US NEC와 CEC 사이의 양국 관계위원회는 몇년간 지속되고 있다. 이 위원회는 1994년 1월의 CANENA와 연계하여 멕시코의 참가를 촉진시키기 위하여 개최되었다. 멕시코 참석자들이 표명한 관심의 결과로 동 위원회는 북 아메리카 전기설비 코드에 관한 관계 위원회의 이름을 바꾸고 그 위원회에 멕시코 대표를 포함시켜서 확대하자는 것을 투표하였다.

본 고에서는 일본의 국제 표준화 활동의 동향을 살펴보고 우리나라에의 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 우선 일본의 기본적 표준화 정책방향을 검토한 후, NTT와 KDD 등 통신사업자와 NEC 등 통신제조업자의 국제 표준화 전략을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 우리나라 표준화 정책의 시사점을 기술하였다.

This study compared the effect of Korean vegetarian and omnivorous diets on plasma carnitine concentrations and urinary carnitine excretion. Twenty lactoovovegetarian and twenty omnivorous female college students consented to participate in this study. Daily nutritional intake and plasma and urinary nonesterified carnitine (NEC), acid-soluble acylcarnitine (ASAC), acid-insoluble acylcarnitine (AIAC), and total carnitine (TCNE) were determined. Daily protein, fat, retinol, vitamin B$_2$and vitamin B$\_$12/ intakes were significantly lower for vegetarians, however, fiber, carbohydrate, $\beta$-carotene, folic acid and vitamin C consumptions were much higher for vegetarians than omnivores. There were no differences in plasma NEC, ASAC, AIAC and TCNE concentrations between the two groups. Urinary carnitine excretion was lower in vegetarians, but only the differences in ASAC and TCNE excretions were statistically significant. These results suggest that the lower excretion of ASAC in vegetarians may be a reflection of their lipid metabolic state and that Korean vegetarian diets may accommodate lower carnitine intakes through efficient urinary conservation of carnitine.

One of major purposes of these standard technologies is to ensure interoperability between entities from different vendors and enable interworking between various technologies. As interoperability and interworking are essential for machine-to-machine communications (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) for them to achieve their ultimate goal, i.e., things to be connected each other, multiple standards organizations are now working on development M2M/IoT related specifications. This paper reviews the current activities of some of the most relevant standardization bodies in the area of M2M and IoT: third-generation partnership project (3GPP) core and radio network aspects, broadband forum, and oneM2M. The major features and issues being focused upon in these standards bodies are summarized. Finally, some key common trends among the different bodies are identified: a common service layer platform, new technologies mitigating an explosive growth of network traffic, and considerations and efforts related to the development of device management technologies.

본 논문에서는 5.5GHz 대역 LNA와 $1{\times}2$마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나로 구성 된 무선 랜용 능동안테나를 설계 및 제작하였다. LNA는 NEC사의 NE3210S01을 사용하여 잡음 특성을 개선하였으며, 마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나는 전방향 특성을 갖도록 설계하였으며, 설계된 $1{\times}2$마이크로 스트립 패치 안테나는 약8.3dBi의 이득을 가지면서 입력 반사손실이 -32[dB], 전압정재파비가 1.132를 나타내었고, LNA는 이득이 15dB, 입출력 반사손실이 -20[dB]의 특성을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 NEC 코드와 Pareto 유전자 알고리즘 최적화 기법을 이용하여 초소형 유도결합 안테나를 설계하였다. 최적화된 유도결합 안테나 중 몇 가지 표본을 제작하고 성능을 측정하였다. 일반적으로 안테나의 크기가 작아질수록 입력 저항, 대역폭 및 효율이 감소하는데 비하여 제안된 방법으로 설계된 유도결합 안테나는 다른 부가적인 정합회로 없이 우수한 성능을 보인다. 간단한 회로 모델을 도입하여 제안된 유도결합 안테나의 동작원리를 설명하였고, Duroid 기판 위에 평면 구조로 제작하여 RFID 태그 안테나로써 성능을 입증하였다.

this paper presents the concept of "mobile ATM', a proposal for third-generation (3G) mobile communication network infrastructure capable of supporting flexible evolution of radio technologies from today's cellular and data services towards future wireless multimedia services. Mobile ATM provides generic mobility management and QoS-based transport capabilities suitable for integration of multiple radio access technologies including cellular voice. wireless data, and future broadband wireless services. The architecture of a mobile ATM network is outlined in terms of the newly-defined "W-UNI" interface at the radio link and "M-UNI"and "M-UNI" interface which supports unified access for WATM and non-ATM mobile terminals through corresponding interworking functions (IWF) is explained. leading to an understanding of how different radio access technologies are supported by the same ATM-based core network infrastructure. Generic mechanisms for handoff and location management within the core mobile network are discussed. and related protocol extensions over the "W-UNI" and "M-UNI/NNI"interfaces are proposed. the issue of "crossover switch (COS)" selection in mobile ATM is considered, and a unified handoff signaling syntax which supports flexibility in COS selection is described. Typical signaling sequences for call connection and handoff using the proposed protocols are outlined. Experimental results form a proof-of-concept mobile ATM network prototype are presented in conclusion.

본 연구에서는 널리 사용되고 있는 16비트 마이크로 컴퓨터에서 FFT와 같은 디지털 신호처리를 하기 위해 전용연산장치를 구성하여 NEC PC-9801 E에 연결하였다. 특히 FFT 연산은 승산 및 가감산의 2점 DFT로 구성되어 있고 이것이 반복연산된다. 그리고 마이크로 컴퓨터에서 승산은 많은 시간이 소요되므로 외부에 고속 승산기를 이용한 전용연산장치로 연산하므로 연산속도를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 설계 제작한 전용연산장치를 이용하여 FFT를 실행한 시간은 보조 프로세서 (Intel C 8087-3)로 실행한 것 보다 약 4.8배 빠르게 나타났다. 따라서 마이크로 컴퓨터에 FFT을 위한 전용연산장치를 구성하여 연결하므로서 연산속도가 크게 향상되어 디지털 신호처리에 많이 이용될 수 있을 것이다.
