The purpose of this study was to analyze the spatial dose according to the distance by location of medical workers when using a mobile X-ray fluoroscopy device in the operating room through a simulation experiment. The MCNPX program was used for the simulation, and the location of medical workers was set around the operating table, and the spatial dose distribution according to the distance and changes in imaging conditions was evaluated. As a result, The highest score was 2.74×10-4 mGy, 2.72×10-4 mGy, and 1.18×10-4 mGy based on the 10 cm distance from the operating table. Spatial dose depending on the distance 100cm, A point 5.15×10-5 mGy is decreased 19% of 10cm, D point 5.12×10-5 mGy, 19 % of 10cm, and G pint, 1.73×10-5 mGy is reduced by 15% of 10cm. Based on this study, medical-related workers directly or indirectly participating in surgery carry potential risks of radiation exposure during surgery, but there are difficulties in radiation protection due to the nature of their work. Therefore, efforts to reduce exposure suitable for the operating room environment will be required.
The IoT market continues to expand and grow, but the security threat to IoT devices is also increasing. However, it is difficult to apply the security technology applied to the existing system to IoT devices that have a problem of resource limitation. Therefore, in this paper, we present a service that can improve the security of IoT devices by presenting authentication and lightweight cryptographic algorithms that can reduce the overhead of applying security features, taking into account the nature of resource limitations of IoT devices. We want to apply these service to home network IoT equipment to provide security. The authentication and lightweight cryptographic algorithm application protocols presented in this paper have secured the safety of the service through the use of LEA encryption algorithms and secret key generation by users, IoT devices and server in the IoT environment. Although there is no difference in speed from randomly generating secret keys in experiments, we verify that the problem of resource limitation of IoT devices can be solved by additionally not applying logic for secret key sharing to IoT devices.
The radon gas from nature mainly considers a cause of radon problems, and it is closely affect human life cycle. Korean yellow residual soil, Hwangtoh, widely used as a building material, is considered to be one of major sources of indoor radon. However, there have, as yet, been no studies about radon from Hwangtoh in mass market brands. Here, we investigated the indoor radon concentrations and exhalation rates in four Hwangtohs from different brand names and regional features. The Closed Chamber Method (CCM) conducted by a Continuous Radon Monitor (CRM) has been used for the rates of radon exhalation. Based on equations of previous references, the indoor radon concentrations were deducted. As a result, the radon surface exhalation rates resulted in the 1.4208 to 3.0293 Bq·㎡·h-1 range. Significant differences were found among Hwangtohs according to production regions. Materials with higher radon concentration required a longer time to reach a quasi-steady state in a given environment, in other words, the number of half-life cycles increased from a set starting point. The experimentally identified Hwangtohs demonstrated its safety for construction purposes. There exists, so far, a possibility to exert influence radon emanation due to unidentified factors. Therefore, it is necessary to corroborate with more research by increasing the number of Hwangtohs, considering the other references reported high radon exhalation rates. In addition, it is highly recommended that the radon exhalation rates should be measured for all building materials for preventing human health before the material usage.

