If an arrangement admits a nice partition, or an arrangement is free, then the characteristic polynomial of the arrangement can be factored. It is known that a free arrangement does not always admit a nice partition. We show that even an inductively free arrangement does not always admit a nice partition.

The epidermal differentiation complex (EDC) contains a large number of gene products which are crucial for the maturation of the human epidermis and can contribute to skin diseases, even carcinogenesis. It is generally accepted that activation of oncogenes and/or inactivation of tumor suppressor genes play pivotal roles in the process of carcinogenesis. Here, NICE-3, a novel EDC gene, was found to be up-regulated in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by quantitative real-time RT-PCR. Furthermore, overexpression of exogenous NICE-3 by recombinant plasmids could significantly promote cell proliferation, colony formation and soft agar colony formation in Focus and WRL-68 HCC cell lines. Reversely, NICE-3 silencing by RNA interference could markedly inhibit these malignant phenotypes in YY-8103 and MHCC-97H cells. Moreover, cell cycle analysis of MHCC-97H transfected with siRNA by flow cytometry showed that NICE-3 knockdown may inhibit cell growth via arrest in G0/G1 phase and hindering entry of cells into S phase. All data of our findings indicate that NICE-3 may contribute to human hepatocellular carcinoma by promoting cell proliferation.

This paper is a general review contextualizing the state of the domestic health technology assessment. The aim of the paper is to present an overview of health technology assessment in Korea based on examining clinical efficacy as well as cost-benefit analysis, and to suggest the issue of appraisal based on social value. We have included a discussion of a major case study of the technology appraisal process of NICE (the National Institute for Clinical Excellence) in the UK. The review of the existing process of NICE shows that the appraisal both gives interest in health technology a sense of value perspective and raises methodological issues in terms of reliability. Details of the appraisal process and several guidelines for best practice have emerged. Suggestions are listed and their role in assessing is explained as a conclusion.

미국의 사이버보안 인력양성 정책은 2010년 시작된 NICE를 중심으로 포괄적이고 체계적으로 추진되고 있다. 기존 과학 기술 공학 수학(STEM) 전문인력 양성 정책의 일환인 국가과학재단(NSF)의 첨단기술교육(ATE) 8개 분야 중 하나인 보안기술(Security Technologies)에서 사이버보안 인력양성 프로그램을 운영 중이다. 이 보안기술 분야는 NICE와 연계하여 추진되고 있으며, 5종의 세부 프로그램으로 구성된다. 본 논문은 ATE에서 지원하는 사이버보안 인력양성 프로그램 5종에 대해 세부적으로 살펴보고, 이 프로그램들과 유사한 우리나라의 정부지원 프로그램을 상호 비교하여 개선점을 도출한 후, 국가차원의 신규 사이버보안 인력양성에 대한 추진 방향을 제안한다. 이때 적용된 방법론을 체계적으로 정리한 사이버보안 인력양성 정책 평가 프레임워크를 새로운 인력양성 정책 수립시 적용할 수 있도록 제안한다.

중국 애니메이션 영화 는 중국의 빠른 산업화와 경제발전에 따라 도시 빈민층의 사회적 소외와 뒤틀린 욕망을 묘사하였다. 세계 최대 경제국가로 성장한 중국은 그 이면에 많은 사회적 문제가 야기 되고 있으며, 본 영화는 이러한 사회현상을 은유와 비유를 통해 표현하였고, 영화를 통해 사회적 비판과 여론의 장으로 끌어내었다. 를 대상으로 한 본 논문은 문헌 연구와 사례 연구를 통해 에서 재현된 사회적 비판에 대한 분석을 시도한다. 이를 통해 중국의 사실주의 애니메이션의 특성을 도출한다.

Using a matrix method, pp. Antosik and C. Swartz have obtained a series of nice properties of bounded multiplier convergent (BMC) series on metric linear spaces ([1],[8],[9]). In this paper, we establish a basic property of BMC series on topological vector spaces which is a generalization of a result due to J. Batt([2], Th.2). From this, we have obtained a kind of inclusion theorem of operator spaces. This theorem yields a nice result on infinite systems of linear equations.
