Recently, many enterprises are adopting EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) technologies for integrating heterogeneous enterprise information systems. Among EAI levels, data-level integration is relatively straightforward and most popular. However, most commercial solutions provide complex functionalities and are expensive for implementing the data integration tasks at the small & medium enterprises. Also, they have their own proprietary architectures and have a restricted interoperability. Proposed in this paper is the development of a data integration middleware for facilitating data exchanges between the heterogeneous information systems. The main feature of this middleware is a explicit mapping of meta data about the relationships between source and target data. Based on this explicit mapping, users who do not have expertise in information technology at the small & medium enterprises can easily execute data exchange tasks among various information systems.

Structure-dependent integration methods seem promising for structural dynamics applications since they can integrate unconditional stability and explicit formulation together, which can enable the integration methods to save many computational efforts when compared to an implicit method. A newly developed structure-dependent integration method can inherit such numerical properties. However, an unusual overshooting behavior might be experienced as it is used to compute a forced vibration response. The root cause of this inaccuracy is thoroughly explored herein. In addition, a scheme is proposed to modify this family method to overcome this unusual overshooting behavior. In fact, two improved formulations are proposed by adjusting the difference equations. As a result, it is verified that the two improved formulations of the integration methods can effectively overcome the difficulty arising from the inaccurate integration of the steady-state response of a high frequency mode.

This study suggests integration scheme for agricultural governance of South and North Korea after unification by comparing and analyzing their current agricultural governance, assuming drastic changes of economic system in integration process after unification. The North Korea's critical food shortage will force reformation of its agricultural governance to be the top priority in integration process after unification. The agricultural governance of South and North Korea has comparable structures. However, the North Korea's agricultural governance is extremely inefficient because it is established for political purposes. The integration scheme suggested includes expansion of Rural Development Administration, integration of research institutes, establishment of branch of Korea National University of Agriculture and Fisheries, transformation of existing North Korea's organization into South Korea's system and preparation of training programs for North Korea's officials.

This paper suggests a velocity integration algorithm for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) motion measurement to reduce discontinuity of range error. When using position data from Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) to form SAR image, the discontinuity of the data degrades SAR image quality. In this paper, to reduce the discontinuity of EGI position data, EGI velocity integration is suggested which obtains navigation solution by integrating velocity data from EGI. Simulation shows that the method improves SAR image quality by reducing the discontinuity of range error. INS is a similar algorithm to EGI velocity integration in the way that it also obtains navigation solution by integrating velocity measured by IMU. Comparing INS and EGI velocity integration according to grades of IMU and GPS, EGI velocity integration is more suitable for the real system. Through this, EGI velocity integration is suggested, which improves SAR image quality more than existing algorithms.

In land navigation applications, two kinds of GPS/DR integration schemes are commonly used; the loosely-coupled integration scheme and the tightly-coupled one. The loosely-coupled integration filter has a simple structure and is easy to implement. When the number of visible satellites is insufficient, however, it cannot calibrate the errors of the DR sensors. On the contrary the tigthly-coupled integration filter can sup-press the growth of the error in the DR output even when the visibility is poor. However, it has larger com-putation load due to the state dimension and is inconsistent because of the variation in the measurement dimension. This paper presents a GPS/DR integration scheme with dual integration mode. During when the number of visible satellites is sufficient, the proposed scheme operates in a loosely-coupled integration mode. When the visibility becomes poor, it is switched into a tightly-coupled integration mode. Consequently, the pro-posed scheme can calibrate the DR sensors even when the visibility is poor. In addition, its computation time remains constant even if the number of visible satellites increases. Field experiment results show that the performance of the proposed integration method is almost similar to that of the tightly-coupled one.

The GPS/INS integration system navigation can provide improved navigation performance and has been widely used as a main navigation system for military and commercial vehicles. When two navigation systems are tightly coupled and the structure is complicated, a fault in either the GPS or the INS can lead to a disastrous failure of the whole integration system. This paper proposes a real-time fault detection method for an AGPS/INS integration system. The proposed fault detection method comprises a BIT and a fault detection algorithm based on chi-square test. It is implemented by real-time software modules to apply the AGPS/INS integration system and van test is carried out to evaluate its performance.

The purpose of this study was to examine how the relationship with grandparents and intergenerational integration program influences the children's attitudes toward elderly. Data for the study were collected from 132 elementary school students who attended the regional children's centers or social education centers that conduct intergenerational integration programs. The respondents reported positive attitudes toward elderly and perceived elderly as kind, likable, bright, clean and happy. A multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify the variables that affect children's attitudes toward elderly. While frequency of contact with grandparents, perceptions about grandparents, and frequency of intergenerational integration programs had strong effects on the children's attitudes toward elderly, experience of living with grandparents, perceptions about the intergenerational integration programs, and helpfulness of the intergenerational integration programs did not show significant effects on children's attitudes toward elderly.

This study aims to develop an integration performance measurement model for each stage of information systems integration. In order to achieve the purpose of the research, first of all, the concepts of IS integration or consolidation are analyzed through theoretical and practical reviews. Also, a number of important studies of domestic and overseas cases about the stage models of IS integration or consolidation are critically reviewed. Second, we proposed three step stage model of is integration, Physical Integration stage, Application Integration stage, Service Integration stage, and Also proposed the performance measurement model for each stage of information systems integration. Third, especially in case of performance indicators and performance measurement methodology for physical integration stage are illustratively proposed, based upon the case of NCIA (National Computing Integration Agency) in Korea. This study provides the theoretical basis for reasonably deriving the stage model and performance measurement model for each stage of Information Systems Integration, and they are validating through investigating domestic and foreign practices. The results of this study are very likely to contribute to presenting the practical guideline for desirably implementing is integration or IS consolidation.

In a wireless channel above microwave frequency, rain attenuation is very important. In order to predict rain attenuation, 1-min. rain rate distribution is required. This paper discusses appropriate conversion methods to estimate 1-minute rain rate from that of other integration time. Based on the measurement data filed in ITU-R WP3J including ETRI data for 6 consecutive years, distributions of rain rate with 1-, 5-, 10-, 20-, 30-minute integration time were analyzed, both on the global and regional basis, and the parametric relationship between the statistical characteristics of 1-minute and other measurement data were investigated to deduce the conversion methods. It is shown that the global model works good with good accuracy for 5-, 10-, 20-min integration time, and the global model is also applicable globally with good accuracy for 5-, 10-, 20-min integration time. The global conversion model was adopted last year as an ITU-R document for new recommendation. The regional conversion model would also be very useful for locations of similar climatic zone.

[ $0.75delta\%$ ]의 평판광회로(PLC;Planar Lightwave Circuit)소자의 설계 및 제작기술을 가지고 저손실과 높은 누화율을 가진 파장 다중화 및 역다중화 소자를 개발하였다. C-band AWG(Arrayed Waveguide Grating)에서의 삽입손실은 2.503이하, 누화율은 35dB이상, 균일도는 1dB이하이며 L-band에서는 Vernier 디자인을 적용하여 ITU-T의 파장 정확도가 0.04nm이하가 되도록 제작하였다.
