Design of 3MW Class Outer Rotor Type PMSG for Wind Turbine (풍력발전용 3MW급 외부회전자형 영구자석 동기발전기 설계)

  • Over the last decade, wind turbine industry has rapidly increased around world. These days many parts of the wind generators are induction generator. But it has some problems such as gearbox failure, rotor excitation and maintenance. Thus many manufacturers are considered permanent magnet synchronous generator named PMSG and direct drive. PMSG uses NdFeB magnet has many the advantage compare with induction generator. In this study, 3MW class outer rotor type PMSG for wind turbine is proposed. The generator features 2.6m stator outer radius, 1200mm stator length, 81 pole pairs, 14 rated rpm, 42kN/$m^2$ shear force density and 94.2% efficiency. Design and analysis generator using FEM program. Then calculate and derivate no load voltage, losses, conductor temperature. To reduce total harmonic distortion and cogging torque, the stator is applied the stator skewing. And to evaluate the designed generator, compare with other generators by active mass per rating torque and torque density.

  • Recently, we have developed a linear brushless DC motor(LBLDCM) with high speed and precise position control performance to apply it to the semiconductor assembly and inspection machinery. It is composed of double side alignment by two armature-stator pairs and each pair is consist of a moving armature with 8 poles by 3 phase coils and a stator with rare earth permanent magnet (Nd-Fe-B) arrays. Through the thrust force analysis on a simplified and whole model of the suggested LBLDCM by an Electromagnetic FEM solver, skew angle of magnet arrays to reduce the thrust force ripple and the winding conditions of the armature is designed. From experimental results, the user's requirements was satisfied and we confirmed distinctly that the repeatable accuracy less than a micron of the linear motion can be obtained at high speed by the developed LBLDCM. This is owing to directly drive the work without the gear train.

  • In this paper, Magnetic Flux Leakage(MFL) method is used to detect surface defect in ferromagnetic plate. Surface defects are created on the SM 45C ferromagnetic plate and magnetizing equipment is composed to perform MFL nondestructive testing. The length and width of defect is twice the thickness of ferromagnetic plate, and defects with different depths are made artificially for the experiment. Also, NdFeB magnet in magnetizing equipment is used to make magnetic flux. This paper shows that it is possibile to detect 10% defect and to analyze numerically for any defect using MFL method.

The permanent magnet motor small size and the research regarding the research of the torque and efficiency is coming to be active. From this paper the research regarding the quality permanent magnet motor and analysis and it was developed recently the NdFeB anisotropic bond magnet which is a high magnetic force material use, from the hazard which accomplishes power density it is high permanent magnet motor of small size and light weight it researched. The Finite Element Method it led and motor optimization. Also the experiment and analysis permanent magnet motor it is improved the motor and result it led and different it compared.

중국 자성재료 산업의 현황 및 발전 전망

  • 자성재료는 각종 전자품에서 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 소재로서 가전제품, 컴퓨터, 통신설비, 자동차 및 국방산업과 직결되어 있다. 현재 중국은 각종 자성재료의 생산량이 세계 1위이며 자성재료 생산대국과 산업중심의 역할을 하고 있다. 중국 자성재료의 중, 장기 시장 발전 전망이 매우 유망한 바, 중국의 자성재료 생산품의 전세계에서의 인식은 한층 더 올라갈 것으로 본다. 과학기술 독창능력, 기술개조와 기업의 관리수준을 반드시 강화시키고 산업구조를 조절하고 생산품의 등급을 한 단계 상승시켜 중국을 자성재료 대국으로부터 강국으로 진입하도록 인도해야 한다는 전략은 지난 11월초 중국 상해에서 개최한 "중국 자성재료 산업 중장기 발전 전략 포럼"에서 제기된 것이다. 본문에서는 이 포럼에서 발표된 내용과 산업계의 통계자료를 바탕으로 거시적인 각도에서 중국 자성체 산업의 전체적인 현황을 분석하였고 희토류 영구자석 특히 중국의 소결과 본드 NdFeB 자석의 산업현황을 소개했고, 희토류 영구자석에 대한 중국의 연구개발 상황을 소개했으며 자성체 산업발전의 전망에 대한 예측과 분석도 수행하였다.

Magnetic Wireless Motion Capturing System and its Application for Jaw Tracking System and 3D Computer Input Device

  • We have developed a new tracking system of jaw movement. The system consists of two permanent NdFeB magnets and 32 elements of two-axial fluxgate sensor array, The two magnets are attached to head portion and front tooth. This system does not need any attachments of the head portion or mouth such as clutch or magnetic field sensor except magnets. The proposed system is applicable for five degree of freedom. Position accuracy within 2]m was achieved. We developed a 3D computer input device by using the above mentioned technique.

  • Some minor elements(Al, B, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Gd, Mg, Mn, Mo, Nd, Ni, P, Pb, Si, Sn, Sr, Ti, V, Yb, Zn and Zr) in iron compounds such as the S/G sludge of a power plant were separated from iron by anionic and cationic exchange methods. If a ICP-AES or AAS determination follows this method, minor elements of more than 2 or 20 ppm of Fe can be determined with an error less than 20% except Sn and Mo. Alkaline elements were excluded from this study since they can be easily recovered from an anionic exchange. Application to real sludge samples is ongoing.

  • A moving-coil-type linear oscillatory actuator is consisted of the NdFeB permanent magnets with high specific energy as the stator, a coil-wrapped nonmagnetic hollow rectangular structure and an iron core as a pathway for magnetic flux. The inductance of moving coil and the push/pull effect is obtained from the permeance model of LOA with the open magnetic circuit. The analytical method are verified using the 2D finite element method.

  • This paper presents results of FEA and tests on the characteristics of moving coil type LOA due to the static field excitation method. In case the static field is generated by NdFeB permanent magnet, the static thrust is almost 6 times than that by electromagnet. Therefore under the same power, the volume becomes small according to using permanent magnet for the generation of static field.

  • A voice-coil-type LOA consists of the NdFeB permanent magnets with high specific energy as the stator, a coil-wrapped nonmagnetic hollow rectangular structure. We have to obtain the back-EMF constant ${\kappa}_E$ from 3D FEA and experiments, precisely. The ${\kappa}_E$ and other parameters provide the transfer function, through which is derived the frequency response characteristics. Inverter-fed LOA is examined aiming to compare with results of simulation.
