag antenna, and the location of the HF tag antenna is calculated while considering coupling effects. The designed tag can be used by both the bands for the purposes of logistics and authentication.

  • Internet of Thing (IoT) and NFC (Near Field Communication) have got a good adaptable structure that it can be easily combined with any wireless network. Since IoT/NFC can be used to communicate wirelessly with all the transactions that can be done remotely without any physical connections. In this paper, we propose an enhanced secure IoT/NFC protocol based on LTE network that enhances the original security level provided by the LTE. Our approach is new in a sense that it covers LTE in contrast to old networks like GSM and 3G, which substantially treated in the literature. Moreover, both GSM and 3G have several drawbacks when they are combined with the NFC technology, which has potential weakness in confidentiality, integrity, and authentication. Hence our new approach will resolve the security of the new LTE system. We expect that our protocol will result in new secure applications for the smart phone markets.

  • Most recent trend reveals broader state of provision of NFC service as NFC technology was applied on smartphones which has become core communication tools by providing integrated services such as payment, medical, and personal authentication. Moreover, with integration of original service and NFC technology, new service providers now can handle personal information of original service or can handle other personal information with transition of previous service provider to NFC service provider. Considering current state of security industry along with NFC technology and service, we would like to analyze current stage of security threats and plan the counter strategies to create NFC service structure.

  • WHO declared a global pandemic on March 11th for Corona 19. However, there is a situation where you have to go to building for face-to-face education or seminars for economic and social activities. The first check method of COVID-19 infection is to measure body temperature, so the primary entrance and exit is blocked for near-field body temperature measurement. However, since it is troublesome to check directly, thermal camera is installed at the entrance of the building, and body temperature is measured indirectly using the infrared camera to control access. In case of middle and high schools, universities, and lifelong education center, we need a system that is possible to interoperate with attendance checks and automatically recognizes whether to wear masks and can authenticate students. We proposed the system that is to confirm whether to wear a mask with a camera that is embedded in a smart mirror, and that authenticates the user through voice recognition of the user who wants to enter the building by using voice recognition technology and determines whether to enter them or not. The proposed system can check attendance if it is linked with near-field temperature measurement and attendance check APP of student's smart phone.

  • The dual security system that manages user's account information and uses NFC and OTP has been proposed. It also enhances the security of the user authentication phase by using the features that recognize within the range of less than 1m of NFC and the high security of NFC itself. During the graduation work design process which was carried out for one year and six months in a group of two in the electronics engineering major of the four-year undergraduate system was conducted. In the interim results, we participated in the conferences and thesis contest at the Institute of related to major for three times. Finally passed the examination process for three times judged by 6 professors in the major. The results were published in a graduation thesis together with other people who passed and composed in thesis form. Through the experience gained through these stages of design and production, it has gained the confidence to gain employment opportunities and actively pursue the growth stage, and presented a methodology to practice engineering education through employment.
