Due to the successful accomplishments of the first-stage base center project, a road-map for the second-stage, global base center 2030 project has recently been proposed. The vision of the base center is to build a technology centered, cooperation based platform for a sustainable global community. The global base center 2030 project is based on three core strategies as well as three key strategies. The main goal of the core strategy is to establish an interdisciplinary smart platform, as well as a global tech-coordination facility to implement sustainable, inclusive, and innovative science and technology based ODA projects. To achieve such goals, the global center will focus on developing a global living lab, interdisciplinary smart linkage systems, and a global operating platform. The main goals for the key strategies are to solve issues at the base centers while establishing an international relationship through sustainable technology. To achieve such goals, key projects are centered in establishing a ICT package, and a global living lab based on smart interconnected system. With this, a global inter-connected business platform will also be established to support technical and operational issues.
Multi water-loop system is the efficient customer centered facilities of water supply by utilizing the multi water resources. Multi water-loop system is divided into various types. The system is classified potable and non-potable type. Mostly, the potable type utilizes surface water and ground water. However, the non-potable type utilize the multi water resources, such as rain water, sea water, reclaimed water, etc. Selective intake is possible when characteristics of region, physiographic condition and purpose of use are considered. For instance, downtown type, new-city type, agriculture type, island type are available. For development and application of these multi water-loop system, standardization is needed. For standardization, several methods are given; design principles, selection and composition method of multi water-loop system structure, BIM/GIS application method, safety inspection method. Consequently, a road map of design standardization method can be established. In this road map, there are three parts for the standardization of multi water-loop system. Three parts are the considerations, base material and ways of standardization. Design standardization become close when this road map followed by someone who plan the multi water-loop system. In this way, loop system's development is more efficient and economic. In hereafter research, each type's characteristic will be analysed and standardization methods can be established.
Follicular cystic ovary (FCO) is one of the most frequently diagnosed ovarian diseases and is a major cause of reproductive failure in mammalian species. However, the mechanism by which FCO is induced remains unclear. Genetic alterations which affect the functioning of many kinds of cells and/or tissues could be present in cystic ovaries. In this study, we performed a comparison analysis of gene expression in order to identify new molecules useful in discrimination of bovine FCO with follicular cystic follicles (FCFs). Normal follicles and FCFs were classified based on their sizes (5 to 10 mm and $\geq25mm$). These follicles had granulosa cell layer and theca interna and the hormone $17{\beta}$-estradiol ($E_2$)/ progesterone ($P_4$) ratio in follicles was greater than one. Perifollicular regions including follicles were used for the preparation of RNA or protein. Differentially expressed genes (DEG) that showed greater than a 2-fold change in expression were screened by the annealing control primer (ACP)-based PCR method using $GeneFishing^{TM}$ DEG kits in bovine normal follicles and FCFs. We identified two DEGs in the FCFs: ribosomal protein L15 (RPL15) and microtubule-associated protein 1B (MAP1B) based on BLAST searches of the NCBI GenBank. Consistent with the ACP analysis, semi-quantitative PCR data and Western blot analyses revealed an up-regulation of RPL15 and a down-regulation of MAP1B in FCFs. These results suggest that RPL15 and MAP1B may be involved in the regulation of pathological processes in bovine FCOs and may help to establish a bovine gene data-base for the discrimination of FCOs from normal ovaries.

The 3D spatial information projects have been processed and utilized in varied fields. However, the research of the 3D digital map for a role of national base map is not enough. The draft maps, which are raw data for generating 2D digital map, shows problems in generating 3D digital map. The objective of this research is to develop 3D digital map editing system for modifying and editing of 3D digital map from 2D vector and raster information such as a draft map, 2D digital map, DEM, aerial photo and so forth. This 3D digital map editing system was designed to include data structure of geometric and attribute object under provision of ISO/TC211 and OGC standard. This system was developed to implement the function of 3D stereo editing based on stereo viewing, 3D view editing based on projective, and 3D spatial operation. Using this system, 3D digital maps were able to be successfully produced from not only existing draft maps but also modified or edited draft maps and then application results were compared and analyzed.

