In this paper, we introduce a new kind of slant helix for null curves called null $W_n$-slant helix and we give a definition of new harmonic curvature functions of a null curve in terms of $W_n$ in (n + 2)-dimensional Lorentzian space $M^{n+2}_1$ (for n > 3). Also, we obtain a characterization such as: "The curve ${\alpha}$ s a null $W_n$-slant helix ${\Leftrightarrow}H^{\prime}_n-k_1H_{n-1}-k_2H_{n-3}=0$" where $H_n,H_{n-1}$ and $H_{n-3}$ are harmonic curvature functions and $k_1,k_2$ are the Cartan curvature functions of the null curve ${\alpha}$.

An investigation made of the variations of angle of bias on the top of the sleeve cap curve line and calculated easing contraction ratio by capheights(A ; a,h$\times$5,/6) B: A, H/4 +4cm C:A.H/3 D: A.H/ 4+3cm E:AH/4+2cm, F: A,H/4+1cm, G: A,H/4, H:A,H/6, I:A,H/8) and the efects of easing contraction on the cap curve lines of sleeve A, D, G by easing stitch density with the gathering foot: sewing condition-lockstitch industrial machine stitch density(N1.0 ; 38stitches/3cm N1.5: 26stitches/3cm, N2.0 ; 19stitches/3cm, N2.5 ; 14stitches/ 3cm) The results obtained were as follows; 1) The variations of the angle of bias on the top of the sleeve cap curve line by cap heights can be done according to the angle balance (front; $\alpha$-$\beta$ back ; $\alpha$'- $\beta$') between the angle (front ;$\alpha$, $\beta$, back ; $\alpha$'- $\beta$') of bias of the two base-lines. 2) The higher cap height the more higher the calculated easing contraction ratio. 3) The lower the stitch density the higher easing contraction ratio. 4) The effects of easing contraction was that sleeve G was more than sleeve A, D.

In this paper, we prove that infinite-dimensional vector spaces of -dense curves are generated by means of the functional equations f(x)+f(2x)+${\cdots}$+f(nx) = 0, with $n{\geq}2$, which are related to the partial sums of the Riemann zeta function. These curves ${\alpha}$-densify a large class of compact sets of the plane for arbitrary small ${\alpha}$, extending the known result that this holds for the cases n = 2, 3. Finally, we prove the existence of a family of solutions of such functional equation which has the property of quadrature in the compact that densifies, that is, the product of the length of the curve by the $n^{th}$ power of the density approaches the Jordan content of the compact set which the curve densifies.

Assume that V and W are topologically equivalent near the origin.

We consider a curve $\alpha$= $\alpha$(s) in Minkowski 3-space $E_1^3$ and denote by {T, N, B} the Frenet frame of $\alpha$. We say that $\alpha$ is a slant helix if there exists a fixed direction U of $E_1^3$ such that the function is constant. In this work we give characterizations of slant helices in terms of the curvature and torsion of $\alpha$. Finally, we discuss the tangent and binormal indicatrices of slant curves, proving that they are helices in $E_1^3$.

In this paper, ${\Delta}J$-integral is used to analyze fatigue crack growth of viscoelastic material. Using analytical integral value, the J-integral is calculated. So, reduction of calculation time and increase of accuracy are made possible. The stress intensity factor is calculated using the finite element method code. In difference with existed fatigue crack analysis using ${\Delta}K$, we were successfully able to analyze various load amplitude and the fatigue crack of load cycle only with two fatigue crack growth parameters and creep compliance. The analysis gives N-${\alpha}$ curve for simulation of crack growth, and the curve almost corresponds with test results.

An ionospheric error simulation is needed for creating precise Global Positioning System (GPS) signal using GPS simulator. In this paper we developed Klobuchar coefficients n ${\alpha}_n$ and ${\beta}_n$ (n = 1, 2, 3, 4) generation algorithms for simulator and verified accuracy of the algorithm. The algorithm extract those Klobuchar coefficients from broadcast (BRDC) messages provided by International GNSS Service during three years from 2006 through 2008 and curve-fit them with sinusoidal and linear functions or constant. The generated coefficients from our developed algorithms are referred to as MODL coefficients, while those coefficients from BRDC messages are named as BRDC coefficients. The maximum correlation coefficient between MODL and BRDC coefficients was found for ${\alpha}_2$ and the value was 0.94. On the other hand, the minimum correlation was 0.64 for the case of ${\alpha}_1$. We estimated vertical total electron content using the Klobuchar model with MODL coefficients, and compared the result with those from the BRDC model and global ionosphere maps. As a result, the maximum RMS was 3.92 and 7.90 TECU, respectively.

