  • The article is devoted to the interpretation of ammonia, one of the fine dust precursors, absorption behavior in water turbulent flow. The water flow was considered as a turbulent flow with Reynolds number more than $10^4$, because ammonia gas penetration depth was deeper at turbulent flow compared to laminar flow. For the interpretation, the dimensionless mass transfer governing-equation and the constant physical-properties at room temperature were used. The diffusivity of ammonia in water and the kinematic viscosity of water were $2{\times}10^{-9}m^2/s$ and $1{\times}10^{-6}m^2/s$, respectively. The concentration distribution of ammonia in water was estimated with respect to the position from the point where the water started to be exposed to ammonia. The quantitative distribution as a function of the mixing length was also acquired. The quantitative interpretation may provide the insight how much the turbulent flow was more efficient to remove ammonia rather than the laminar flow.

  • The architecture reflects geographical characteristics such as geographical environments and climate, it has the characteristics and cultural characteristics of the region that has been constructed. Hansen Village constructed in Period of Japanese Occupation at 'Sorok-Island' in Go-heung, Jeollanam-do was also based on this point. The village, which is a ward of Sorok-Island Province, consists of a village in which patients are self-sufficient in economic and social activities, unlike the modern hospital systems where patients and treatments are concentrated in a single room. Additionally, the facilities for patient acceptance were gradually expanded, with limited interaction with external. Sorok-island shows the expansion of the village center where the new village is formed with the increase of the number of the early adopters in the 1910s and the accommodation facility is built, and it gradually increases the necessary space by opening and repairing the existing facilities by the 1990s Change. In addition, the spatial composition of the village can be divided into three types : decentralized, centralized and single-shift ; it has the same causal relationship as the village's formation. The purpose of this study is identifying the uniqueness of Sorok-Island by analyzing the correlation between the formation of a village to accommodate Hansen Patients in Sorok-Island and the spatial Component Factor.

  • Fifteen years after the modernization of traditional markets, commercial facilities and some 1,000 markets across the country contacted arcade operators, there are no specific guidelines on installation standards, exact guidelines for public facilities, and guidelines on law, maintenance and management yet. Therefore, it is necessary to derive a plan that reflects the mindset of the market project and the users as basic planning data for making arcade remodeling of traditional markets more advanced. As a research method, case studies and surveys were conducted and the details are as follows. Through the case study, this study drew suggestions that were available and needed in Korea on the planning plan of arcade space in the developed traditional market and conducted user preference. The survey participants are 150 users of Daegu seomun market. In addition, the survey contents are approached with the concept of remodeling remuneration, so the total number of questions is 47 including 'accessibility', 'comfort', 'openness', 'safety' and 'integrity', which are five elements of the arcade plan. The survey method assessed the importance and satisfaction of each questionnaire on a 5-point scale, and the survey results were compared with technical statistics and means using the SPSS statistics package. The results of user awareness and image survey, in which the installation and remodeling of the ventilation system of the crosshairs are mentioned in the event of fire or in the case of daily ventilation, are important factors in safety. The user-conscious survey, analyzed in 'integrity', indicates that the use of multi-purpose space is required, and that the layout of street stalls and parking and user movements should be integrated. Mac of this study is going to present direction of remodeling plan and behavior analysis by analyzing user preference data for advanced remodeling of arcade in traditional markets.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the Southeast Asian studies in Korea in a comprehensive way and to set a new task for our academic community. To do this, I tried to analyze the total amount and trends of scholarly achievement (thesis, journal articles, and academic books). The content is divided into research history, research accumulation, and researcher scale. The history of research dates back more than we thought and was decentralized. Research accumulation is becoming more and more pluralistic. The number of researchers from various academic fields was higher than expected. The newly discovered Southeast Asian studies of Korea suggests the task of increasing the inclusiveness of our academic community. The KASEAS (Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies) seems to be narrow and stagnant compared to the trend of Southeast Asian studies in Korea, which is constantly growing quantitatively, academically spreading, and transcending nationality. In order to increase the inclusiveness of the KASEAS, efforts should be made to open a variety of decentralized and autonomous study groups, to invite domestic graduate students from Southeast Asia, and to spread the university's foothold as a point of contact between pluralistic disciplines.

  • With the rapid development of mobile communication systems, various mobile convergence services are appearing and data traffic is exploding accordingly. Because the number of base stations to support these surging devices is also increasing, from a network provider's point of view, reducing energy consumption through these mobile communication networks is one of the most important issues. Therefore, in this paper, we apply the DBSCAN (density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise) algorithm, one of the representative user-density based clustering algorithms, in order to extract the dense area with user density and apply the thinning process to each extracted sub-network to efficiently control the mode of the base stations. Extensive simulations show that the proposed algorithm has better performance results than the conventional algorithms with respect to area throughput and energy efficiency.

