Anterior glottic webs shorten the free margins of the vocal cords and prevent air flow at their locations, thereby changing the potential vibratory characteristics of the vocal system. They are now more often iatrogenic from endolaryngeal surgical procedures, complications of intubation, chronic inflammation or due to penetrating and blunt trauma to the larynx. A wide range of treatment procedures are now available but the solution to acquiring a "normal" voice has remained elusive due to reflectory stenosis and scar formation. We present our recent experiences with glottic web in nine cases using KTP-532 laser vaporization and endolaryngeal silastic keel insertion technique. Postoperative speech assessment in our cases showed significant improvement in voice quality of 7 of 9 cases studied(77.8%), and no specific problems were not seen.

The mixing vane effect on the Critical Heat Flux (CHF) is discussed with focus on the vortex now effect. In the subchannel approach, this effect is not quantified by the calculation model, but directly taken into account by the CHF correlation itself through data analysis. The vortex now effect is identified the two Westinghouse correlations, and then the CHF margin issue given rise to by the Vantage-5H design change is evaluated and discussed. It is noted that deficiency about CHF dependency on the vortex flow effect could induce an error in the Departure from Nucleate Boiling Ratio (DNBR) sensitivity Calculation.

Traditionally, companies have been concerned with making an investment decision either to go now or never to go forever. However, owing to the development of the theory of options pricing in a financial investment field and its introduction to the appraisal of real investments in these days, we are now partially allowed to derive the value of a managerial flexibility of real investment projects. In this paper, we derived a general mathematical model to price the option value of real investment projects assuming that they have only one-period of time under which uncertainty exists. This mathematical model was developed based on the opportunity cost concept. We will show a simple numerical example to illustrate how the mathematical model works comparing it with the existing models.

Successful correction of the partial form of atrioventricular[AV] canal is now readily achievable. The most challenging technical features of this anomaly are the associated mitral valvular deformity and the frequent inability to obtain mitral competence. Residual mitral incompetence after repair of mitral cleft figures importantly in the causes of early and late failure. So, accurate and complete repair of the mitral valve cleft might be important. Determination of residual severe mitral regurgitation after repair is desirable to permit mitral valve replacement at the time. We have experienced one case of severe mitral regurgitation which was occurred 6 months after repair of partial form of A-V canal [ASD primum] in 22 years old virgin. Pre-op. left ventriculogram revealed severe mitral regurgitation in this patient. We preferred to perform mitral valve replacement with St. Jude valve in this patient at March 1984. Post-op. course was uneventful to now for 5 months and we report this case, review and discuss the literatures.

Indium tin oxide (ITO) films were deposited on glass substrates at $300^{\circ}C$ in oxygen/argon mixtures by RF-enhanced DC-magnetron sputtering and were compared to those by conventional DC magnetron sputtering. The RF enhancement was performed using a coil above an ITO target. X-ray diffraction measurements revealed that RF-enhanced plasma affected the preferred orientation and the crystallinity of the films. The resistivity of the films prepared by RF-enhanced DC-magnetron sputtering was almost constant at oxygen content lower than 0.3% and then increased sharply with increasing oxygen content. However the resistivity of the films by conventional sputtering has little dependence on the oxygen content. Those results can be explained on the basis of the incorporation of oxygen into the ITO films due to the RF enhancement.

Many of legislations related to tourism has been made up to now since the year 1961 when modern tourism studies started. In restropect of the year 1988, the year 2002 is expected to be another chance for tourism. In order to take this chance again, new laws and regulations are necessary. Therefore, the object of this study are decided as follows: 1) to put 'the right to go sightseeing' in statutory form at constitution. 2) to realise the private law of tourism 3) to make the environment law of tourism 4) to make the facility law of tourism 5) to make the transportation law of tourism 6) to make the cultural property law of tourism 7) to make the food law of tourism 8) to make the related law of tourism 9) to make the advertising law of tourism, the tax law of tourism, and the economy law of tourism As tourism laws like above exist, tourism industry would be developed more than now.

There are many new technologies for EMU to secure the facilities' safety/validity and maintenance/economical efficiency and technologic competitiveness. For example, now the EMU is using the blending brake technology with electric brake and pneumatic brake and carrying the various performances such as jerk limitation, variable load and blending brake to stop the motor car safely and efficiently. The blending brake takes important parts in braking the cars and It is used in many fields of urban transit. There were many limitations to carry the performances and certificate whether the performances are acceptable in the system or not, because at that time they didn't take the whole prelieminarly inspection. Now we start applying such new methods, taking the whole inspection prior to the installation by analyzing systems requirements and introducing various system engineering design tools. In this paper, we suggest how to reduce the errors by prelieminarly inspection for the brake facilities using the tools and inspect the needs to analyze the brake facilities' performances.

In Korea small - medium companies constitute 96.6% of all of the mining and manufacturing industries, about 35.2% of the total production of value added business, an average of 35% of the actual export of industrial goods，and 47.7% of employment at the end of 1979. Now then small - medium industry companies organization style constitutes 82.1% of private companies and 82.7% of the total on an small scale under 50 persons in regular empolyees. Small - medium industry Companies have growing problems and bottle-necks in their physical conditions. Total Quality Control is contributed by small - medium industry company for more growth than present conditions. But now, Small - medium industry company do not use systematic application of Quality Control Method, the small - medium business compay products quality is not better as compared with big business Company. Specially, TQC is needed for Small - medium company for imperishable enlargement.

Most organizations adopt a process-based approach to manage their operations and now business process management(BPM) is a well-established concept. Because ISO 9001:2000 emphasizes process based, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information has taken ISO 9001:2000 certificate in November 11, 2003 and now implements quality management systems based on BPMS further applies Hypertext. We call it Online KQMS (KISTI Quality Management System). And Online KQMS is implemented under a platform independent framework based on the web environment. Online KQMS based on BPMS and Hypertext is a new example in field of ISO quality management and is expected to support process management well.

We are, now in the 21st century, that environmental preservation and the campaign for bio-diversity protection are very important issues the government must deal with as nation's main policy. To make road and building construction, housing land service, construction of golf fields, and various development works, we have made artificial topographical alterations and as a result, the cut-slop has been increased. However, without the proper study and clear planning, revegetation for the stability of the cut-slop has worked out. These efforts now are causing derangement of an ecosystem and spoiling the nature without considering for ecological adaptation. Therefore, we are going to find out the Revegetation Method to Cut-Slopes considering both the ecological adaptation and harmony with the nature.