Recently, Harmful sites, including pornographic videos, drugs, personal information and hacking tool distribution sites, have caused serious social problems. However, due to the nature of the Internet environment where anyone can use it freely, it is difficult to control the user effectively. And the site operator operates by changing the domain to bypass the blockage. Therefore, even once identified sites have low persistence. In this paper, we propose multi-channel domain tracking technology, a technique that can effectively track changes in the domain addresses of harmful sites, including the same or similar content, by tracking changes in these harmful sites. Proposed technology is a technology that can continuously track information in a domain using OSINT technology. We tested and verified that the proposed technology was effective for domain tracking with a 90.4% trace rate (sensing 66 changes out of 73 domains).
The advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution is also causing many changes in defense operations. Defense reform and the fourth industrial revolution promoted smart defense innovation, and attempts are being made to incorporate cutting-edge science and technology into various fields such as weapons systems and defense operations. Education and training is one of the areas in which information and intelligence are urgently needed in the spirit of defense operations. Due to the nature of defense education and training, which aims to fight against the enemy, there is no emphasis on psychological training in the field rather than informatization, but in developed countries with various experiences of modern warfare, investment and vitalization of education and training are vital. Through this, efforts are being made to foster soldiers with problem-solving skills in uncertain battlefields. The informatization and intelligence of defense education and training is no longer a matter that can be delayed, and the innovation of education and training using cutting-edge science and technology can be said to be an age-old task to improve the results of education and training in the fourth industrial revolution. The purpose of this is because the application of related technologies is not the goal itself as the 4th Industrial Revolution arrives, but it has been made possible through the rapid advancement of science and technology that has made it difficult to realize education and training, even though it has long been desired. Ultimately, education and training data will be integrated and artificial intelligence-based intelligent learning systems will maximize the performance of education and training, thereby improving the combat readiness.
Biomass can be considered as chemical energy obtained from nature, and includes all living organisms such as plants, animals, and microorganisms. Biomass is eco-friendly, is easily obtainable from the environment, and can be recycled without special treatment processes. Biomass can also be converted into bioenergy fuel through pyrolysis and fermentation. Therefore, it has been considered as a renewable energy source, which prevents the depletion of natural resources such as fossil fuels. In this study, torrefaction to increase the carbon content in various types of biomass sources (sawdust, rice straw, rice bristles, coffee ground, and waste wood) was conducted under an inert atmosphere and at a temperature of 523~573K. The possibility of using torrefied biomass as an alternative to solid fuel for industrial purposes was analyzed by examining the carbon concentration and combustion behaviors.
The textile industry in Korea, the dyeing sector is an energy-intensive sector and has low per-unit productivity due to its labor-intensive nature. If the defective rate of dyed fabrics is high, additional costs are incurred due to an increase in production cost due to re-dyeing. Therefore, the goal of the dyeing factory was to minimize the defect rate rather than to save energy. It was difficult to check the dyeing state of the fabric in real time due to the risk of accidents due to burns or pressure when dyeing in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment. In this paper, a complex sensor that can measure the exhaustion rate of dye solution in the dyeing machine using turbidity, pH, and conductivity sensors was proposed, and the experimental method and experimental results were analyzed.

Functional cosmetics are products that help emphasize certain functions such as skin whitening, wrinkle reduction and UV protection. Functional cosmetic items have expanded since 2017. Korea's functional cosmetics industry has focused on skin whitening, wrinkle reduction, UV protection, and high-performance items including medical cosmetics that are in the research and development stage. France leads the international export performance rankings followed by the United states and Germany. France's cosmetic industry is renowned for emphasizing mechanism driven functional cosmetics in bio-industrial and functional materials, while the United states cosmetic industry is in high demand for luxury premium products. The German cosmetic industry is showing growing strength in bio high tech functional cosmetics. For the Korean cosmetic industry to challenge the top 3, it will also have to develop new material of various functional cosmetics that can be applied to emerging industries, and develop a variety of industry equipment in an environment where politics and economy are backed by more focus on research.

For more efficient energy management of nodes in wireless sensor networks, research has been conducted on mobile sink nodes that deliver data from sensor nodes to server recently. UAV (Unmanned Aerial vehicle) is used as a representative mobile sink node. Also, most studies on UAV propose algorithms for calculating optimal paths and have produced rapid advances in the IoD (Internet of Drones) environment. At the same time, some papers proposed mutual authentication and secure key exchange considering nature of the IoD, which requires efficient creation of multiple nodes and session keys in security perspective. However, most papers that proposed secure communication in mobile sink nodes did not protect end-to-end data privacy. Therefore, in this paper, we propose integrated security model that authentication between mobile sink nodes and sensor nodes to securely relay sensor data to base stations. Also, we show informal security analysis that our scheme is secure from various known attacks. Finally, we compare communication overhead with other key exchange schemes previously proposed.

To keep pace with Industry 4.0, it is imperative for companies to redesign their working environments by adopting robotic automation systems. Automation lines are facilitating the latest cutting-edge technologies, such as 3D vision and industrial robots, to outdo competitors by reducing costs. Considering the nature of the manufacturing industry, a time-saving workflow and smooth linkwork between processes is vital. At Dellics, without any additional new installation in the automation lines, only a few improvements to the working process could raise productivity. Three requirements are the development of gripping technology by utilizing a 3D vision system for the recognition of the material shape and location, research on lighting projectors to target long distances and high illumination, and testing of algorithms/software to improve measurement accuracy and identify products. With some of the functional requisites mentioned above, improved robotic automation systems should provide an improved working environment to maximize overall production efficiency. In this article, the ways in which such a system can become the groundwork for establishing an unmanned working infrastructure are discussed.
