Conductance technique is the moat accurate method and gives more detailed information about interface of the MIS structure than other methods. With the measurement of the equivalent parallel conductance and capacitance, the characterization of Si-SiN interface is developed. The interface state density of Si-SiN is obtained by $8{\times}10^{11}$ - $6{\times}10^{12}(eV^{-1}cm^{-2}$). After the positive B-T stress is performed on the sample, the interface state density gets increased. The interface state density is not effected by the D.C. stress.
Besides promising implications as fertile nuclear materials, thorium carbonitrides are of great interest owing to their peculiar physical and chemical properties, such as high density, high melting point, good thermal conductivity. This paper reports first-principles simulation results on the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of cubic thorium carbonitrides $ThC_xN_{(1-x)}$ (X = 0.03125, 0.0625, 0.09375, 0.125, 0.15625) employing formalism of density-functional-theory. For the simulation of physical properties, we incorporated full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave (FPLAPW) method while the exchange-correlation potential terms in Kohn-Sham Equation (KSE) are treated within Generalized-Gradient-Approximation (GGA) in conjunction with Perdew-Bruke-Ernzerhof (PBE) correction. The structural parameters were calculated by fitting total energy into the Murnaghan's equation of state. The lattice constants, bulk moduli, total energy, electronic band structure and spin magnetic moments of the compounds show dependence on the C/N concentration ratio. The electronic and magnetic properties have revealed non-magnetic but metallic character of the compounds. The main contribution to density of states at the Fermi level stems from the comparable spectral intensity of Th (6d+5f) and (C+N) 2p states. In comparison with spin magnetic moments of ThSb and ThBi calculated earlier with LDA+U approach, we observed an enhancement in the spin magnetic moments after carbon-doping into ThN monopnictide.
Statement of problem: Titanium nitride(TiN) coatings are the most general and popular coating method and used to improve the properties of metallic surface for industrial purposes. When TiN coating applied to the abutment screw, frictional resistance would be reduced, as a results, the greater preload and prevention of the screw loosening could be expected. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate mechanical properties of TiN coated film of various coating thickness on the titanium alloy surface and to evaluate proper coating thickness. Material and method: 95 Titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) discs of 15 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness were prepared for TiN coating and divided into 7 groups in this study. Acceding to coating deposition time (CDT) with TiN by using Arc ion plating, were divided into 7 groups : Group A (CDT 30min), Group B (CDT 60min), Group C (CDT 90min), Group D (CDT 120min), Group E (CDT 150min), Group F(CDT 180min) and Group G (no CDT) as a control group. TiN coating surface was observed with Atomic Force Microscope(AFM), field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) and examined with scratch tester, wear tester. Result: 1. Coating thickness fir each coated group was increased in proportion to coating deposition time. 2. Surface of all coated groups except Group A was homogeneous and smooth. However, surface of none coated Group G had scratch. 3. Adhesion strength for each coated group was increased in proportion to coating deposition time. 4. Wear resistance for each coated group was increased in proportion to coating deposition time. 5. Surface roughness in Group A, B, C was increased in proportion to coating deposition time. But, surface roughness in Group D, E, F was showed decreased tendency in proportion to coating deposition time. Conclusion: According to coating deposition time, mechanical properties of TiN coated film were changed. It was considered that 120 minutes coating deposition time ($1.32{\mu}m$ in coating thickness) is necessary.
Oxide-nitride-oxide(ONO) structures were formed by sequential radio frequency reactive magnetron sputtering method. The chemical composition and structure of these films were studied by using of secondary ion mass spectroscopy(SIMS) and Auger electron spectroscopy(AES) SIMS and AES experiments show the existence of nitridation at the SiO$_2$/Si substrate. The electrical characteristics of ONO films were evaluated by I-V and high frequency C-V measurements When the ONO films were annealed at 90$0^{\circ}C$ for 30 sec in $N_2$ ambient, the breakdown voltage increased and flat-band voltage decreased under high electric field.
Methods of Rock fragmentation are used rock of housing repair development at KU-SAN DONG area in seoul Youn-Pyong Ku. So, Theorical analyses of the effect of vibration and frequency on structural damage around old housed also discussed. The results can be summarized as follows: 1. A area(Rock area not more than 15m Ku-San Mention) Some Empirical equations were obtained $V=K\{{\frac{D}{W}}1/3\}^{-n}$ where the values for n and K are estimated to be -1.64 and 94 respectively, this values were obtained only theorical analyses. If we have 125g charge this area is impossible blasting operation, so this area must be worked by SRS(Super Rock Splitter) method. 2. B area(Rock area from 15m to 25m in a boundary line from Ku-San Mention) This area charge is about 125g in a delay time by some empirical equation s. So, this area can be blasting operations by small charge. 3. C area(Rock area from 25m to 35m in a boundary line from Ku-San Mention) This area charge is about 500g in delay time by some empirical equation s. So, this area can be blasting operations by middle charge. 4. D area(Rock area more then 35m in a boundary line from Ku-San Mention) This area charge is about 1000g in a delay time by some empirical equation s. So, this area can be blasting operations by middle charge.

