Hangout programming language, written in Hangout and having syntax of Korean, can enhance readability very much for its naturalness, and is suited for Hangout data processing. But there exist several problems in implementing it due to the peculiarities of Korean such as verb position, variation of termination. This paper proposes a solution for implementing Hangeul high level language and introduces a Hangout programming language HANSFOR (Hangout Structured Fortran), implemented according to the proposed method. HANSFOR satisfies such requirements of Hangout high level language as mentioned above and can handle Korean and Chinese character data efficiently. Especially, though it is based on Fortran, it is free-formatted and provides structured programming concept to compensate for defects of original Fortran. It is successfully implemented on NEC S/100.

AiPi technology incorporates an embedded clock and control scheme with a point-to-point bus topology, achieving the smallest possible number of interface lines between a timing controller and source drivers. A 46" AiPi-based 10-bit FHD prototype requires only 20 interface lines, compared to 38 lines for mini-LVDS. The measured maximum data rate per one data pair is more than 800Mbps.

Hardware implementation of a 32-channel MFC digital receiver has not been easy and simple, because it requires real time processing of PCM data. In this paper, we introduce a method of designing an MFC digital receiver compactly by the channel distribution method. We have implemented the MFC digital receiver to process many cnannels by distributing channels of the TDM input data directly to the commercial digital signal processor chips(NEC uPD7720), and by carrying out the modified Goertzel Algorithm. The design of low cost, reliable, high speed, and compact MFC receiver will be shown.

In order to know what sorts of features of neck fore may be required to make plans for tight fitting collars the neck form of young japanese women were measured three deme-nsionally using. GRASP(Grating projection System for Profiling) and plaster torso. The following results were obtained: 1. We could be known the features of neck form for tight fitting collars by using both plaster torso method and GRASP method. 2. By the BASIC language in NEC computer and EXCEL package program in macin-TOSHI computer it became possible to draft a numble of neck surface automatically there-fore we got analysis of a mass of subjects.

For a video data terminal (VDT) operator, visual strain was caused by continuous VDT operations was found id be recovered by watching the picture of virtual far point with the background of the complementary color when the treatment to recover from visual strain was carried out. When the VDT operator watches the picture of virtual far point with the condition of the complementary color stimuli on the CRT display in 60 or 120 minutes after the start of the VDT operation, the visual strain is recovered and the VDT operator is kept healthy.

In this paper, a study on the reflector type frequency doubler, to suppress the undesired harmonics, is presented. A 12 to 24 GHz reflective frequency doubler is simulated and experimented. Design procedure of the frequency doubler with reflector is provided and the frequency doubler with good spectral purity is fabricated successfully. It has harmonic suppression of the $40{\sim}50\;dBc$ in the $1^{st}$ harmonic and the $50{\sim}60\;dB$ in the $3^{rd}$ harmonic with no additional filter. And, it has conversion gain with the input power of 0 dBm over bandwidth of 500 MHz. A NEC's ne71300(N) GaAs FET is used and the nonlinear model(EEFET3) using IC-CAP program is extracted for harmonic load pull simulation. Good agreement between simulated and measured results has been achieved.

The mesoscale eddy field in the North Pacific Ocean, simulated by a high resolution eddy-resolving OGCM ($1/12^{\circ}C$ horizontal resolution), was analyzed, and compared with satellite altimetry data of TOPEX/Poseidon. High levels of eddy kinetic energy (EKE) appear near the Kurosho, North Equatorial Current (NEC), and Subtropical Countercurrent (STCC) in the western part of the subropical gyre. In particlure, it was found that the EKE level of the STCC has a well-defined annual cycle, but no distinct annual cycle of the EKE exists in any other zonal current of the North Pacific Ocean.

The error rate performance of the proposed $\pi$/4-differential quadructure phase shift keying( $\pi$/4-DQPSK) with nonredundant multiple error correction is analyzed for Nakagami fading channel. The scheme for differential detection of $\pi$/4-QPSK with nonredundant multiple error correction utilizes the output that employ the received signal delayed by more than two time slots. It was observed that the performance increased as the error correction capability increased.

Environmental risk assessment of cadmium compounds was conducted using national monitoring data of aquatic and terrestrial compartments of local area. Aquatic and terrestrial toxicities of cadmium compounds on algae, daphnid, fish, earthworm, springtails and other species were evaluated. The toxicity data evaluated in this study were mainly from ECOTOX database provided by US EPA. Assessment factors were determined according to the EU technical guidance document and/or OECD proposal. Predicted no effect concentration (PNEC) values of aquatic and terrestrial toxicity were 25$\mu\textrm{g}$/L and 0.2 mg/kg, respectively and they were compared with cadmium exposure data of several local areas, which were used as Predicted exposure concentration(PEC) values. Most of the local area were found to be not risky. However, the risk values (PEC/NEC) of some metropolitan areas were greater than 1 when the most conservative PNEC value was applied.

A new configuration of LCD projectors for polarized stereoscopic projection having no light loss in the polarization process is suggested. In the proposed system, two polarizing filters that are employed in the conventional LCD polarized stereoscopic projection system causing additional light loss and image distortion are excluded by taking into account of polarization property of the LCD projector and image processing techniques. From some experimental results by using the Type-1 LCD projectors of NEC MT 1060R, light loss of the proposed system occurring in the polarization process is found to be zero and the resultant stereoscopic video image projected from this system is also found to be 213%, 75% and 300% brighter than those projected from the conventional Type-1 LCD projector-based, Type-2 LCD projector-based and Type-3 projector-based systems, respectively.