A digital map of 1/5,000 scale provides basic information to be utilized in various businesses, such as in land management, urban information system of a local government, navigation of private sectors and others. 1/5,000 digital map, which contains information of the entire land of South Korea, is performed as a national fundamental map, however, comparing to 1,000 digital map, it has some difficulties in terms of positional accuracy and attribute data for applying in urban areas. Also, since the paradigm of spatial information services has been changed, more accurate positional information and rich attribute information are required for the government businesses and private map services. Particularly, demands for the high precision spatial information based on large-scale digital map is increasing in facility managements due to rapid changes in urban areas and various spatial analyses. For those reasons, this study proposes how to apply and use precise spatial information based on 1/1,000 digital. Firstly, an analysis of legal system related to large-scale digital map and spatial information is conducted in the research. Afterwards, the ways are suggested to improve systematical utilizations of 1/1,000 digital map. We also define existing applications of spatial information in public and private sector, and recommend methodology that can be utilized high precision spatial information.
Let G and H be compact connected Lie groups with biinvariant Riemannian metrics g and h respectively, ${\phi}$ a group isomorphism of G onto H, and $E:={\phi}^{-1}TH$ the induced bundle by $\phi$ over the base manifold G of the tangent bundle TH of H. Let ${\nabla}$ and $^H{\nabla}$ be the Levi-Civita connections for the metrics g and h respectively, $\tilde{\nabla}$ the induced connection by the map ${\phi}$ and $^H{\nabla}$. Then, a necessary and sufficient condition for $\tilde{\nabla}$ in the bundle (${\phi}^{-1}TH$, G, ${\pi}$) to be a Yang- Mills connection is the fact that the Levi-Civita connection ${\nabla}$ in the tangent bundle over (G, g) is a Yang- Mills connection. As an application, we get the following: Let ${\psi}$ be an automorphism of a compact connected semisimple Lie group G with the canonical metric g (the metric which is induced by the Killing form of the Lie algebra of G), ${\nabla}$ the Levi-Civita connection for g. Then, the induced connection $\tilde{\nabla}$, by ${\psi}$ and ${\nabla}$, is a Yang-Mills connection in the bundle (${\phi}^{-1}TH$, G, ${\pi}$) over the base manifold (G, g).

Integrated approach is presented by developing the technology and the ways of the practical use of the integrated digital map of and Electronical Navigational Chart (ENC) and Digital Terrain Map (DTM) for the effective and scientific based conservation, development and management of coastal area in this study. At first as preliminary studies to make eventual integrated maps, the necessity of the integrated map is described with the concept of coastal areas. Then, the characteristics of digital maps developed by Korean Geography Institute and National Marine Investigation Institute are carefully analyzed and integrated to a digital map as a test for edge matching in coastal line. Developed test coastal map was overlayed with a high-resolution satellite image (KVR-1000). The ground survey using Global Positioning System was conducted for the analysis of edge matching along the coastal line. Results from the edge matching analysis of coastal lines showed about 14 meters mean difference in artificial terrain and 4 meters mean difference in natural terrain. The problems, causes and solutions for the edge-matched differences are described. Furthermore, the value of utilization, the future use and various fields of application produced by the integrated digital map database are suggested as a basis for ICZM implementation in South Korea.
The modeling of noise mapping and the evaluation of noise pollution based on the exposed population were frequently used as an indicator of environmental noise assessment to overcome the limitations of field survey and Tele-Monitoring System. Results from these methods were highly influenced by the setting of noise source, input data of prediction factors and analytical methods of predictive values. The population exposed to noise were estimated as M1-1>M2-1>Base>M2-2>M1-2 in both areas. The highest noise setting methods(M1-1, M1-2) were overestimated, being compared with the Base method.

GPS allows a user with an appropriate receiver to obtain their position anywhere on the Earth's surface. The use of GPs has highlighted the shortcomings of national reference systems, and many countries are in the process of establishing new geodetic frameworks in order to overcome these shortcomings. Korea National Geography Institute has established a new geocentric datum and presented the its time frame for implementation. In this paper, I studied the considerable matters of digital mapping authority and users for converting the geodetic datum and coordinate system and suggested the steps of public relations for GIS users.
