Programmable metalization cell (PMC) memory 소자로도 명명되는 고체 전해질 메모리 소자는 비휘발성, 고속 및 높은 ON/OFF 저항비 등을 갖고 있기 때문에, 차세대 비휘발성 메모리로서 각광받고 있는 소자 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 고체 전해질 메모리 소자의 동작 원리를 먼저 소개하고자 한다. 또한, 메모리향 소자 개발을 진행 중인 미국 코지키 교수 그룹, 비메모리향 소자 개발을 진행 중인 일본 NEC 그룹 등의 해외 연구진과, Te 계열의 칼코게나이드 합금을 채택하여 소자를 제작한 한국전자통신연구원 및 충남대학교 등의 국내 연구진의 연구 성과를 소개하고자 한다.

Liver transplantation is recommended for patients with liver failure, but liver donors are limited. This necessitates the development of artificial livers, and hepatocytes are necessary to develop such artificial livers. Although induced hepatocyte-like cells are used in artificial livers, the characteristics of mouse induced hepatocyte-like cells (miHeps) reprogrammed with embryonic fibroblasts have not yet been clarified. Therefore, this study investigated the mechanisms underlying the survival, function, and death of miHeps. miHeps showed decreased cell viability, increased cytotoxicity, decreased hepatic function, and albumin and urea secretion at passage 14. Addition of necrostatin-1 (NEC-1) to miHeps inhibited necrosome formation and reactive oxygen species generation and increased cell survival. However, NEC-1 did not affect the hepatic function of miHeps. These results provide a basis for development of artificial livers using hepatocytes.

본 논문에서는 5.5GHz 대역 LNA와 1${\times}$2마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나로 구성된 무선랜용 능동안테나를 설계 하였다. LNA는 NEC사의 NE3210S01을 사용하여 잡음 특성을 개선하였으며, 마이크로 스트립 패치안테나는 전방향 특성을 갖도록 설계하였다. 설계된 1${\times}$2마이크로 스트립 패치안테나는 약8.3dBi의 이득을 가지면서 전방향 특성을 나타내었고, LNA는 이득이15dB, 잡음지수는 1dB이하의 특성을 보였다.

"KAGUYA"(SELENE) is a Japanese Lunar Explorer launched by H-IIA rocket from Tanegashima Space Center on 14 September 2007. The dual-mode bipropellant propulsion subsystem of KAGUYA includes two fuel tanks, an oxidizer tank, propellant and pressurant control components, twelve monopropellant 20N thrusters, eight monopropellant 1N thrusters, and a bipropellant 500N Orbit Maneuver Engine(OME). Once the KAGUYA separated from the rocket, it circled the Earth twice and traveled to the Moon, where it entered lunar orbit. All maneuvers were performed through multiple 500N OME/20N thruster firings. This paper describes the in-space performance of KAGUYA Lunar Explorer bipropellant propulsion subsystem.

목 적 : ELBWI의 생존률의 괄목할 만한 향상과 더불어 괴사성 장염으로 수술 받는 건수가 증가하고 있다. ELBWI 사망의 중요한 원인인 괴사성 장염으로 수술한 1,000 g 미만 환아의 예후인자에 대해 확인해 보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 2001년부터 2008년까지 삼성서울병원 신생아 집중치료실에서 괴사성 장염으로 수술 받은 1,000 g 미만 환아 35명을 대상으로 개복술 후 생존군(n=28명)과 사망군(n=7명)의 임상적 특성 및 수술관련 인자들을 후향적으로 조사하였다. 결 과 : ELBWI 출생 환아 408명 중 35명(생존군 28명, 사망군 7명)이 괴사성 장염으로 개복술을 받았고 20%의 환아가 사망하였다. 수술 전 SNAP-II 점수($8{\pm}10$점 vs. $20{\pm}17$점; P = 0.022), 흡입산소농도($0.3{\pm}0.1$ vs. $0.7{\pm}0.4L/min$ ; P <0.001)는 생존군에서 사망군에 비해 유의하게 낮았고, 염기과잉은($-3{\pm}7$ vs. $-11{\pm}8$; P =0.004) 사망군에서 유의하게 낮았다. 수술 전과 후의 맥박수, 호흡수, 평균혈압 등 활력지수와 혈액가스 검사상 수소이온농도지수, 이산화탄소 농도, 칼륨은 두 군간 유의한 차이가 없었다. 수술 중 수액 투여량($14{\pm}4$ vs. $11{\pm}4mL/kg/hr$; P =0.045)이 생존군에서 유의하게 높았으나 수술 후 수액 투여량($184{\pm}36$ vs. $266{\pm}173mL/kg/day$; P =0.022)은 사망군에서 유의하게 높았다. 결 론 : 괴사성 장염으로 수술 받은 ELBWI를 대상으로 생존군과 사망군을 비교해보았을 때 양호한 예후인자로 수술 전 안정된 전신상태, 수술 중 충분한 수액의 투여, 그리고 수술 후 안정된 혈역학적 상태가 관련이 있었다.

In this paper, we propose a 4-step inference method needed for constructing a natural language communication system. The method is used to obtain fuzzy quantifier Q′when QA is Fisr τ⇔ Q′(m′A) is mF is m"is τ is inferred (Q, Q′: quantifiers, A: fuzzy subject, m′, m": modifiers, y: fuzzy predicate, τ: truth qualifier). We show that Q′is resolved step by step for two types of Q, including a non-increasing type (few,...) and a non-decreasing type(most,...).

For given discrete derivative data in a rectangular re-gion we propose a method to generate an approximated surface which fits the given derivative data in the region and extends smoothly to a sufficiently large rectangular region. Such an extension in nec-essary in the generation of the surface in NC(numerical control) ma-chine.

In this paper, the implementation of the real time LPC synthesizer using NEC 77p20, the DSP (Digital Signal Processor) chip which facilitates and simplifies the digital hardware, is considered. This method shows the good quality with the low bit rate below 9.6kbps and has the advantage of the flexibility and the simplicity.

Development of an automobile antenna printed on-glass for FM radio receptions was discussed in this study. NEC-2 code was used as the design tool in this research. An omnidirectional radiation pattern and reception power level of the newly designed antenna were compared with those of the conventional pole antenna for the evaluation of its performance. The test sites for the reception power level measurement were chosen by their signal enbironmental condition, such as multipath fading, and strong field effect area.

The method for evaluating AF's quality and calculating of AF checking time is proposed in this paper. For the purpose, the fuzzy control method is used. To show the effectiveness, the technique is implemented and the performance is verified on a NEC's 16 bit-general purpose micro-controller. The result shows that although the number of AF checking times is reduced, the receiver can find the best frequency faster.
