We present the effect of a coupling agent on the optoelectrical properties of few-walled carbon nanotube (FWCNT)/epoxy resin hybrid films fabricated on glass substrates. The FWCNT/epoxy resin mixture solution was successfully prepared by the direct mixing of a $HNO_3$-treated FWCNT solution and epoxy resin. FWCNT/binder hybrid films containing different amounts of the coupling agent were then fabricated on UV-ozone-treated glass substrates. To determine the critical binder content ($X_c$), the effects of varying the binder content in the FWCNT/silane hybrid films on their optoelectrical properties were investigated. In this system, the $X_c$ value was approximately 75 wt%. It was found that above $X_c$, the coupling agent effectively decreased the sheet resistance of the films. From microscopy images, it was observed that by adding the coupling agent, more uniform FWCNT/binder films were formed.

Formation of aluminum hydroxide by a hydrolytic reaction of nano aluminum powder synthesized by a pulsed wire evaporation (PWE) method has been studied. The type and morphology of the hydroxides were investigated with various initial temperatures and pHs. The nano fibrous boehmite (AlOOH) was formed predominantly over $40^{\circ}C$ of the hydrolytic temperature in acid solution, while the bayerite $(Al(OH)_3)$ was formed predominantly below $30^{\circ}C$ in alkali solution with a faceted crystalline structure. As a result the boehmite showed a much larger specific surface area (SSA) than that of bayerite. The highest SSA of the boehmite was about $409\;m^2/g$.

The effect of ZnO on cellulose acetate in the removal of benzophenone-3 (BP-3) was investigated. The benzophenone-3 (BP-3) which is an endocrine disrupting chemical (EDC) was completely removed (100%) from the drinking water using Cellulose Acetate (CA) and zinc oxide (ZnO) composite membranes. The membranes were prepared by DIPS method and the filtration experiments were conducted by dead end filtration unit. The macrostructure of the membrane were studied by ATR-IR and XRD Spectra's. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to study the micro properties of the membranes. The laboratory experiments such as water uptake study and pure water flux performed to confirm the increasing hydrophilicity. The enhancing hydrophilicity was confirmed with respect to higher the concentration of nanoparticles. Evaluation of BP-3 removal was carried in different experimental conditions, such as, different Trans membrane pressure and different concentration of feed. The membrane with low pressure showed better performance by rejecting 100% of BP-3. However, 1 ppm, 3 ppm and 6 ppm of feed solution was used and among them 3 ppm of feed solution gives 100% rejection. The ZnO nanoparticales enhances the performance of CA membrane by showing maximum rejection.
Nano-structured polyaniline have been synthesized by interfacial polymerization method at room temperature. An aqueous solution of aniline in chloroform and another solution of ammonium peroxydisulfate in doping acid were prepared at different times terminated with methanol at room temperature. SEM, UV-vis were used to characterize the polyaniline with regard to their morphology and structure. The diameter and length of polyaniline can be controlled by the reaction time. Nano-structured polyaniline were found to have superior sensitivity for volatile organic compounds(VOCs). As the reaction time to increase from 30minute to 2hours the sensitivity were decreased to VOCs vapors. The sensitivity of Nano-structured polyaniline sensor appeared to VOCs better than the sensitivity of chemical synthesis sensors. The sensitivity of Nano-structured polyaniline sensor improved benzene vapors.
Silica nano-powder (SNP) is an inorganic material able to provide high-performance in various fields because of its multiple functions. Methods used to synthesize high purity SNP, include crushing silica minerals, vapor reaction of silica chloride, and a sol-gel process using TEOS and sodium silicate solution. The sol-gel process is the cheapest method for synthesis of SNP, and was used in this study. First, we investigated the shape and the size of the silica-powder particles in relation to the variation of HCl and sodium silicate concentrations. After drying, the shape of nano-silica powder differed in relation to variations in the HCl concentration. As the pH of the solution increased, so did the density of crosslinking. Initially, there was NaCl in the SNP. To increase its purity, we adopted a washing process that included centrifugation and filtration. After washing, the last of the NaCl was removed using DI water, leaving only amorphous silica powder. The purity of nano-silica powder synthesized using sodium silicate was over 99.6%.