Prostaglandin $F_2{\alpha}$ ($PGF_2{\alpha}$) can facilitate release of epinephrine from the adrenal gland. The objective was to extend these findings and determine the effects of $PGF_2{\alpha}$ on sexual activity and semen collection training in sexually inexperienced boars. Boars (n=32; $281{\pm}18$ days of age) were moved individually once weekly to a semen collection room equipped with an artificial sow. Before entering the semen collection room, boar received i.m. treatments of $PGF_2{\alpha}$ at doses of 5 (n=8), 10 (n=8), or 20 (n=8), and control boar (n=8) were not treated. Reaction time (elapsed time after entering collection pen until the start of mounting) for boars receiving 5mg ($3.3{\pm}0.9\;min$), 10mg ($3.3{\pm}0.8\;min$) $PGF_2{\alpha}$ was shorter (p<0.05) than for controls ($6.7{\pm}0.9min$). Duration of ejaculation (min) per session was longer (p<0.05) for $PGF_2{\alpha}$ (10 mg, 20 mg)-treated boars ($7.3{\pm}0.7\;min$, $6.9{\pm}0.7\;min$), compared to control ($3.4{\pm}0.8\;min$). The number of training session per boars was less (p=0.056) for $PGF_2{\alpha}$ 10mg-treated boars ($1.0{\pm}0.4$), compared to control ($2.0{\pm}0.4$). Semen characteristic such as volume, concentration, the number of total ejaculated sperm, were similar for $PGF_2{\alpha}$-treated and controls. There was no apparent difference on sperm movement characteristics (Mot: motility, VCL : curve linear velocity, VSL : straight line velocity, VAP : average path velocity, LIN : linearity) after semen preservation by collected with or without $PGF_2{\alpha}$ treatment. In summary, administration of $PGF_2{\alpha}$ in boars increased the sexual activity and facilitated the training boars to mount an artificial sow for semen collection, but did not affect semen characteristic.

In this study, to determine characteristics of compaction and the soil water characteristic curve(SWCC) in decomposed granitic soils, compaction tests and SWCC tests were carried out for samples having various contents of coefficient of uniform($c_u$), By compacting their samples with standard Proctor density test, the effects of binder contents on maximum dry density and optimum moisture content were investigated and compared. Samples compacted with the maximum dry density and the optimum moisture content were tested by means of the SWCC, to determine their SWCC parameters, such as Brooks & Corey(${\lambda}$, ${\Psi}_b$), Van Genuchten (${\alpha}$, n, m), Fredlund & Xing(a, n, m).

${\alpha}_2$-Adrenoceptor antagonists, which can enhance synaptic norepinephrine levels by blocking feedback inhibition processes, are potentially useful in the treatment of disease states such. as depression, memory impairment, impotence and sexual dysfunction. (10bS)-1,2,3,5,6,10b-Hexahydropyrrolo[2,1-a]isoquinoline oxalate (YSL-3S) was evaluated in several in vitro biological tests to establish its pharmacological profile of activities as an ${\alpha}_2$-adrenoceptor antagonist. Saturation binding assay revealed that$^{3}[H]$rauwolscine bound to the $\alpha$$_2$-adrenoceptors with a Kd value of 6.3$\pm$0.5 nM and a Bmax value of 25l$\pm$39 fmol/mg protein in rat cortical synaptic membranes. Competitive binding assay showed that YSL-3S inhibited the binding of$^3[H]$rauwolscine (1 nM) in a concentration-dependent manner with a Ki value of 98.2$\pm$12.1 nM while it did not inhibit the binding of [$^3$H]cytisine (1.25 nM) to neuronal nicotinic cholinergic receptors. The Ki values of yohimbine, clonidine and norepinephrine for $^3[H]$rauwolscine binding were 15.8$\pm$1.0, 40.1$\pm$5.9 and 40.0$\pm$11.5 nM, respectively. In addition, the binding affinity of YSL-3S for ${\alpha}_2$-adrenoceptors was higher than that of its antipode and the racemic mixture. The functional activity of YSL-3S at the presynaptic ${\alpha}_2$-adrenoceptors was assessed using the prostatic portion of the rat vas deferens. Clonidine inhibited field-stimulated contractions of the vas deference in a dose-dependent manner. The presence of YSL-3S or yohimbine caused a parallel, rightward the dose-response curve of clonidine in a dose-dependent manner, indicating an antagonistic action at the presynaptic ${\alpha}_2$-adrenoceptors. The $pA_2$values of yohimbine and YSL-3S were 7.66$\pm$0.13 and 6.64$\pm$0.18, respectively. The results indicate that YSL-3S acts as a competitive antagonist at presynaptic ${\alpha}_2$ -adrenoceptors with a potency approximately ten times lower than yohimbine, but is devoid of binding affinity for neuronal nicotinic cholinergic receptors.
