  • In this paper, we will consider the notions of (m, n)-potent conditions in near-rings, in particular, a near-ring R with left bipotent or right bipotent condition. We will derive some properties of near-rings with (1, n) and (n, 1)-potent conditions where n is a positive integer, and then some properties of near-rings with (m, n)-potent conditions. Also, we may discuss the behavior of R-subgroups in (1, n)-potent or (n, 1)-potent near-rings..

  • In this paper, we begin with some basic concepts of substructures of near-rings, and then using some right substructures of near-rings, we may define the right semidirect sum of near-rings. Next, we investigate that every near-ring can be decomposed with right semidirect sum of right ideal by right R-subgroup, and then give some examples.

  • With a large format near-infrared camera at the 2.2-m telescope on Mauna Kea Observatory, we performed J K near-infrared observations for the metal rich globular cluster NGC6712. This cluster lies near the galactic plane and therefore suffers heavy reddening. We present the near-infrared color-magnitude diagram and also derive the metallicity ([Fe/H] ${\~}-0.96{\pm}0.27$) as well as its distance modulus ((m - M) ${\~}13.42{\pm}0.12$).

  • In this paper, we begin with to introduce the concepts of IFP and strong IFP in near-rings and then give some characterizations of IFP in near-rings. Next we derive reversible IFP, and then equivalences of the concepts of strong IFP and strong reversibility. Finally, we obtain some conditions to become strong IFP in right permutable near-rings and strongly reversible near-rings.

  • Throughout this paper, we denote that R is a near-ring and G an R-group. We initiate the study of R-substructures of G, representations of R on G, monogenic R-groups, faithful R-groups and faithful D.G. representations of near-rings. Next, we investigate some properties of monogenic near-ring groups, faithful monogenic near-ring groups, monogenic and faithful D.G. representations in near-rings.

  • Near field ground motions contain distinct, large amplitude pulses in both velocity and displacement. This paper presents an investigation on the characteristics of near filed earthquakes and their effects on seismic demands. For this purpose 20 sets of near field ground motion and 20 sets of far filed ground motion are compared with respect to Linear Elastic Response Spectrum(LERS), Response Modification Factor(R), Inelastic Response Spectrum(IRS), and performance point of Capacity Spectum Method(CSM).

Bipolar fuzzy ideals of Near Rings

  • Based on the theory of a bipolar fuzzy set, the notion of a bipolar fuzzy subring/ideal of a Near ring is introduced and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of a bipolar fuzzy subnear ring and a bipolar fuzzy ideal in near ring are established. Relations between a bipolar fuzzy ideal and a level cut are discussed. Using bipolar fuzzy ideals, we discuss characterizations of Noetherian Near ring.

  • Near-field ground motions exhibit special characteristics that are different from ordinary far-field ground motions. This paper first briefly examines the characteristics of near-field ground motions associated with fault directivity and fling-step effects. Then evaluation of near-field ground motions by inelatstic response spectrum analysis is performed and analyzed. As a result, ductility demand in near-field ground motions is larger in hanging wall than in foot wall in long period regions. Also in long period regions ductility demand in soil site is larger than that in rock site.
