Sensors used in many USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) domain applications generate a large amount of sensor stream data. The volume of sensor stream data is too huge to store the whole data and data speed is too fast to control each of them. In order to provide rapid and reliable context analysis service over sensor stream data, we propose a WHEN-DO context analysis model that supports the functionality of sliding window. This model is designed to be used as follows: If the sensor stream data satisfies condition in 'WHEN' clause, then it will execute actions in 'DO' clause in WHEN-DO context analysis model. The proposed WHEN-DO context analysis model can be applied to many other USN environment applications such as monitoring the status of a building and then taking actions in corresponding context condition.

차세대 비젼 컴퓨팅 환경인 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅(Ubiquitous Computing)환경에서는 사용자에 대한 상황(context)변화에 적응적(adaptive)으로 서비스 해줄 수 있는 응용이 필수적인 요소라고 할 수 있다. Service기반의 분산 네트워크인 JINI를 기반으로, 사용자에 대한 상황을 인식(context-aware)하기 위한 시스템 연구 역시 관심의 대상이라고 한 수 있겠다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 환경을 기반으로 사용자에 대한 행동, 감정상태, 위치와 같은 정보를 인식할 수 있으며, 검색을 통해 사용자의 위치정보, 활동형태 등의 context들을 질의 할 수 있는 Context-aware 챗팅 프로그램을 기술하고 있다. 또한 인터페이스를 사용하는 사용자들에 대한 context 데이터의 표현과 질의를 위해 메타언어인 eXtensible Makup Language (XML)을 사용하였다. 이러한 context-aware system은 편재형 컴퓨팅환경 하에서 사용자에게 유효한 context를 생성 및 관리, 응용 서비스에서 유용하게 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

Recommendation systems provide users with proper services using context information being input from many sensors occasionally under ubiquitous computing environment. But in case there isn't sufficient context information for service recommendation in spite of much context information, there can be problems of resulting in inexact result. In addition, in the quantification step to use context information, there are problems of classifying context information inexactly because of using an absolute classification course. In this paper, we solved the problem of lack of necessary context information for service recommendation by using dynamic profile information. We also improved the problem of absolute classification by using a relative classification of context information in quantification step. As the result of experiments, expectation preference degree was improved by 7.5% as compared with collaborative filtering methods using an absolute quantification method where context information of P2P mobile agent is used.

For another study of soft context and soft concept closely related to formal context and formal concept, in this paper, we propose the notions of conditional concepts, decision concepts and soft decision context based on soft contexts. Subsequently, the notions of consistent soft decision context and consistent set are introduced, and some properties for consistent set of soft decision contexts are investigated.

In the future, the ubiquitous computing environment will provide users with context-aware services, intelligently interacting with omnipresent resources and surrounding environments at any location and time. Therefore, the ubiquitous computing environment requires context-aware applications in order to gather and analyze context information in various situations. However, existing context-aware applications have mainly focused on providing services and adapting themselves to users based on user related contexts. But this environment requires not only user related contexts but also Quality-of-Service (QoS) related contexts. In this paper we propose a frame-work for supporting user-oriented QoS in ubiquitous environments. The proposed approach adopts a semantic ontology and a neural network algorithm in order to reason about explicit and uncertain contexts. We also show the possibility of applying the framework to real environments such as collaborative engineering service, automobile maintenance service and ubiquitous home service.

A representative British designer, Vivienne Westwood's work. world from radical punk style to aristocratic historical dress is explored in context in terms of Englishness. National identity opens up into the process of mobilization of collective sentiment in the national context, unlike nationalism, and Englishness signifies the idea or emotion of England in contrast with Britishness, the political constructor influenced by geographical aspects. There is no doubt that Vivienne Westwood is central to ideas about creativity and originality in English design on subculture. However, in evaluating a designer and her work we should consider the entire context surrounding her from a broader view, rather than arguing only her own ingenuity. In this article, through reconsidering her originality in the historical reference as well as the resistant punk style in aspect of fluid national identity, I show a case of a constituted Englishness, forged by Vivienne Westwood as a cultural creator of national identity. Vivienne Westwood's case hints the complexities of national culture, which constantly shifts, translating her understandings of history and culture into fashion in her contemporary insight and glamorous ways.

The present study was carried out to analyse the frequency(%) for five kinds of inquiry context elements for six kinds of the high school science textbooks in the 7th curriculum. All the elements was classified into three process achievement level such as the basic, supplementary and further level introduced firstly in the 7th curriculum. Five elements of the inquiry context categories appeared as pure scientific context(61.8%), everyday context(22.2%), natural environmental context(7.7%), techno-industrial context(5.9%), and social context(2.4%) in the basic, supplementary and further level. Social context wasn't appeared in the supplementary level. In five elements of inquiry context, total elements appeared 7,139(85.5%) kfrequencies in the basic level and 691(8.1%) frequencies in the further level. However total elements appeared 529(6.4%) frequencies in the supplementary level. The kinds and frequencies of the elements for the inquiry context suggested in the basic level were more than those in the supplementary and in the further level. The social context was not appeared in the supplementary level. However five inquiry context elements were all appeared in the basic and further level.

In ubiquitous environments, context is any information that can be used to characterize the situation of an entity such as a person or an object. Many sensors and small computers collect contexts and provide applications with them. Thus, ubiquitous applications need to represent contexts and exploit them effectively. In this paper, we design and implement a context-aware messaging system, called UMS (Ubiquitous Messaging System), based on Java and Jini. UMS can represent various contexts using XML scripts, and communicate text messages regardless of user's location using the proxy mechanism of Jini.

A modified watershed transform is proposed which is context-free marker-controlled and minima imposition-free to reduce the over-segmentation and to speedup the transform. In contrast to the conventional methods in which a priori knowledge, such as flat zones, zones of homogeneous texture, and morphological distance, is required for marker extraction, context-free marker extraction is proposed by using the attention operator based on the GST (generalized symmetry transform). By using the context-free marker, the proposed watershed transform exploit marker-constrained labeling to speedup the computation and to reduce the over-segmentation by eliminating the unnecessary geodesic reconstruction such as the minima imposition and thereby eliminating the necessity of the post-processing of region merging. The simulation results show that the proposed method can extract context-free markers inside the objects from the complex background that includes multiple objects and efficiently reduces over-segmentation and computation time.

검색 증강형 언어 모델은 입력과 연관된 문서들을 검색하고 텍스트 생성 과정에 통합하여 언어 모델의 생성 능력을 강화한다. 본 논문에서는 사전 학습된 대규모 언어 모델의 추가적인 학습 없이 In-Context 검색 증강으로 한국어 언어 모델의 생성 능력을 강화하고 기존 언어 모델 대비 성능이 증가함을 보인다. 특히 다양한 크기의 사전 학습된 언어 모델을 활용하여 검색 증강 결과를 보여 모든 규모의 사전 학습 모델에서 Perplexity가 크게 개선된 결과를 확인하였다. 또한 오픈 도메인 질의응답(Open-Domain Question Answering) 과업에서도 EM-19, F1-27.8 향상된 결과를 보여 In-Context 검색 증강형 언어 모델의 성능을 입증한다.