The present paper is concerned with the study of nonlinear ultrasonic waves in a magneto thermo (MT) elastic armchair single-walled carbon nanotube (ASWCNT) resting on polymer matrix. The analytical formulation is developed based on Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory to account small scale effect. After developing the formal solution of the mathematical model consisting of partial differential equations, the frequency equations have been analyzed numerically by using the nonlinear foundations supported by Winkler-Pasternak model. The solution is obtained by ultrasonic wave dispersion relations. Parametric work is carried out to scrutinize the influence of the non local scaling, magneto-mechanical loadings, foundation parameters, various boundary condition and length on the dimensionless frequency of nanotube. It is noticed that the boundary conditions, nonlocal parameter, and tube geometrical parameters have significant effects on dimensionless frequency of nano tubes. The results presented in this study can provide mechanism for the study and design of the nano devices like component of nano oscillators, micro wave absorbing, nano-electron technology and nano-electro- magneto-mechanical systems (NEMMS) that make use of the wave propagation properties of armchair single-walled carbon nanotubes embedded on polymer matrix.

Mica (muscovite) powders were synthesized by hydrothermal method (horizontal turning method). The hydrothermal conditions for the synthesis of mica were prepared by the ratio of $K_2O : Al(OH)_3 : SiO_2$ = 1 : 3 : 3 mol% as the starting materials with KOH (8 mol%) solution as the hydrothermal solvent and reaction temperature at $260^{\circ}C$ for 72hrs. The synthetic powder used for preparation of nano silver coated mica by vertical hydrothermal treatment. The hydrothermal conditions for the treated as nano silver coating were prepared by the synthetic powder as raw materials, triple distilled water ($0.5{\ell}$) solution as the hydrothermal solvent with nano silver sol (1,000 ppm) as the material of nano silver coating and reaction temperature at $160{\sim}260^{\circ}C$ for 72 hrs. After hydrothermal treatment, structural, judgment of nano silver coating and character of nano silver coated mica were examined by XRD, SEM, TEM-EDX and shake plask method.
Adsorption and heterogeneous electro-Fenton process using iron-loaded ZSM-5 nano-zeolite were investigated for the removal of Tetracycline (TC) from wastewater. The nano-zeolite was synthesized hydrothermally and modified through impregnation. The zeolite was characterized by XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, and NH3-TPD techniques. The equilibrium data were best represented by the Freundlich isotherm. The pseudo-second-order kinetic model was the most accurate model for the adsorption of TC on the modified nano-zeolite. The effect of parameters such as pH of solution and current density were investigated for the heterogeneous electro-Fenton process. The results showed that the current density of 150 mA and pH of 3 led to the highest TC removal (90.35%) at 50 min. The nano-zeolite showed the appropriate reusability. Furthermore, the developed kinetic model was in good agreement with the removal data of TC through the electro-Fenton process.

This study describes a new mastless nano-fabrication technique of Pyrex 7740 glass using the combination of nanomachining by nano-indenter XP and HF wet etching. First, the surface of a Pyrex 7740 glass specimen was machined by using the nano-machining system, which utilizes the mechanism of the nano-indenter XP. Next, the specimen was etched by HF solution. After the etching process, the convex structure or deeper hole is made because of masking or promotion effect of the affected layer generated by nano-machining. On the basis of this interesting fact. some sample structures were fabricated.
This study compared tooth's remineralization using enamel surface artificially demineralized with 0.1M lactate and HCL solution using Vicker's Hardness Number(VHN) to compare CPP-ACP and remineralization of nano-sized Carbonate Apatite's initial caries. Using pH circulation models divided into 0% nano-CA, 5% nano-CA, 10% nano-CA, 10% CPP-ACP and D.W. they were treated for 5 minutes, three times a day for 14 days to get the following results. 1. There were no significant differences among the initial surface hardness of samples demineralized surface of front tooth in 5 groups. and all 5 groups' surface hardness reduced significantly after demineralization of enamel. 2. When inquiring into hardness changes through pH circulation model, the highest hardness change was in 5% nano-CA group. Also. 10% nano-CA and 10% CPP-ACP groups increased significantly. but there was no significant difference statistically. In generalizing the above experiment results, nano-sized Carbonate Apatite showed remineralization, and compared to 10% CPP-ACP group, 5% nano-CA had remineralization to artificial caries. thus implies that when we develop method to contact with tooth of nano-CA in the future, it is expected to gain synergy effect on function of saliva, a natural remineralization material.
