NTIS 측면에서 본 국가과학기술표준분류 및 호환표의 유용성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the problems of current National Standard Classification of Science and Technology for National Science and Technology Information System)

  • 과학기술부는 국가 과학기술정보의 체계적인 수집, 분석 및 배포를 위해 국가차원에서 국가과학기술종합정보시스템(NTIS)을 구축하고 있다. 성공적인 NTIS의 추진을 위해서는 다양한 정보를 체계적으로 분류하고 유통시킬 수 있는 분류체계가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 국가과학기술표준분류와 각 기관의 분류를 상호 연계하는 호환표를 사용하여 NTIS를 구축하는 것이 타당한지에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 현행 분류체계를 이용하는 경우 정보의 유통이 원활하지 못한 것으로 나타나고 있으므로 성공적인 NTIS의 구축을 위해서는 새로운 분류체계가 고려될 필요가 있는 것으로 보인다.

Automatic Linkage Model of Classification Systems Based on a Pretraining Language Model for Interconnecting Science and Technology with Job Information

  • For national industrial development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is necessary to provide researchers with appropriate job information. This can be achieved by interconnecting the National Science and Technology Standard Classification System used for management of research activity with the Korean Employment Classification of Occupations used for job information management. In the present study, an automatic linkage model of classification systems is introduced based on a pre-trained language model for interconnecting science and technology information with job information. We propose for the first time an automatic model for linkage of classification systems. Our model effectively maps similar classes between the National Science & Technology Standard Classification System and Korean Employment Classification of Occupations. Moreover, the model increases interconnection performance by considering hierarchical features of classification systems. Experimental results show that precision and recall of the proposed model are about 0.82 and 0.84, respectively.

하이브리드 방식에 의한 경제.인문.사회 분야 표준분류체계 개선에 관한 연구 (An Hybrid Approach to Improve the Standard Classification System in the Domains of Economics, Humanities, and Social Science)

  • 분류체계의 역할은 유사한 주제의 정보객체가 함께 모일 수 있도록 하는 것이며, 이러한 분류체계의 사용은 궁극적으로 효율적인 정보관리와 서비스를 가능하게 한다. 경제 인문 사회 계열의 정부출연 연구기관을 관장하는 경제 인문사회연구회는 개별 연구기관에서 생산하는 연구성과물을 통합적으로 관리 및 평가하기 위해 해당 분야의 표준분류체계의 도입을 시도하였고, 2008년 정부기능연계모델(BRM)과 분류담당자와의 설문조사를 바탕으로 표준분류체계 모델을 제시하였다. 그러나 이 표준분류체계는 연구성과물을 조직의 기능별로 분류할 수 있어 효율적인 반면 주제별로 분류하는데 있어서는 제한적이다. 이에 본 연구는 기존의 표준분류체계를 개선하기 위해 다양한 접근 방식이 통합된 하이브리드 방식을 적용하였다. 정부기능연계모델과 이용자 수요조사를 바탕으로 한 기존의 표준분류체계, 전통적인 표준분류체계인 KDC와 연구성과물에서 추출한 키워드의 군집화 실험결과를 종합적으로 비교 분석하여 표준분류체계 개선안을 제시하였다. 이렇게 하이브리드 방식으로 제안된 표준분류체계 개선안은 연구성과물을 체계적으로 관리 운영하는데 있어서 핵심이 될 것으로 사료되며, 궁극적으로 연구성과물의 표준분류체계를 근간으로 한 연구과제 관리시스템에 적용되어 효율적으로 연구 및 과제를 관리할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • Backgrounds: Occupations are grouped on the basis of similarity in tasks and duties performed. Standard occupational classification (SOC) is a tool for organizing all professions into a clearly defined set of groups according to the tasks and duties undertaken in the respective jobs. Objectives: The major objective of this study is to comprehensively review how a SOC system is used in occupational and safety fields such as surveillance, exposure monitoring, occupational epidemiological study, management of carcinogens and analysis of occupational accidents. Methods: We summarized the cases, policies and regulations used in SOC systems in advanced countries and as they appear in articles Results: We found that SOC systems have been widely used in various areas of occupational safety and health in the US, the UK, Finland, and the EU. In general, it is highly common to use SOC in the analysis of occupational accidents and diseases and to identify factors causing those accidents. The SOC system is also used not only for surveillance of exposure to hazardous agents and occupational health, but to manage carcinogens. In order to adjust the effects of a particular job, SOC is used in the general population health area. The Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) has never used or introduced an SOC system. There have been no cases of the application of a SOC system to either the occupational safety and health field or to health surveillance for the general population in Korea. Conclusions: We suggested a need to introduce an SOC system in several occupational safety and health activities, such as work environment measurement, analysis of occupational accidents, specific physical examination and surveillance systems, etc.

