  • In this paper, we introduce the supermicro computer- based nonreal-time BTR type DNC system, which can provide valuable datas for production and management by monitoring the operation of NC equipments. (upto 48 NC machine) In accordance with manual job schedulinq, part program is combined with tool presetting datas and enables rapid downloading and uploading. An application to the production system of die & Mold plant is presented.

5축 가공용 Post-Processor 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on the Development of Post-Processor for 5-Axis NC Machining)

  • This study deals with the method of post-processing in the automatic tool path generation for 5-axis NC machining. The 5-axis NC machining cannot only cope with the manufacturing of complicated shapes, but also offers numerous advantages such as reasonable tool employment, great reduction of set-up process and so on. Thus 5-axis NC machining has been used for aircraft parts, mold and die as well as for complicated shapes such as impeller, propeller and rotor. However, most of the present CAM systems for 5-axis NC machining have limited functions in terms of tool collision, machine limits and post-processing. Especially 5-axis machine configurations are various according to the method which the rotational axes are adapted with the table and spindle. For that reason, In many cases the optimal numerical control (NC) data cannot be obtained or considerable time is consumed. To solve this problem, we applied a general post-processor for 5-axis NC machining. The validity of this post-processor should be experimentally confirmed by successfully milling to a helix shaped workpiece.

  • Recently As the performance of the personal computer has been improving rapidly lots of research for the pc-based numerical computer actively progress in an easy repair maintenance and improving the performance with less cost. This paper presents the design using complex programmable logic device(CPLD). The CPU of Motion Controller that function as the real time control of the independent multi-axis motion the error-detect module and external I/O control made use of 80C196KC, In this paper The PC-NC effectively distributed to the load of NCK(numerical computer kernel) and have the advantage of high speed and precision.

  • With the development of CNC(Computer Numerical Control) and communication technology, the connotation and functions of Distributed Numerical Control have been greatly enlarged. In this study, we develop and implement a Distributed Numerical Control system that has real time and multi-tasking operation capability for the machining cell with various NC(Numerical Control) and CNC machines. With the consideration of economy, generalization and extension, this system is interfaced with Shop Floor Control System, Machine Control System and Tool Preparation System using advanced networking method. In the implementation phase, we use the ORACLE DBMS (Database Management System) as the DBMS and Microsoft Visual C++ as the programming tools.

  • The basic technology for a production system represented by design, machining, assembly, and inspection, is machining technology such as CNC machine tools. etc. Direct Numerical Control, that effeciently manages NC programs is developing into Distributed Numerical Control that increases the utilization of the machining cell. It has the ability of monitoring and control, in real time, for CNC and periperial equipment. In this study, we develop a Distributed Numerical Control system that has real time and multitasking operation capability for the machining cell with various CNC's. With the consideration of economy, generalization and extension, the system is interfaced with CNC machine tools and periperial device using RS-485 network and RS-232C communication methods.

  • This paper proposes a study on the spherical lens manufacturing by simultaneous 3 axis for NC lathe. We use friction drive system for moving system in experimental diamond turing machine. The diamond turning machine use manufacturing for high quality lens, mirror and many optics products. Especially, the high tech industry require a lot of lens. For example, optical engineering. medical science, space engineering and material engineering etc. The friction drive system is very simple and quiet, compared to ball screw system. We find a problem at the simultaneous 3 axis and suggest a solution. Also, when we manufactured a micro lens. find a problem and solution.

  • 수치제어 공작기계와 로보트 등에서의 위치판독장치는 핵심적인 자동화부품이다. 수치제어용 위치판독장치인 광학식 에코더의 제조기술의 국산화를 위하여 부분 공정을 개발하였다. Microlithography 가공기술을 이용하여 유리 기저판 위에 정밀눈금을 가공하였다. 눈금가공 공정은 많은 단계의 과정을 거쳐 이루어 진다. 박막두계, 수지코팅, 건조온도, 노광시간, 부식시간 등 공정변수들의 최적조건을 찾아내고 각 공정변수에 따른 눈금품직과의 관계를 규명하였다.

  • This study suggests a model of production information system that can reduce manufacturing lead time and uniformize quality by using DNC S/W as a part of constructing production information management system in the industrial field of the existing marine engine block manufacturing companies. Under the effect of development of this system, the NC machine interface device can be installed in the control computer to obtain the quality information of the workpiece in real time so that the time to inspect the process quality and verify the product defect information can be reduced by more than 70%. In addition, the reliability of quality information has been improved and the external credibility has been improved. It took 30 minutes for operator to obtain, analyze and manage the quality information when the existing USB memory is used, but the communication between the NC controller computer and the NC controller in real time was completed to analyze the workpiece within 10 seconds.

  • 효율적인 최종 NC코드를 만들어내기 위해서 공구경로는 효과적인 방법으로 결정되어 져야한다. 이는 3축 CNC 공작기계상에서 자유형상의 벽을 가진 자유곡면을 가공할 때 특히 중요하다. 많은 CAD/CAM 시스템들은 자유곡면가공을 위한 NC코드 생성 시 직선 보간을 이용한다. 그러나 이 방법은 가공된 바닥 표면의 매끄러움과 가공시간, 그리고 CL파일 사이즈를 줄이기 위해서 보정되어야 한다. 곡선 가공이 이러한 문제들을 줄이기 위한 해결책이 될 수 있다. 단일화된 황삭과 정삭 알고리즘과 공구경로가 그래픽으로 시뮬레이션 되었다. 본 연구에서는 자유곡면 바닥을 가진 파켓을 3축 CNC 공작기계를 이용하여 일반적인 파켓 밀링을 위한 직선 보간과 직선+아크를 혼합한 보간을 위한 NC 공구경로 데이터를 만들기 위한 3D 격자 항행 알고리즘을 개발하였다.