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to present evidence by analyzing the research trends in acupuncture treatment in the last 10 years for thromboangiitis obliterans. Methods Randomized controlled trials about acupuncture on thromboangiitis obliterans were searched China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System (OASIS), ScienceON, Koreanstudies Information Service System (KISS) and Research Information Sharing Service (RISS) from January 1, 2011 to November 13, 2021. Only randomized controlled trials were selected and we assessed the risk of bias (RoB) according to the revised Cochrane RoB2 criteria. Results A total of 5 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were selected in this review and all were conducted in China. A total of 326 participants were in 5 RCTs. SP10, ST36, GB34 was the most commonly used treatment point. There were four types of acupuncture used: manual acupuncture, embedding acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, electroacupuncture. The most commonly used indicator for evaluation was the total efficacy rate, and all five studies were significantly higher. Conclusions All selected studies showed the group treated with acupuncture treatments on thromboangiitis obliterans were statistically more effective than the control group. However, the number of studies is too small and the interpretation of the results is limited due to the inclusion of subjective evaluation. So more objective and systematic studies should be conducted continuously.

  • With the revitalization of non-face-to-face transactions, the difference between the size of branches and transaction costs among securities firms has decreased, and the importance of the stock trading system has increased. In particular, the mobile trading system has become more important due to the increase in the proportion of transactions in the mobile trading system, which is widely used by individual investors, and the increase in the number of individual investors after COVID-19. However, user-centered usability studies are insufficient as usability studies on mobile trading systems are conducted through literature surveys or survey methods. Therefore, in this study, a repertory grid technique that finds user's empirical perception was used to find out user-centered usability attributes. The usability attributes of the mobile trading system from the user's point of view were elicited, and the difference in the usability attributes in terms of frequency and importance between the user group and the developer group was identified.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the claim data of Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service to determine what factors affected the length of stay in patients aged 65 and older and undergoing total knee arthroplasty due to the principal diagnosis of gonarthrosis by the type of medical institutions. As a result of making an analysis, gender, age, medical security type, severity, residential area and the number of sickbeds were identified as the factors that influenced the length of stay in each type of medical institutions. At this point in time when an increase in the elderly population triggered by population aging and another subsequent increase in medical expenses put a heavy strain on household and national economy, it's necessary to consider how to shorten the length of stay and how to ensure the efficient management of sickbeds based on the findings of this study. In addition, this study is of significance in that it could be used as basic data on quality life-care for elderly patients by the introduction of a systematic management system geared toward lessening patient burden for medical expenses.

  • Background: Poor sleep quality is associated with psychoactive substance abuse/addiction/withdrawal. Auricular acupuncture (AA) is a nonpharmacological method used for the treatment of sleep disturbances. This study aimed to examine the quality of sleep before and after AA in participants with mental and behavioral disorders due to prior multiple drug use in the therapeutic community. Methods: This was a consecutive case series of 27 participants (25 male [92.6%]). The median age was 35.0 years (interquartile range [IQR], 29.0-37.2 years), methadone/buprenorphine were not used, and the participants were treated with AA (median number of treatments, 15.0 [IQR, 12.0-18.0]) during a median period of 51.0 days (IQR, 49.0-51.0 days) according to the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA)-Acudetox protocol. Sleep quality was determined using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), a self-rated questionnaire that assesses sleep quality and disturbances over a 1-month interval. Results: The global PSQI score dropped (indicating better sleep quality) by a median of 3.0 points (IQR, 0.0-8.0 points) after treatment. In the multivariate logistic regression analysis, with an increase in global PSQI score during AA by 1 point, there was a 0.73-fold reduction in the risk of poor sleep quality post-AA (adjusted odds ratio, 0.73; 95% confidence interval, 0.52-1.01; p<0.055; Nagelkerke's R2 =0.66). Conclusion: The results revealed a positive effect of AA (by the NADA-Acudetox protocol) on sleep quality (as measured by PSQI) among participants in a treatment center with mental and behavioral disorders due to multiple drug use.

  • After COVID-19, the number of people with sleep disorders around the world is increasing. In particular, in the flow of the 4th industrial revolution, the differentiation of types and characteristics of the sleep industry is accelerating. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of each type of sleep-related industry were reclassified from an industrial point of view, and based on this, an attempt was made to review the classification system that can help companies develop sleep products and improve related national systems. Based on the 10th standard industry classification, we compared input cost, value, and usability and analyzed common characteristics, treatments, and preventive effects based on this. A comprehensive taxonomy using matrix analysis was reviewed. As a result, in terms of cost (A), the most common sleeping products are general mattresses and general bedding. It is an IOT device (auxiliary device), and the value aspect (B, B/D) included sleep cafe, bedding rental and management service, and sleep consulting. In terms of utility (A/B), a total of 6 product groups including sleep aids (health functional foods) belong to this category, and in terms of treatment (A/C), a total of 3 product groups including sleep clinics (medical services) belong to this category. As for the product group (A/D) with both properties, it was found that non-insurance sleep treatment medical devices, sleep-related over-the-counter drugs, and some sleep monitoring applications belong to this category. Ultimately, it was found that the sleep industry classification enables the most active product development and composition according to the relative relationship between cost and utility, and treatment and utility. appeared to be necessary.