  • Since 1990s, we have achieved a certain level of success in standardization of design, construction, and material on housing and public buildings with the national-level promotion. A practical connecting device that can synthesize all the serial processes is required to maximize the effect of construction material standardization. However, desired outcome of the standardization is not achieved yet because these serial standards and notification practices are decided by each part of the process and some are congested. In this study, we aim to improve a general organizational system of Korean Industrial Standard (KS) which is the most fundamental tool for the standardization of construction materials moving from a conventional idea that the standard is only for the material and components producers to a concept that can also be shared by the designers and construction workers. To achieve this, we propose an improvement plan for the Korean Industrial Standard in the perspective of three-tier classification system.

국가지식정보 자원 분류 체계 표준화 연구 (A Study on the Developing Standard Classsification of the National Knowledge and Information Resources)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지식정보자원 데이터베이스를 구축하고 관리하고 서비스하는 국내의 모든 공공 기관과 민간 기관에서 공동으로 활용될 수 있으며 다양한 자료유형과 매체유형을 포괄할 수 있는 국가지식정보 분류표준(안)을 개발하는 것이다. 연구의 기초 작업으로서 문헌분류 체계와 지식정보자원 분류 체계의 차이, 지식정보자원의 분류사례 및 지식정보자원 분류에 대한문헌분류 체계의 적용 가능성을 분석하였다. 기초 분석에 이어 국가지식정보 표준분류 체계 개발에 필요한 지식의 분야별 분포, 분류의 계층과 유연성 확보 방안, 지식정보 자원의 자료유형과 매체유형, 국가지식정보의 포털서비스 방안 등이 분석되었다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 본 연구에서는 주제 분류표, 자료유형 분류표, 매체유형 분류표로 구성된 다원적 국가지식정보 분류 표준(안) 모형을 제시하였다.

신생아중환자 분류도구 개발을 위한 간호활동 규명 및 표준간호시간 조사연구 (A Study on Identifying Nursing Activities and Standard Nursing Practice Time for Developing a Neonatal Patient Classification System in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose: It was necessary for developing a neonatal classification system based on nursing needs and direct care time. This study was, thus, aimed at identifying nursing activities and measuring the standard nursing practice time for developing a neonatal patient classification system in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Methods: The study was taken place in 8 general hospitals located in Seoul and Kyungi province, South Korea from Dec, 2009 to Jan, 2010. By using 'the modified Workload Management System for critical care Nurses' (WMSN), nursing categories, activities, standard time, and task frequencies were measured with direct observation. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Results: Neonatal nursing activities were categorized into 8 areas: vital signs (manual), monitoring, activity of daily living (ADL), feeding, medication, treatment and procedure, respiratory therapy, and education-emotional support. The most frequent and time-consuming area was an ADL, unlike that of adult patients. Conclusion: The findings of the study provide a foundation for developing a neonatal patient classification system in NICU. Further research is warranted to verify the reliability and validity of the instrument.

  • Accurate and versatile image data-sets are essential for fashion AI research and AI-based fashion businesses based on a systematic attribute classification system. This study constructs a color and texture attribute hierarchical classification system by collecting fashion item images and analyzing the metadata of fashion items described by consumers. Essential dimensions to explain color and texture attributes were extracted; in addition, attribute values for each dimension were constructed based on metadata and previous studies. This hierarchical classification system satisfies consistency, exclusiveness, inclusiveness, and flexibility. The image tagging to confirm the usefulness of the proposed classification system indicated that the contents of attributes of the same image differ depending on the annotator that require a clear standard for distinguishing differences between the properties. This classification system will improve the reliability of the training data for machine learning, by providing standardized criteria for tasks such as tagging and annotating of fashion items.

방재자원 분류체계 현황 조사 (An Investigation of Classification System in Disaster Resources Management)

  • Storm and flood damage management systems in national disaster management system(NDMS) were organized into three operation systems. They are prevention, preparation, response, and recovery systems. Disaster resources in each system must be promptly and exactly applied to minimize casualties and loss of properties. However, the disaster resources in current management system can not be immediately used in calamity situation due to the lack of efficiency in statistical data. In this study, the classification system of the disaster resources in storm and flood damage systems was examined to develop the a standard technology in disaster resources management. Problems and reformation points of the classification system were also presented to improve the classification technique and to construct the data base.