Conventional look-up table(LT) has gained a lot of speed increase in generation of digital holograms for 3D objects, but it has required an enormous memory size of the LT. In this paper, a novel approach to dramatically reduce the size of the conventional LT, still keeping its advantage of fast computational speed is proposed, which is called here a N-LT(novel look-up table) method. In the proposed method, only the fringe patterns of the center points on each image plane are pre-calculated, called elemental fringe patterns and stored in the look-up table. Then, the fringe patterns for other object points on each image plane can be obtained by simply shifting this pre-calculated elemental fringe pattern according to the displaced values from the center to those points and adding them together. Some experimental results revealed that the computational speed and the required memory size of the proposed approach are found to be 48.7 times faster than that of the ray-tracing method and 217 times smaller than that of the conventional LT method, respectively.
The extraction method and quantitative analysis for the fat-soluble vitamins present in food stuffs and vitamin products have been investigated. The simultaneous separation and analysis of the vitamins by reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method was conducted using an isocratic elution with methanol : water (95 : 5) eluent on a Novapak $C_{18}$ column. The detection of vitamins was achieved by a variable wavelength UV detector. To improve the detection sensitivity detection wavelengths were set at the highest absorption bands such as 330, 265, 285, and 290nm for the respective vitamins. The analysis for the fat-soluble vitamins was finished within 40 minutes. Alkaline hydrolysis and enzymatic hydrolysis were investigated for the sample preparation; and liquid-liquid extraction and liquid-solid extraction were attempted for the extraction of vitamins. Both hydrolysis methods were turned out to be appropriate for the analysis for vitamins A, D, and E, while for the analysis of vitamin K the enzymatic hydrolysis method demonstrated better results. Diethyl ether, pentane, and n-hexane were found to give higher recovery for the liquid-liquid extraction and silica cartridge for the liquid-solid extraction.

Co-Ni-Fe-N thin films were fabricated by a $N_2$ reactive rf magnetron sputtering method. The nitrogen partial pressure ($P_{N2}$) was varied in the range 0~10% . As$P_{N2}$ increases in this range, the saturation magnetization $B_s$ linearly decreases from 19.8 kG to 14 kG and the electrical resistivity ($\rho$) increases from 27 to 155 $\mu\Omegacm$. The coercivity $H_c$ exhibits the minimum value at 4% $P_{N2}$. The magnetic anisotropy fields ($H_k$) are in the range of 20$\sim$50 Oe. High frequency characteristics of $(Co_{22.2}Ni_{27.6}Fe_{50.2})_{100-x}N_x$ films are excellent in the range of 3$\sim$5% of $P_{N2}$. In particular, the effective permeability of the film fabricated at 4% $P_{N2}$ is 800, which is maintained up to 600 MHz. This film also shows Bs of 17.5 kG, $H_c$/ of 1.4 Oe, resistivity of 98$\mu\Omegacm$ and $H_k$ of about 25 Oe. Also, the corrosion resistance of $(Co_{22.2}Ni_{27.6}Fe_{50.2})_{100-x}N_x$ films was imp roved with increasing N concentration.

Evaluation of the smear effect caused by mandrel penetration into soft ground for a vertical drain installation is very important to predict the consolidation time of soft ground improvement. 30 kinds of laboratory model tests considering in situ conditions were conducted to investigate the formation of a smear zone and the decrease of coefficient of permeability in the disturbed zone. Three types(C(clay):M(silt)=1:1, 0.5:0.5, and 0:1) of reconstituted samples were used for 3 dimensional smear zone test. An experimental study was performed focusing on length of mandrel penetration, mandrel shape and size, earth pressure, and ground condition(unit weight and grain size distributions). Laboratory test results show that the length of mandrel penetration is the most critical factor for the formation of smear zone. As a result, the ratio between diameter of the smear zone($d_s$) and that of mandrel($d_m$) at field using long mandrel becomes larger than conventional $d_s/d_m$. The ratio between $d_s$ and $d_m$ ranges from 1.89 and 2.48 with the sample at C:M=1:0. It was also found that the $d_s/d_m$ value with the round shape of the mandrel is smaller than that of diamond one. The value of $d_s/d_m$ decreased with larger mandrel size, lower unit weight, and higher earth pressure. However, higher silt content led to increase of $d_s/d_m$. The ratio between coefficient of horizontal permeability in the smear zone($k_{hs}$) and that of undisturbed zone($k_{ho}$) ranged from 0.70 to 0.85. The test results imply that factors and values affecting $k_{hs}/k_{ho}$ show similar tendency with $d_s/d_m$.
